I don’t live life reminiscing my yesterdays,
for in shadows of yesterday, my blunders rest.
I’m thankful I've survived, and am giving God praise,
and that all my sleeping blunders have been confessed.

Oft times I have arrived at a fork in the road,
and I've found myself being defeated by pain.
From within myself I couldn't handle the load,
but there was a hell to shun and Heaven to gain.

God has done awesome things in my blessed lifetime,
my intent, don't worry, doubt, or give place to fear.
When He saved my soul I got a new paradigm,
and it’s to His teachings I will always adhere.

Premium Member A Pupil And A Teacher

Long ago, there was a student and a teacher,
They took vows to avoid carnal desire,
But they secretly longed to merge together.
Yet lived rest of their lives tending to a fire.

The teacher chose the pupil not out of favor,
But for the pupil's ability to perceive forever.
The pupil's natural gift to look into the aether
Mirrored the teacher's ability to see the future.

They lived together high up on a mountain
In a monastery with a magnificent fountain.
The pupil came to seek refuge from old pain,
So the teacher provided lessons and grain.

Over time, the teacher became enamored,
With how the pupil focused, never bored
Even by all the lessons they had repeated,
The pupil was never left feeling defeated.

The pupil's self-awareness, self-discipline
All improved to point of being without sin.
The pupil also felt more than just appreciation,
Indeed there was secret love and devotion.

But due to their vows, their love couldn't be,
They lived until they died and souls were free,
Lived a holy life philosophizing in harmony.
Now, it is a past time only the pupil can see.

The pupil became a seer of the distant past
Perceiving all of the patterns that always last.
While the teacher became a future worrier,
The pupil became an intense soothsayer.

In current times: they longed, they waited
For an ancient love that has made them fated
To be together, finally make love to each other,
They finally know the true meaning of forever.

Foolish Folly

Foolish folly in the house of putrid politics
Dirty deeds up their sleeves double-dealing tricks
Forgetting the homeless, ignoring the poor
Though staying between the lines of the law
Oh ! And the law, well that’s another story
One suggesting a lavish lavatory!
For the criminal not for the upstanding
Not for the meek though only demanding
Yes the pecking order is quite transparent
With suited criminals all apparent
Trickling down such bad behaviour
Praying to my only saviour-
Please help them to sow seeds of decency
Awaken the blind to the difference of recency
For this society unravels the very pits
When ruled by a bunch of moronic dimwits
With crime through the roof that hinders well-being
Many are silent with sickness from seeing
The defeated and shattered upon a tightrope
Without any justice-there is no hope!

the number of tricks they promised
                    tired in the literal sense
                the general sense in meaning

The Conquering Promised Seed

The Genesis of a Promised Seed
was and has always been a conflict.
Since primordial Eden and Eve,
between her grain against devil's trick.

His journey to the womb of Mary
is a testament of His sovereignty.
Bloodlines of imperfect humanity,
finely woven redemptive purity.

The night, a loving Father's hand
laid His Promised Seed to a manger.
Reaching the unlightened world,
yet rejected, spit upon and shattered.

The sundial in the Hands of the Almighty,
while He buries His Begotten selflessly.
The Omniscient One cast the Seed lovingly.
Yes He died, but soon He's risen victoriously.

Jesus, the Promised Seed of the Father
is now exalted, seated in heaven's Throne.
Though His heel was wounded with scar,
He trampled the devil's head, defeated and dethroned.

I Will Marry a Poet

Poet will use all it takes
To travel our works all over the world
Meeting poet celebrities with handshakes
The ones figurative words twirled
Monsters of us flowing lakes

Our works will run connections in water
Illuminating the littles fishes, escape route
From sharped eyes shark hunting freshwater
Calmly steady in its hangry pursuit
But, for grace, we set in as an arbiter

To quench the supposed fruitful fire
Burning to capture the sweet corn
And fry in belle's pot off any release desire
Hosting bile duct(s) at morn
Now, left with no choice than to retire

Poets transcend above anointing
Of been referred to pastors
For the unction is beyond appointing
One a specific role of facing disasters
But our pens touch lives pastors keep avoiding

With or without money
Time knows hatred
How sweet is honey
Whenever bliss coexisted
To keep blood runny

And avoid the sand
To bury all living dreams
We paint our future's brand
Of lasting awesome themes
Test of time will certainly withstand

Even making her some teases in irony
Birthed out of culture to check her paraliepsis
And lay her presence low to my scrutiny
To balance the unexpected result; an equation of antithesis

Her waist shall turn me around in hyperbole
Like no other would cooking up imagery
My soul's eyes view colossally
To dwell in her secretive aerie

Gladly will I toast words
The day I put on the way to the altar
And put off the doubt of timing birds
Which could rent my pen to halter
Then find in my pieces buzzwords

Oh! When she shall finally accept
Our loves been one, may err
And we shall not be affected
Then poet's love for her
Till the end of time will never be defeated

Holding You

I turn to you in dark of night
and hold you while you sleep.
Smelling of your hair and skin
I softly start to weep.

More than any dream I dreamed
an un- dreamed dream came true.
The day I looked into your eyes.
The day God gave me you.

Facing all my doubts and fears
and facing all my sorrow.
As I hope and sometimes pray
I'll still have you tomorrow.

It's not unhappy tears I cry
or some defeated attitude.
These tears that find your pillow
are tears of gratitude.

I listen in the still night air
to the rhythm of your heart.
Holding you holds me together
as I start to fall apart.

For all the places yet to see
where together one day we'll travel.
How can it be my love for you
still makes my heart unravel.

As I turn to you in dark of night
and hold you while you sleep.
Smelling of your hair and skin
I softly start to weep.

To Ponder the Bible and the Jew

God wrote his word into the minds of men through “revelation” without a flaw and in total truth.
The Bible is the inerrant word of God, unending wisdom, prophecy of perfectly accurate accounts of what is to come. Never wrong,
hidden events that only come out in God’s timeline and never fails. World event cast in stone.
The Jew, who have survived all the kingdoms that enslaved them and tried to erase them from history and now those kingdoms have recanted their power to the dust of time and I muse that Israel is the strongest country in the world due to the fact that the hand of God is on them.

They failed to recognize their Messiah and crucified him on the cross, thus losing the chance to transfer salvation to the gentile world. God instead chose a “Jesus hating” Jew and converted him as he traveled on the road to Damascus. Soul of Tarsus, who later became known as Paul, brought the Gospel of Grace by Faith in the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to all men.
The Bible says that the Jew will be a stumbling stone. God said that he would curse them that curse Israel, and bless them that bless Israel. The Jew have blessed the world through their intellect in the fields of medicine and technology but more important for the Gentil they brought him salvation through Jesus Christ. The Jew for whom God said that he would make the desert bloom again and Israel grows some of the best produce in the world.
The Jew, if not for one man would have lost their language, retained it and it is spoken today.

Israel belongs to God and Jerusalem is God’s city. Israel will never be defeated as a nation. The Jew is a witness for creation and God has revealed himself through them and the Holy Bible. God will deal with the nation of Israel after the rapture of the church.

I ponder on this and marvel at such a tiny country, so prominent in the Bible is so prominent today. A country about the size of New Jersey and surrounded by her enemies. It defies logic. What other country so small, could stand up to such hate and why such hate. Only Israel and Bible truth can be the answer.

Premium Member His Blood Flowed Down

He stood before the soldiers,
a king draped in royal purple.
          He was crowned
with a circlet of thorns woven together,
and pressed into His brow:
Sharp, piercing, cruel thorns.
And His blood
                 flowed
                        down.
Mocking soldiers played their part well.
Bowing low with sneering faces
then rising up with wooden staff
           they struck Him,
over and over and over again.
The king said not a word.
They spat on Him and laughed.
The king remained silent.
No condemnation escaped His battered lips.

He was brought before His subjects,
beaten, bruised, but not broken.
            Not defeated.
Crucify Him! Crucify Him!,
His subjects shouted as they rejected Him.
So He was stripped of His robe,
nailed to a crude wooden cross,
where His blood
                    flowed
                           down.
"Father, forgive them!", He cried.
"They don't know what they are doing."
They didn't know who He was.
They didn't know that He had come
to teach them the path to God.
They didn't know that it was for their sin
           He was dying.
They didn't know that He was the one
                 they had been waiting for:
                 their Messiah, Deliverer, King.
They didn't know how much He loved them
                     as His blood
                                    flowed
                                           down.
