I See Money

Doesn't money feel like slavery,

Delegating where you need to be.

Acquiring desires that are temporary,

Keeping you distracted so you can't see,

Because it's needed to feed the family.

As taxes accumulate rampantly,

The Rich ask the Poor for charity.

As they're selling life by the hour,

Devouring all our precious power.

Waiting to bloom like a flower,

Hour by hour Lives grind down.

Payday is owed to the town,

So there's never enough around.

The sound of new trends come around,

Throwing whats left to the ground.

Enjoying the new trend they found,

Cries of hunger all around.

Not a care in the world,

As they move toward alone.

It's time to cut the chord,

Tying us to money.

So we can see,

The power is in harmony.

Money was a fallacy,

Only gaining what was temporary.

Doing anything necessary just to carry,

Taking the power from you and me,

Stealing eternity,

You'll repeat it till you see.

R I P Dad

S ubsequent period of flashbacks sunbath my heart
Acccosted my adjourned remembrance: got me intermittent
More laughter in disguise not to divulge the obscure
Stormed me in the cloud of memories that trigger apparently
Oh until those seem concerned appaer treacly
Nagging in the hospital of less or no patient

At your own best, your presence were felt to a fault
Krugerrand in making with no jetney-like behaviour
In no reluctancy of delegating resp. to Ina
No one has the great and genuine love shown after demise
When will there be menopause?
Ullage of good turn around preserve us
Most awesome possibility equisitely manage the emotional tug-of-war
It will take exceptionality to discover them in my treasure chest

A Season of Indigence

A SEASON OF INDIGENCE

This drought and curse
Of hand to mouth;
An unrepentant encroachment of pauperism
Impregnating our back country
Discern,
Our bigwigs in back country
Stand aloof
While,
Season after season
Millions of Pickneys
Flourish with kwashiokor
I,
A son of the soil,
A citizen of the world
Peruse no light
At the end of the tunnel
Jet age swarmed us with gusto,
An age when birds
Learned to flutter incessantly
Criss crossing the Atlantic and Pacific oceans
Ushering in a pretence
In social change
Only to abscond
With it's tail between it's legs
Information age,
Just stirred from it's slumber
It's lazy eyes struggling to adjust
To our flickering fluorescent
Hard drive here....flash drive there.....
Mouse click left....mouse click right....
Still,
I see no light
At the end of the tunnel
Robots are now delegating affairs
Our barns are empty
Our children famished
Poverty is now an opium of humanity
Alas,
Third trimester of harbor, now in labor,
The Surgeon's predigious epidural hype
Adjudged below the belt, still born!

The Caesars' Mad Rule

I

Truly how blessed are we not to bow to the barbaric chivalry
Of emperors and kings’ in raging insanity
Historical madness runs in the house of Caesars

Considered great, ruler of lands and seas
The house of Caesar wrought constant battles and
Incestuous orgies
Leprous Tiberius crucified thousands under his feet
From simple paranoid fantasies,
Separating himself, even from family
Ruling from afar just as he pleased,
To hell with the senate and their democracy-

Maddened in fear
A sweet young Caligula went to live
With his uncle Tiberius in his 16th year,
Ill of health from his day born
Caligula gratified by habits of Tiberius adorned,
Any evil or sin Caligula added to his very name
Even delegating his horse to the senate,
laughing with no shame-

Oh and how his people loved him during his rising rule
Adoring his gifts to them, laughing whilst
To the senate he was so cruel.

Sun Squeezed Yellow

Paint me a day
with lemon squeezed yellow
Lime green meadows
beneath bluebell skies mellow

Brush in the shoots
of daffodils sunny blooms
delegating room
for a robins red belly plumes

Stroke in this scene
daisies white with sunny smiles
altering this trial
of winter’s cold, but for awhile

James Bond's Return

A man of honour and always a distant memory,
Lives as complex as a James Bond novel,
Fates affected by memory
Dreams delegating a love affair that could never be,
He and she colleagues of learning,
Each writing their scripts in their senior years,
Almost royal and regal conceptually,
Some of us live our dreams,
And some of us are blessed with dreaming.

Theory
Has it,
Educationalists adopted the genre to

Bemuse the youth of the day.
Ironic it appeared when
Reluctant to tell it as it was,
Delegating the subject to the classroom teacher
Some self satisfying spinster of Victorian persuasion,

And one foreign regarding hands on experience.
Not that it was of any consequence
Delivery of the distortion being far more important,

Than having to concern oneself with the truth when
Handicapped minds having become clones of authority,
Evaluate evolution.

But alas, the Birds and the Bees
Estrange after many years in vogue,
Evaporated into oblivion once
Self indulgence inscribed within the resurrection.

Don'T Interrupt the Music

Dissonance is delegating the intensity in my eyes
Minor chords unveil the passion my body can’t belie
Eighth notes are lightning sparks that burn my finger tips
And when you play Fminor7 I tend to bite my lips.
I want you to scale my thighs
the way you play A minor harmonic
Deftly wrenching haunting moans
Experiences anything but platonic
Allegro Legato Crescendo Vibrato
Sing to me in Italian and tell me to hold my tongue
But if anyone interrupts the music …
a piano's lid comes crashing down--the last note never sung.

Restoration, a Myth

One day at noon, a shadow fell to the earth and announced that he was God's
chronicler and that he had to report important events to The Master.

All day he followed people around until by dark he was feeling faint.

What if instead of me following everyone around, people could just decide what
was important and make their own reports to God?

He made a petition to see the King of the Universes and humbly told Him the
plan.

Our Creator God knew all but He listened politely to the shadow.

I gave you the assignment to see how you would carry it out. You were diligent to
the point of exhaustion and then you got creative and started thinking of
delegating and sharing the workload and making people responsible for their
own memories. Good Job!

You have earned your Brain.

The shadow was ecstatic, a large light bulb was given to him and he shadowed
everyone who came into his presence. Soon he was tired again. He decided to
rest and let the light bulb be bright at certain times and other times to rest. This
was a sign that he had mastered the concept of being restored and revived.

New Tomorrow

tulips scattered in the echo ridden
hall of my mind

providing green pastures to calm my
soul

delegating which fit I throw first
and electing which level my morals
stand

the standards in which I stand for
will stand forever

and I shall delete all memeories
of my former self

to embrace a new tomorrow

Alone

I live a life of solitude, no one around
Following a spiral path, my life is downward bound
No value of life have I yet found
Just listening to the sound of distant gossip and chatter
My life is like the meeting of a rock and glass, all it can do is shatter
Fatter and fatter grow my tears each day
I live without trust and a heart that’s been broken in every single way
Oh, what a life of sorrow and despair
A life so pointless, to the point that no one even cares
For no one can bear, this timeless pain to endure
A road I’ve traveled one to many times
No gifts to enjoy, no one with whom to belove the joy of giving
At no point in time have I felt my life anything worth living
But I have been receiving, receiving suffering and tribulation
My heart has been imprisoned and longs for liberation
My mind is delegating on whether to let love in
When the mind clearly knows the heart will be broken again
My life light, seems to be becoming dim as life goes on
For my life is a mistake, a blessing gone wrong
For I can’t explain why I feel that I am stranded
And all my life I’ve felt alone and abandoned
