Tri-Con
Created by Connie Marcum Wong consisting of at least 4 three line stanzas. Each line has no set meter or syllable count. The last word in each stanza must rhyme with the following Stanza and then you need to change your rhyming word again in the third stanza and so on.
Grief hides behind a veil of tears
that burn like acid rain,
in a downpour of anger, hurt, and disbelief.
Consuming every moment and every thought
grief wants to lash out at the world,
desperate for some relief.
But nothing can numb the hurt,
for grief clings to death, and in so doing
devastates the living.
When love shrinks to memories
reflected within pools of tears,
grief is overwhelming and unforgiving.
