IN AND OF SYNDROME AWARENESS

Time to overcome
This dread Oppressor Syndrome’s
Large, self-killing sum:-
Self-oppression devastates:
Cancel the syndrome’s mistakes:-

Come revolution,
Heal syndrome’s devolution:
Curing delusion:-
It's time for revolution:
Let’s get to liberation:-

We’ve survived much worse,
Of the oppressor’s damned curse;
Now’s too, we must burst:-
Streaming justice back here,
Let’s get going without fear:-

We must get through this;
Can’t lose hope and be remiss:-
Chains, we must resist:-
This cold war, too, must be done;
Liberty claimed and won:-

Struggling years lay ahead,
Election chains must be shed;
Let’s put fear to bed:-
Let’s claim our democracy,
And our equanimity!

This is poetry

I'm lover not a fighter,
me spilling exclamations
instead of blood,
its what I resamble,
the ink in my viens that paints not images
but setting reactions on the loose.

Please! blame me not,
creativity is access,
mean not to invade
but i'm without bearings,
this din in my words,
put flames to my surrounding,

I mean not to brag,
help me extinguish this overflow
 in my system,
it just can't be contained,
it wanna consume everything before me,
like a natural disaster,
my  presence devastates,
tie your attentions,
before i'm charged for being creative.
I am poetic ink.

not to dilute your egoes
but to uproot your reactions,
like acid,
i'm here to burn not your minds
but your word perspective and perception.
I said it i'm poetry
not that I was born of poetry
but soldiered enough
in gathering meaning
from all sources to your presence,
of what poetry is.

The rain

The rain,
Pain of farmers,
Devastates crops fully,
Put the farmers in dilemma,
The pain.

Prescription Drugs

The synthetic poison
that courses through my veins
churns the bowel of the earth
and sent a tremor through my heart.

What kind of remedy this is?

It heals one part,
But devastates the other,
What kind of potion man brews?
I see the flower buds
bursting forth on one branch
leaving the adjacent portion barren,
It heals and harms
It yields and resists...

It resuscitates the body
but kills the spirit.

Premium Member One Life

To live one life and die forever
Is this a matter of belief?
The simpe fact of death can never
Be changed or anyway retrieved
Who’d say that they were born again
From their own ashes, in defence
Of the idea that it's them
The same old them, and no one else?
There must be witnesses who’d say
Oh yes, I saw this guy before
He looks the same and talks the way
He used to, till he was no more
I haven’t heard of such encounters
Solace is comforting, I know
Truth devastates, and sorrow howls
Its howling cry is not a show
Souls recognize themselves, it happens
How does it work, no one can see
But these voice messages, and letters
Will stay until the end with me
For what it's worth, life cannot be
Repeated and outlived again
And that was it, one life for me
And one for you, to understand.

I saw in her smile

Chilly are moments
When I am all alone
Meaningless obsessions
When your have no one
Of your own

It's the moment that I see
You
My numbness fades
I can feel
I saw it in her smile
Lovers drawn together
I saw in her smile
These times for us
To treasure

Much of which is uncertain
Loving you at all times
When we kiss and hug each
Other
It just devastates my mind

Maybe it's wishful thinking
But if I am to be your lover true
I'd need one understanding
I'd need to marry you

I saw in her smile
She has a silly grin
I heard in her answer
She wished me to her
Only man

At the Gates

Civilization is crumbling
The Huns are at the gates
I don't know what we're becoming,
But I sure hope that it waits

The children are talking backwards
The leaders are talking in tongues
The fork’s in the soup
And we cannot recoup
The innocent days of our young

Logic treads so lightly
While knowledge devastates —

The foe’s at the gates.

The Devil’s in the details
The fat is in the fire
Up to our necks in saccharine and dreck –
Is this any way to conspire?

Don’t call for no revolution
No secret brotherhood
I've seen dinosaurs that have stood here before –
Their ways are gone for good

Common sense treads lightly
While arrogance devastates —

The Man’s at the gates.

I don't know how we got here
By what token or cosmic train
Don't know the story started –
In a garden or after a bang

But if we go and whimper
In the cruel hedges of deceit,
Then we’re just as bad
As the lies we’ve had
In our laps but could never defeat

Perdition treads so lightly
While sanctity devastates —

The end’s at the gates.

Death of a relationship may be the result of one's
Indifference to the other's feelings and needs,
Vindictive words and actions, victimizing that stuns,
Or infidelity that devastates~~and a heart bleeds.
Romance may yet win out, dismissing pessimism.
Crying may cease, with time and the fading of past deeds.
Each step on the path leads to optimism.

Premium Member A Broken Heart

Once your pain gets put on display
for the perusal of the world;
a broken heart
devastates dreamers,
as reality sinks in.
Love cannot be granted;
it can only be accepted or rejected.
And there are no simple answers
or shortcuts past the pain or shame
it may leave in its wake, should it move on.
Truth confronts lies and hopes
in their totality;
with a wanting heart.
And yet, empty promises
roll off the tongue
as they drift quietly into memory;
slipping into oblivion without making a sound.
A wounded soul is slow to heal;
for forever feelings, fester,
within subconscious dreams.
You come to grips with your fear;
however, the pain lingers;
and so, you wall off your heart,
barring love from ever entering it again.

Premium Member A Pair of Captivating Eyes

Was it in a dream when I first saw her,
Or was it in the crowded street afar,
Or was it on the beach by the setting sun,
That she, my heart had won?
All I saw then was a pair of eyes
Beautifully set on a wan face
As twinkling stars in the night sky
Or gems on the moon’s diadem high

They seemed to converse without end
In a lingua of love with passions blend
It was a captivating moment divine
I thought the whole world was mine

Those eyes had turned me blind
That all other pursuits I left behind
As her eyelids quickly fluttered
Within me rosy dreams cluttered
Hopes colorful crimsoned my sky
On featherless wings I flew high

In my thoughts for long I chased her
Though chance was nil of possessing her
Yet I hoped one day she would abruptly spring
And merry ditties we would together sing

Flowers blossomed and wilted
Snowflakes hardened and melted
Time made its hasty run
Spring, summer, autumn and winter in turn
Still I wait, looking in vain
Never allowing my hopes to wane
Devilment devastates devoted devotees,
But devout devotees devour deities.

A Storm We Have To Weather

The pandemic unleashes its fury,
Infecting the nations with its virus;
Men from all walks of life start to worry
About their health that doesn’t inspire us.

Like a super typhoon, it hits with ire,
Wreaking havoc on the face of the earth;
It devastates the land like a wild fire,
Destroying and decreasing human’s worth.

Because the illness that spreads is fatal,
Face masks and face shields become evident;
PPE men work in the hospital,
Attending many a covid patient.

Coronavirus gives birth to Delta,
Bringing more trouble to community;
Omicron variant adds preys to data
On long list of victims in misery.

Human’s resiliency really matters,
He stands his ground to combat the fierce foe;
His head is up when everything shatters,
Seeing the hope for the sunlight to glow.

Premium Member Grief Is Overwhelming

Grief hides behind a veil of tears
that burns like acid rain;
in a downpour of anger, hurt, and disbelief.

Consuming every moment and every thought
grief, wants to lash out at the world;
desperate for some relief.

But nothing can numb the hurt,
as grief clings to death, and in so doing
devastates the living.

As love shrinks to memories
reflected within pools of tears;
Grief is overwhelming and unforgiving.

Corruption
devastates the roots of peace,
kills the trees of truth

Grief conceals itself
behind a veil
of anger, fear, and disbelief:
and yet, it invades your every thought.
In your heart, you want to lash out
at Death:
to send the hurt back!
Grief clings to Death:
and in so doing
devastates the living.
Your world shrinks
to memories:
reflected in pools of tears.
And life loses its spark:
a part of you is missing;
leaving a hole in your heart.
Time is but a concept
of the mind:
it has no power over grief.
And yet, there is something
stronger than time,
that can numb the pain, and comfort the soul:
a faith, fueled by love, hope, and trust.
