Prince For a Prom Nite

Lyrical montage’

Like a sonic sensual massage

Like my Red Corvette in your garage

I Would Die 4 U

Just Take Me Wit U

Cos me without you

Is Computer Blue.

Let’s Go Crazy in the dark

Or in Paisley Park

Your Kiss is my spark

Got me Delirious

Do Me Baby I am serious

Hot Thang you got me curious

Let’s Pretend We’re Married girl

With all the Diamonds and Pearls

You the Most Beautiful Girl in the World.

We can go around it in a day

Wear nothing but a Raspberry Beret

Got no money but I will pay

Come on Glam Slam

Let’s Pop this Life and scram

I will take the place of your man

People Recreating Old Memories without the pain

When Doves Cry…it feels soft like Purple Rain

Tonight who will be Calling your Name

Got a Cinnimon Girl I call mine

Black Sweat is so tastily divine

Tonight Let’s Party Like it is 1999

It Could Have Been Love

this could have been love
this could have been love
but you never see me as i am
this thing called love, you never want to believe

this should have been love
this should have been love
but you keep on playing to pretend
which thing of love, you don't understand

you do it again
you do it again today
just stop pretending
why don't you find your own way

it's a beautiful life
why do you have to ruin this thing
this thing called love,
you just hate it anyway

such a fool for me
such a fool for me
why do i have to be with someone like you
but now i'm free to decide, without you

just go away from me
go away from here

this could have been love
this could have been love
but you never see me as i am
this thing called love, you never want to believe

this should have been love
this should have been love
but you keep on playing to pretend
which thing of love, you don't understand

Meant To Dream

Time has lead me to see,
we all live through our dreams.
An you girl, you were meant for me,
cause i'm still livin my dream.

If you ask me the question I'll make you believe,
cause I've been holding out.
If you tell me your leaving I'll fall to my knees,
cause i've been holding out.
It's time for me to say,
I need you.

Good things are coming to me,
An I wait patiently.
God knows i try to believe,
the way you believe in me.

If you ask me the question i'll make you believe,
cause i've been holding out.
If you tell me your leaving I'll fall to my knees,
cause i've been holding out.
It's time for me to say
I need you.

Time has lead me to see
we all live through our dreams
and you girl, you were meant for me
cause i'm still livin my dream.

If you ask me the question i'll make you believe,
cause i've been holding out.
If you tell me your leaving i'll fall to my knees,
cause i've been holding out.
It's time for me to say,
I need you.

The Music In Me

No matter how hard I try
I can't control the music inside me
It starts in my head
then down to my feet
It clouds my brain
so that I'm unable to speak
It's indescribable, unexplained
it's like it knows the real me
It knows what I like
It knows how to make me weak
It moves my body
It heals my soul
It turns me from a nobody
into an artist with a rhythm and a goal.

Being Brave When In Your Emotions Face

When running along side tigers,
Be fast and swift.
Watch your step don't drift!
"Don't be scared of what you might see."

When facing an ugly monster,
Stand tall and show no fear,
Don't be scared when it approaches near
"But pray for your sons and your daughters."

When running through and emotions storm,
Don't stop to count the time.
Just push onward through the grime.
"Even when the water gets harder to tread."

"Because I can feel you all around me"
Trying to bind my mistakes to me like scars,
But from you to me there is a difference as wide as Mars.
Now let me go so I can stare at the stars...

I Am Bored With Music

Music blues I seem to have
Everything sounds the same.
I turn on the radio and
It just gives me pain.

Voices screaming identical
Kinds of beats
Pop songs blaring
All over the streets.

The average age now
has settled at thirteen
I can't understand
It's like a bad dream.

I long for the days
Of the gals with the soul
Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan
Their words made me whole.

Can we bring back some tunes
And singers with clout?
To write about real life
Sigh, I just doubt.

My Black and White World

Your soothing sounds bring me to my knees.
Its something that no one else sees.
My escape, are your black and white keys.

You have become my outlet for emotion.
My inspiration and devotion,
Helped keep me out of the negative commotion.

From your lowesr groan to your highest screams,
You helped shape my dreams.
And for that,
My world is my black and white keys.

Premium Member Ballads

Long lonely ballads sooth my soul,
recounting loves which ne’r grow old.
With tales of lives, of toil and strife
which linger on the sharpest notes.

Laments pining through the key of D.
Songs sung in dissonant harmony.
Scratching, haunting, riddles
Whispering on whistle or fiddle.

And, Oh the maudlin harmony
which makes us all weep free
to know that other people cried
lost their loves yet survived.

So let me slide on glissando
Between the notes with vibrato
Let me heal upon the wail
of ancient memories.

Soul Tunes:

The music that moves me is death core
Its the one genre of music in which I adore.

It moves my adrenaline and makes me feel alive
without it I wouldn't know how to survive.

I know it's different but I love it so.
I wish people wouldn't judge and give it a try ya know?

Music of speed and bass moves me.
And makes me feel loose and free.

I love to crank it up loud and dance around.
The music in itself produces a genuine sound.

I feel like it is my escape when things bare down.
when listening to it everything just seems to slowdown.

String me a Vivaldi
seasonal song,
Sing me a Mozart
opera..'ere the day long;
Fill my emotions
with Mahler's tears,
Soothe me with Satie
and banish my fears.

Into mine ears,make music please

Music Fixes Me

Headphones on and humming softly till I know each word
Some are good old friends and some are new ones I just heard

Into the wee hours we go on with this love affair
Or first thing upon waking I will find it waiting there

I am in love with music and I know most every song
Listening to classic rock and singing loud and strong

There are times when blues will take me where I want to be
Close my eyes and let it take me drifting out to sea

Not much of a head-banger but still I like a few
Ballads soothe my savage beast and comfort me it's true

Feeling country I'll put on my Martina or Tim
They don't know but I sing harmony with her and him

Oldies from the fifties make me float across the floor
Seventies and eighties gets me dancing even more

Never want to live without my music that's for sure
Whatever's ailing heart or mind,my music is the cure!

Premium Member For a Song

Upon his fingertip I sit,
I don't think I am the first.
I wasn't aware I was falling,
until I heard her soft curse.
For some reason, she let me go,
though I tried to hold on.
I thought she had more resolve,
than to shed me for a song.

.........( ( ( ( (........

a singer performing country score

dropped false teeth bouncing on stage floor

      though pelted with loud boos

      he continued his blues...

as big boss kicked his rear out the door

same singer was given one more chance

rehearsed a perfect song and dance

   by middle of refrain

his shoe knocked a plain Jane...

who gave him naughty, come-on glance

730 Miles To New York City

2060 to L.A.
But it is just 280 miles to Nashville, Tennessee
Where I can see the country stars of the Grand Ol' Opry
Like Faith, Alan, Tim and Toby

I have gone mostly country
But I don't wear those boots
I have gone mostly country
My blonde hair is showing its roots
Gone country...There I go

I never really liked Madonna
I tried to Vouge
But I hurt myself
Not much for punk
But I love the Ramones

My bedroom wall was covered
Mom never needed to wallpaper
Floor and ceiling with the faces
Of 80's rock and roll

Poison made me want to talk dirty
Winger, I was only seventeen, but didn't care
Skid Row said I was a youth gone wild
And Bon Jovi said I gave love a bad name

Don't get me wrong
I still melt
When Jon Bon Jovi flashes that smile
And sings me his song

But when Toby Keith asks me who's your daddy (OH baby!)
Make me think naughty thoughts
And makes me have a evil grin
Makes me want to lay my hands on him
Sorry, I guess I am torn

They both make my mouth drool
But I am no fool
I may love country
But my first love
Comes from New Jersey

Dear John

Loving the song "your song" Mr. Elton John
because "Dear John" you're lyrics are wildly precious to me
following me from
grade school
when I first learned music could make me feel
and had the ability
to transform my emotions from happy to sad...

loved the part "it's a little bit funny,...the feeling inside...."
and I knew then that
"I was not one of those that could easily hide"...

I simply felt like that
that was my song
and I have Elton to thank
my own Dear John.
