All Christians live with fervent hope
That they would see their Lord appear,
This is the hope that buoys their soul
Amid the toils and cares of life.
But then they die before that time,
therefore, it seems they hoped in vain.
Death seems to be the hope-dasher
of Christians dear, in every age.
The skeptics point to this and say,
ages ago, Christ was to come
an absentee, he seems to be
All things exist as they have been.
But truth be told, all Christians live
the good life promised by their Lord
They then lie down and fall asleep
oblivious of the state of death.
The flight of time they know not of,
be it days or thousands of years.
When Jesus comes, and they are raised
for them ‘twill be just a new day.
There is no disappointed hope,
for those who in Christ do believe.
Their lives are held in secure arms
For Christ has sealed their destiny.
O dreaded death, where is your sting?
O grave, where is your victory?
Christ mocked you when He rose again
breaking the portals of the tomb.
Soon the trumpet of God will sound,
And all the dead in Christ shall rise
to meet their Savior in the air
and with Him joy celestial share.
Time meanders, drifts idle in the midst.
Sinuous it undulates so not to stagnate.
One breath at a time, barely survives.

At last a defeated ego and pride in conclusion.
Subconscious to the surface.
Misconstrued ultimatum.
Exhausted reluctance.
Released defeat.
A defeated ego and pride in conclusion.
Ignorance is bliss ending in piercing silence.
A defeated ego and pride in conclusion.
Strength miscalculated.
the despair.
that exact moment.
At last a defeated ego and pride in conclusion.
Finally truth brings freedom
Jesus you defeated death
we are saved because of you Jesus your name is great I know I trust in you
Washed by your blood I am chosen by You Lord
Set apart since birth you made me for your Kingdom
Love is deep inside me your Spirit Lord lives in me now
Changed over night on New years inspired by Her Rejection of Me He did not reject me
Jesus you embraced me though I was broken far from perfect and you Love me
Save us all Lord and You tell me it is finished
Calm the storm and you tell me it is over
Thank you Jesus for everything you have done for me and for us all
I was so afraid before now I have no fear any more
I was so worried about sinning and making mistakes then you told me you Love me
now I have no more fear and I trust In you Jesus
Death where is your sting where is your victory death now that he is risen?
I dream now of peaceful dreams of a kingdom with a King of Kings
Jesus you are worthy of all glory and all crowns all power all authority
Jesus I love her still now I love them all everyone is your child even if they can not see it
Jesus thank you Praise you Jesus forever Amen

Prayer When Defeated
Oh Father God, I am defeated
My goal is disgruntled
My honor is dismantled
Oh Jesus Christ, I am defeated
Triumphant are those who I dread
That's why I am full of hatred
Oh Holy Spirit, I am defeated
I have fallen to my knees
Raise me up again please!

*My Prayer Poems Collection
People of demise, with an undeserved fate, like a defeated dream,
With dead dinosaurs, my eternity embroidered by extended time.
May new beings be born from the manure of life, all at once,
Identifiable in the ecology of the world, sometimes alive-alive.
The emotion of the sun, an immense mirror in which we lose ourselves,
I, the animalistic poet, reflecting God in verses that burn.
Blinding us in all things, our gazes are strange shards,
My words deceitful, vinous, full of bubble-poems, oceans.
Feeding hungry thoughts, wrapped in vain hopes,
For I have died formally, before my time, in empty days.
To the venal criminals, secretly scolding life's partners,
Covering the sunken graves under the impenetrable rain.
Under the rain's immensity, measurable, we catch ourselves in a dance,
The supposed heroes, pure sources of lightning, with pale color,
Bringing from the horizon the languid light, the extinguished dusk,
The humanity in me and in him, balancing the dawns in dreams.
Beloved, the night tilts the balance of dawns that intoxicate us,
In the paradox of life, where light and darkness get drunk.
Death Defeated
The tomb could not hold Him
Death is defeated
The promise of new life is fulfilled
I have loved and lost and watched myself turn evil with nothing to gain yet still remain.
The stake was powerful
The audience were cheerful
The atmosphere was tight
Both fighters were ready to fight
Leo looked into past glories
So many titles and sweet stories
He became eager and curious
Winning again was damned obvious
He laughed and stepped into the ring
And charged like the Lion King
The fight stay on round upon round
And on the fifth he fell to the ground
He tries to stand but fell again
He struggles and cried in pain
He could not believe he lost the battle
Nor believe someone got the mantle
A destroyer O Death ye thyself call,
Mere toy, no less, art thou to Destiny,
It's Time O that in time devours us all,
It’s cosmic scheme, call thee no Almighty.
And O Poor Death, those that ye think ye kill
Never art slain, live on god given grace,
In slumber they get blest, it’s not thy will,
They just shop to get new life, newer dress.
Not just toy, slave thou art to divine will,
No more than a trigger in hands of Fate,
To its design art thou called ‘pon to deal,
Dire sceptre ye wield, but at whose dictate?
Ye well know that soul lives eternal life,
Flesh alone dies, in vain doth bleed thy knife.

You had things wrecked with your Nope
And I could no longer cope:
I, who had the cleanest hope
Of conquering Rugged Slope,
Soon slacking for what I lacked
That your could give but out backed;
Showing how words strong zeal crack
And down the sound idea hack...
My defeat was your "Loud Nope",
Running a school fought with rope:
Twenty years ago you did
And a Praised Talent was hid;
Presently A Mad Idea
Poetry I face Top Gear
The day The Eagle is defeated
The incident shall be repeated:
All transmitting stations televise it,
The rarely praised tongues loosen in wit!
Born - to - Rule Valiant of All Seasons
To be lambasted for four reasons:
Who had off switched its amazing wings
Or had God said "it's time to spoil things"?
What had it done to matchless vision
Begun to things sights in division?
Could Mortifying Beak go on strikes,
Suddenly curve less because this likes?
What can have happened to stunning speed:
Rehearsals ended that would it feed?
The day The Eagle is Defeated
Furnace of 'Why' shall be reheated.
The Remotest cause solicited
The sweetened truth not prohibited.
The Election result is a kill-joy
And has a man made a boy:
A result so blunt I’m trying ketamine;
That should my recovery determine
My BP should’ve been key issue
And its treatment a Toilet Tissue …
A woman has captured my capital
And what’s next if not Hospital?
The whole stuff taken to any doorstep
And claiming to have watched my every step …
My eyes have been fed humbling scores,
Another shutting of my political doors
An angering spread sheet on my lap
Underscoring my defeat by a gap.
And I swear animals what these portend,
Birds to laugh if I do them contend …
Right now A chairwoman Elect!
And they wouldn’t me select.
Already, I can see her sky-scraping head gear
And celebratory fanfare in high gear
Artificial eye-lashes one can glimpse from hundred meters
And music-powering generator with hundred litres …
And guess I’m emigrating to Dakar
Or to far-off fourth Africa
Or perhaps nearer Niamey …
No eye-lashes wearer will chair me.
come on, open that door to face
what did you leave in the antechamber of your happiness
(I'm talking about the sad, chained lions roaring their nightmares
of the bloodthirsty watering that produced the fruits of illusion
of the black nights that drowned out the desperate cries
of those who didn't care to be exuberantly happy
while his brothers were swallowed by the murderous maw
of those who gorge themselves on the flesh of the innocent)
all these spilled cups for your disguised smile
that inflates and explodes in the egocentrism of an infinite space
(I'm talking about these empty tributes we pay
to the sadists who torture us with their inhumane successes
while we crawl on the slime ground of the defeated).

More than 2,000 years ago Satan, aka Diabolos, Lucifer, Lord of flies, and Devil, is defeated - for every believer in God, our Creator-Father-Savior. Hallelujah
II
How is Satan defeated when he unleashes foul, slave spirits in the world almost each new hour? When He was crucified, Jesus died, but in three days He resurrected. This means Jesus beat death. In this way, the inventor of death, Satan, was defeated. But he seems to exercise power yet? Explain that ...

Yes, defeated and sentenced to the bottomless pit of hell, Satan is. But the sentencing is a forensic, legal proceeding, yet to be followed by execution of the sentence concluded at Calvary (Jesus' victory on a Cross of unimaginable shame, pain, and humiliation).
