Premium MemberMy Flannel Shirt

You standing there looking so innocent
       and sexy, biting your lip
Smiling so guile-y and your hair
Cascading around your face
Over your shoulders and styled by JBF
You standing a bit awkwardly your legs
      falling from my flannel shirt
And smooth as hell, your feet up on the balls
      as if in high heels
Flexing in anticipation and a devilish grin
With a "What me?" delectation
It's not a skirt it's my flannel shirt
And you with your post coital giggle
A splash of bawdy and a hint of naughty
      and looking muy caliente
With my eyes I take you in as you take
      my breath away

Premium Memberpompons

pimpernel on my thighs
eloquence and delectation
conversations with the wise
reveal to me which death i must die.

lily in the valley
bravery passion and determination
whatever has to be done
is a puzzling bird song

eyes lifted skyward past the sun
sensitive tranquil and confident
imagination manifests the role
your humanity learned to adore

suspended in the 'not' time
zeal energy and the wish fulfilled
feelings don't get shut down
nor are they the skin of a reticent sound

kissing the pompon undefined
foregoing forbearing sacrificial
the soul has no power in the self
until it is recognized by it

sunflowers begin a perfect day
poised energized and glowing
outside is all within
happiness is on the other side of fear

waterlilies basking in the moonlight
resplendent unobscured polished
dreaming up another dawn
reveals to me which death i must die.

Appeal to Poetry

We enjoy reading poems from the past.
They describe those ages, their horrors.
Should we regret delectation as we suck in,
and smile at, repugnance, misery, sadness?

Should we repel such poems of sorrow
choose only humour, gladness, joy?
So easily can we turn our backs on
misery that tortures so many.

So quickly may we lie on the ground,
punch it with clenched hands,
roar with our cries; or may we smile,
get up, forget what is so far behind us?

Adonai authors all,
anticipates all,
altruistically acts,
accomodating* acrimonious aliens,
allowing adoptive access.

Beloved bestows blessing,
begetting bliss,
birthing born-again believers.

Creator conveys
captivating covenental communiques;
creatures cogitate,
construct creedal confessions.

Divine drama,
documented,
drives doctrine,
develops delighted disciples
drinking deeply,
delivering doxologies.

Fire and Brimstone

FIRE AND BRIMSTONE

Whitened collar, fixedly starched
To the ultimate limits of self-perfection,
Points righteous, crooked finger
At an open-mouthed assembly,
Crouching beneath thick-
Eyebrowed gaze of a dark
Frock-coated scarecrow.

His cackling voice emits
Hollowed-out squawks,
Casting lines of invective
Like steel confetti
Into the ironic celebration
Of a judgemental wedding
For outsiders, condemned
Beyond the pale.

Heaven is expunged by murkiest haze of hell,
Begrimed in dark, closed-off shades,
A treacherous welcome for
Those who smear themselves
With so much intrigued slime of purest evil,
Cloaked with superior innocence
For the delightful delectation
Of ascetic, hair-shirted fools.

Winter

winds bluster deep within the sycamore
pulling memories from the strength
of time
as shattered leaves commence their fall

I watch, helplessly/hopelessly
sheltered behind smudged glass
barren as each side thins
looking out at what once was looking in

climbing that sycamore
in all her splendor
rich and full of life

high was I

cherishing the delectation
of a grand blue sky

hushed in amazement
along with the honey bee
flapping magic in her wings
oh my, how graceful was thee

swaying but still
still it always will

•

there's a crackle to the east
the winds bluster again
darkness knocks
I close my eyes and try to remember
the scent of happiness
slowly drifting far far away

Delectation

Professing my love for you with recognition

giving your heart a knead

thanking you for kindness in return amission

taking you in with speed

equanimity revels in my passionate quest

meeting my needs to charm

allowing me to notice romance fully with zest

proximity was far beyond the reach

 	of closure departure
		     destination settlement

immediacy suspended a hung sky

	in longitude perspectives
	                 equations riddles

requests gripped the claws in vain

	from suffering attachment
			    torture stranglehold

distance called upon commotion

	in puzzlement surrender
		           gratitude belief

restitution bridged the gaping hole

	for restitution destiny
			   awareness harmony

as the horizon tilted into meaning

	contradicted stagnant apprehension

            	a canopy of scintillating comfort

crowned her roots with wings to fly

	in liberation acceptance
		        tranquility balance

tarred feathers oozed in the sun

skin healed the scars of separation

	wounds closed outskirts of despair

outposts became internal delectation

as life reached out and one path closed opened up the journey ...

Delectation
By: Miracle Man
12-15-2019

When making Shrimp Alfredo,
I feel delectation.
Its aroma never fails,
in starting juices to flow.
The quantity is usually,
for a two day ration.
Even Alfredo leftovers,
give me an afterglow.

Premium Memberhush -

I am here,
attentive ... adoring
a kiss, my single talisman
pleasing you, my only delectation
there is a warm autumn eve that whispers
daubed softly by a waxing gibbous -
a beach, bleached blue by its bleeding beams
what say you ...
will you dance with me
in the darkened dream that waits?
it saves its breath
for one tender song ...
of love.
