Thought forms that arise,
often agonise,
unless
a plan we devise,
choosing to baptise
and bless,
rather than apprise
these ego spawned lies
that stress.

If we would progress,
our soul must access
the heart,
choosing to undress,
rather than suppress
thoughts smart,
ego dispossess
that fears which oppress,
depart.

Whence fear and soul part,
bliss beats then do start
to rise.
Love added to cart,
makes magnetism dart
to highs;
truly a learnt art
of how we impart,
touch wise.

Update True Environmental Tales - 101

I
Fifty years ago - I was about ten -
My grandfather wept for a tree:
Blue Spruce, one in the township ...
I empathized, but didn't understand

II
This morning, in 40-hour rain,
I wept for my three-year Neem ...
Boys got over my fence at night,
To dispossess the whole environment -
So they have slings to hunt birds

III
I talked calmly about time and tree:
They empathize - but don't understand

Lesson: I remind myself, Jesus allowed the "crime" so I a cept. Therapists talk about 5-minute funerals, grieving, over some issues. I tried; won in 25 hours, LOL! My wife & I already planted new saplings. Hallelujah. Shalom shalOm

Premium Member Beware the Shepherd

While jurisprudence illustrates through brief,
the bureaucrat stands verbal in reply.
To pillage righteous freedoms like a thief,
they fan malfeasance tethered to a lie.

Incitement is the weaponry of choice
for inspiration fanning despot flames,
autocracy inflects within the voice
to emphasize the fabricated claims.

When treachery lies hidden in pursuit
of public trust or monetary gain,
a blind belief leaves reason in dispute
to dispossess such mutinous disdain.

Beware the quislings, quick in repartee,
with flouted oaths that lend to vagrant creed,
for in their wake, the demagogues will plea
constituents were partners in the deed.

Is not a vote the voice behind the lead,
is not a gathered flock thy shepherd’s keep?
For voices served are culpable in deed,
and what they cultivate so shall they reap.

Though, but a bit more goodness lights
the night than evil bids to dim the human heart,
morality must lean into this fight
if e’er to let benevolence impart.

Shores of Doom and Gloom In Your Faith

Shores of doom
Needn’t engulf the space in your mind
Where without your will gloom
Can’t inhabit until faithless fleas and spiritual sleaze find

Room and space to waylay and slay without delay
The faith you profess to possess
In a spray without a ray stray
Strung and hung when you dispossess

Your faith of the strength and depth
Which faith has sunk into its roots
In each significant step and faith breath
You smuggle and gaggle in the boots

You wear with pride as you deride the loss
You claim not to suffer in the dwarf
You call disbelief and the abandon toss
Spotted in the wharf

Where faith ought to find succor
By virtue of the pride of place
You claim to allocate to the anchor
Faith can’t in your mind squeeze from a disbelief trace in a lace

Shores of doom and gloom striving to mount
On your faith a determined assault
Within a number of sorties you dismount
As conscience pangs claim it’s no longer our fault.

Left Behind and Cannot Find

Left Behind and Cannot Find

What had happened is we left it behind;
Then it no longer where we able to find;
Frost cold felt,
And did  melt;
When found send back if you don't mind.

Premium Member Quote Me Rumi Forgiveness

You strike me down, though I am innocent,
And spent no time giving you reasons.
If my skin offends you, it's your soul's content.
It's buried in the environment of your seasons.

I'll bow my head, seek your forgiveness,
And accept the wounds, where you pierced my heart.
I'll gather them in and never dispossess,
As I gain knowledge from the darkness they impart.

The wound is the place where light enters you..Rumi

Plain Talk--Not

I view it as unseemly to use high-sounding language to make an impression.
I perceive it to be ostentatious to marshal words vainglorious in succession.

It is a determinant of consternation, if not constipation, to be so assaulted.
Obsessive practitioners of linguistic pomposity presume they are self-exalted.

Whom [note proper objective case usage] do they fathom they are deceiving?
Do they inaugurate imaginations veined by vanity that I am them believing?

I desire a day when poets dispossess themselves of verbiage of pretension
And with exemplary expediency abandon exotic words they need not mention.

Poets aspiring to perfection should endorse this humble verse unreservedly,
Or have their word-overworked works consigned to anonymity deservedly.

Days Deprived

Displays deepest mind

And a resolute that endeavor

Yet memories were treacherous and sere

Sound of silence startled ear

Disconsolate linger chasten'd more fair

Eclipsing taunting the innocent air

Pale rigid faces leave hollow empty traces

Retrace chains endure

Inspite of time revealed

Vague imprinted dreams

Eternal fame of rushing wings

Dispossess on the waters, cease

Apocalypse

No man knows the exact day or hour
But charlatans continually preach of an Armageddon stour
Over fallow fields they their abrasive treatises scour
Softening the hard, unyielding ground as a tidy, careful plower
With visions of doomsday they fertile hearts do shower
Their seeds annually spring up as the perennial flower
With self-aggrandizing statements, continually their banal egos empower
Prophesying the cataclysmic end from their ivory tower
Predicting a scourging blight on every shielded bower
With their fleecing mantra distill a warning so dour
Ignorant patrons dispossess themselves of temporal treasures and cower
With presentiments of fearsome events that will this evil world devour
If only they would throw off the yoke of parochial tenets, emboldening discerning spirits with valour
Their hungry hearts would the chaff disperse and process the truthful remnant into a satiating flour
