Quote Me Rumi Forgiveness

You strike me down, though I am innocent,
And spent no time giving you reasons.
If my skin offends you, it's your soul's content.
It's buried in the environment of your seasons.

I'll bow my head, seek your forgiveness,
And accept the wounds, where you pierced my heart.
I'll gather them in and never dispossess,
As I gain knowledge from the darkness they impart.

The wound is the place where light enters you..Rumi

WELL DONE, Frederic. I can see the poets are really getting into this Rumi contest and here I just got back from a marvelous visit with family and I am overwhelmed with all I have to do before work tomorrow!! Nice seeing you tonight. You really hit the nail on the head with this one.
