Premium Memberthe bee to become

I'll be free to kind-ness of daisies
gently trembling through the void,
and the softness of held hands
which are offering raisins,
without a trick of quicksand.
There's seeds that has a need
of watering & the showering,
Grows into roses with its thorns
defense mechanism vulnerability
can be sweet and leave you torn.
A mother cradles her newborn
and will show her teeth
if you interrupt her breath
into her child's new lungs,
and a simple harmony sang
She's now a bee to become....

Defense Mechanism

Wall goes quickly up,
Shielding fragile inner self,
Safety sought within.

Flawed Characteristics

Misunderstanding life lessons
striving to be all we can be
hoping to change another
wishing for close bonds
fearing being alone
thinking money the solution
expecting acceptance from all
searching outside of self for answers
using excuses to avoid accountability
avoiding healing to keep codependencies
focusing on others life to avoid own
blaming to justify actions
projecting pain as a defense mechanism
diminishing self for comfortability
agreeing to avoid conflict or enemies
missing unconditional love never experienced..

Life is within, but without outside experiences, personal development
for perseverance, resilience, and character can't be shaped;
love, acceptance and validation are within so you won't go without.

Premium MemberNew Beginnings

I have forgotten how to feel;
With each punch even more damage done;
The moments I should remember slowly fade;
Defense mechanism for the ones
who love too much;
Possessing the heart of a champion
battle worn with emotional amnesia;

Emotions erupt with pain
and become embers of an internal fire;
Gaping wounds delay my response;
Muffling every instinct
numb to the warmth of sentiment;

Trying to give happiness
the benefit of the doubt
I enter the ring;
Beaten over and over
barely making it out;
Left bloody;
I have forgotten how to feel
breathing through the pain;
Still my champion’s heart beats;
Determined;

Demanding I remember
the giddy of happily ever after
and the promise of new beginnings.

Recurrent Sneezing Fit By Ma Chew Too

This thick mucous essentially
the defense mechanism of a healthy
body electric to restore biz zee nose
as usual, which for this mild mannered
liberal leitmotif from the chronicle of one
matted nattering nabob of nativity attests
congested mob functioning like
a well lubricated machine, yet
for the life of me, nary a handy dandy
blues clues evident as per, how
the human entity empowered
to steamroll over
any reasonably annoying bugaboo.

Ah, now if only a similar innate
defense mechanism arose
within the mental health,
that would be a supreme testament
to thine atheistic tasty mints of miracles
minus the attendant pharmacopeia
of this, that or some other drug to aright
skewered psyche (of this contemplative,
emotive and intuitive literate outlier),
whose sixty two plus eight shades
of gray matter went awry and skewed
toward tipping point (to cope with ordinary
cares and concerns of an uncertain
whirled wide web) found the bulk
of his life riddled with a joe king,
gun slinging tub back ha chew win,
bard **** wordsmith,
who doth newt like to utter any
cryptographic crossword.

Every Minute Palpitation In Covid War

Agreeable Dawn for a
  In though a blade
     No other goal .... "Go just bounce around"
       Every clump made me haggle with fate
Twinkle in my lips at the end of walk
  My magnifiers fall on the bumblebee on Hawkweed
     Which throw me to notion of stubborn ethnic group
          In COVID war alike poison of weed unnoticed by bee
Like a halfwit mad ,took the pretty from plant
  Felt a pricky near my collar
     Just gave a Pat and back to force
       Clock had done it's work many times
         Just a blink to me
Felt something hitchy
  Heard the
    Every lively throb broke a hailstrome in my skull
      Felt hacksaw in my abdomen
Index of my heart gone blanch
   Weaping from my throat surrounded the virus
   No more blaze just pain
    My magnifiers turned to the quarantine bed
Striked a mirth in my lips
    Bled raised on my neck
         Blaze in eyes ,no more
        Just a halter of bumble bee
My defense mechanism showed over perfection
   Inoculation of fright flight dominator
      CAN MAKE ME ALRIGHT

Self Destructive Self-Defense Mechanism

Gorging upon self-indulgence
while your soul lies starving in the corner
Dissociatively liberated from consequence
as the host endures accountability

Psychotically clinging to a desirable fiction
(an accessible and depraved fantasy)
and basking in its soothing narratives
whenever the tangible becomes inconvenient

Dipping sporadically into a permeable
realm of artificial favorability
Detaching yourself from that which exists
to experience that which is merely theoretical

Premium MemberHeart of Stone- Wake Up My Heart

I was used and abused
my heart was trampled on.
So as a defense mechanism,
It became cold as ice,
and hard as a rock.
I didn't allow love to get near it,
that was until you came,
and caught me off guard.
You were relentless in your
pursuit of me, I had no choice,
but to surrender to your love.
You made my icy heart melt,
my heart of stone became flesh.
You know what you did my love?
you WOKE UP MY HEART.

Pearl, For People Enduring Inescapable Pain

For people enduring inescapable pain, especially for my husband

"Pearls are formed inside the shell of certain mollusks as a defense mechanism against a potentially threatening irritant such as a parasite inside the shell, or an attack from outside that injures the mantle tissue." (Wiki..)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearl

A shell endures pain for a long time, and produce a beautiful peal.

Peals are very precious in the Bible. The merchant of the Bible sells everything to buy a pearl.

You are so precious and so beautiful because I know you have been suffering and enduring for a long time. You still have much pain which you cannot escape from. I can't stop crying, because I can't do anything for you.

You are physically weaker but more kind and understanding than before. You can feel for people's weakness more than before. You know how to comfort me and others. That is the real strength not everyone can obtain.

I know one day your pain will go.This is the hope we are waiting for.

Closer

I live with my words,
It’s a defense mechanism.
A coping strategy,
Like a good mannerism.
These expressive views,
Never go out of style.
I can scream thoughts
They run for a mile.
Close to certainty
Not to perfection
But my crazy words
Are close to a million…

Faith Move's Mountain

Falling does not mean you failed
Accept failure and do wonders out of it
Innovation is enhance by failure
Time spent idling gives way to failure
Heed the adage“no pain no gain”

Mental strength is a key to unlock potential
Open-minded is a shield to defense mechanism
Victory is within reach to those believing in themselves
Ecstasy they get from taking one step forward and-
Steadily moving towards realization of their mission

Meditating about your mission’s outcome is essential
Onward is the only direction kwon to fighters
Unfetter yourself from the fear of failure
Nurture your abilities and don’t learn upon your understanding only
Turn to God for support and guidance
Ambitions are futile when God is not part of them
Imagine yourself leaving your dream now
Never ever doubt your capabilities
See beyond your reaches and believe

Premium MemberSlow and Steady Wins the Race

Stranded on the road, closed up tight in her shell
Too frightened to head out of the heavy traffic
I took the turtle home to make sure all was well.
 She was hungry for she hadn’t eaten since a day
So I dug up four juicy earthworms and put in a bin
The first worm wiggled but the turtle didn’t prey.
We sat quietly and waited and waited and waited
Ants crawled across the pavement and we waited
Hummingbirds buzzed overhead and we waited.
Finally I noticed her eyes tracking a worm,
Slowly shifting her body in right direction
Snapped opened her jaws, picked up the worm
And gummed it to death as turtles lack teeth.
Was full after two worms, a bit in mouth like a cigar
Autism in turtles is a successful failure
Its shell, an amazing self-defense mechanism
Carry their homes and are always at home
Self sufficient mostly, long life, and endurance
Proving the proverb, “Slow and steady wins the race”.

Premium MemberPutrid Road Kill

I now know how Loudon Wainwright III was inspired.
What happened to me was what I never desired.
I have to consider this one of my darker episodes.
Nocturnal creatures called skunks often cross the roads.
They have a defense mechanism that keeps predators away.
To describe what it is, I don’t need much to say.
Driving on the road, I could not stop in time.
That animal produced a scent that nobody calls sublime.
The unfortunate black creature became another road kill.
The smell emitted by the carcass remains there still.

Forgive

I saw you the other day we didnt speak
Thinking to myself how did we become this way
And remembered the times we had
Our first kiss I remember
I was drunk but I sobered up
Realizing I was feeling outta place
I looked at you
Though it took me a minute to see
Your the only one I want
I only wanna make it good
For both me and you
So please forgive
If I pull away from you
It's a defense mechanism
I know not of what I do
Please forgive me if I want you like I do
