When the Daystar Shines

Morning breaks in upon my bed
welcome thoughts stir this sleepy head
banishing fear, dismissing dread.

Summoning sparkles in my eyes,
on waking up, daybreak supplies
hope-filled words, "Look to the skies!"
And I thank Jesus as I rise.

He hears the prayers I pray each night.
My Savior dawns with strength and light.
I love you Lord with all my might;
I trust you, God and your insight.

Dream peep of early gold rim halo 
August riser gleeful in exalted chant
Yield to dulcet chirp from ornate winger
Sunburst orange red splash of heaven
Taunt and tease ocean blue mist eyes 
Amber warm rays dazzle pearl clad beach
Revere the hue-rich magic spectra veil

Designed by glow world spirit apt 
Aligning deft nirvana enigmatic
You’ll embrace a stunning touchstone 
Strewn amid solid  crystal bounty
Traipsing vivid emerald paths ahead
Amazed by wondrous vista woven
Redolent of chalk mark visual rife

Dabble in the morn’s first usher
Archway to vibrant wakener within
Yen for ample stimulus astride 
Sensory luxuriance devoid of match
Tangled web surfeit found epic 
Aching surge of tinted aspect
Rhythmic ripples on beaded brow

Do you ever wish upon a star?
Always in search of cornucopia
You could not forget a wish like that
So it is always worth wishing on stars
To bring home joy , pleasure and play
And hoping you will hit the right arena
Right where your glorious dream will land

Devotional devotees dazzlingly delight
At an amazing aurora’s star of abiding light;
You’re yawl-like year-round of Yahweh’s areole-sight,
Starlight of sunshine, starlight in splendid night,
Twinkling tirelessly ‘til the thickest tip of twilight; 
Ardent acclamations in our hearts arise…alight,
Reuniting us in rejoicing with reverence in thy rite!

Daystar

Downfall of Lucifer from heaven having sinned
Against God or is it the planet Venus at dawn,
Yesteryear’s mythology or today’s scientific fact?
Story of man is made up of myths and folklores
Tainted with superstitious shenanigans and mumbo jumbo
Attributing natural phenomenal events to acts of gods
Racing against the coming onslaught of Kaliyuga.

Dream-like is she, gleaming softly 
     through gauze of faded moon
Auroral her flame imbued with wings so 
     regal
Yellowing sky's revue through wisps 
     of haloed dew--
Somehow, she guides me through 
     deep prayer,
To exalt her for baptism of new
     awakenings, promises made holy
 And  how she , Dawn, unveils what is
        pure in  my  sacred world
Reflecting her timeless morn...
       angel of first sun, daystar!

Daystar

Daystar is a poetic word for the sun,
And also another word for the morning star; when
Yellow shines in the sky at sunrise and sunset, with
Spiritual glow to impart and to comfort us.
The eye of heaven, it is said to be, or perhaps just
A planet called Venus;
Radiating like a lamp to light our way on Earth.

Desolate life wanders in wanton wasteland in the dark
Assigned path for me I no longer can find, search in vain
Yearn with devout dedication God’s benevolent light
Seek its shine on me with the glow of His thousand suns
Transform at night into the shimmering star to guide me
Awakened by His gracious kindness I find way inward
Recognize in soul a lotus bloom with the sheen of His star

D   Daystar from on high, visit us this day;
A   arise within us for your Spirit is truth.
Y   You are the Light which saves us from deception
S   so we may serve YOU without fear, without pride.
T   Teach us to act with grace, forgiveness and mercy
A   as You shine through us to all who walk in darkness.
R   Righteous Redeemer, reveal your path to peace.

DAYSTAR

Delighting in the Lord God Who illumines by His truth daily
Assured heart of mine indeed thanks His gracious approval
Yearning for His sweet presence while to the Holy Spirit yielding
Seeking His favorable approval as He wisely directs my steps
Triumphantly toward His victorious purpose, always trustworthy
Affirming His forgiveness that sanctifies against vain arrogance
Reviving me, since He's the day star*, light bringer of my redemption.  

*2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.

Amethyst gem of lavender love in heart
Yellow smile running miles in my mind
Sun rises in your eyes beautiful kind
Turquoise thoughts of tender teal touch
Amber kiss from the sweetest lips of love
Red reverie flying me to day star like dove

D…day dawns in shimmering light.
A…across the skies, sunbeams appear bright.
Y…yellow gold is sprinkled in the East.
S…sun arrives in regal grace as the High priest.
T…tranquil is the morning, assuring a beautiful day.
A…angelic blessings coming on our way.
R…radiant sunshine dispels all trace of gloom!

 Amazing to see you shining
 Yes, I am grateful to see the
 Stars, the souls of our lost ones
 Touching us with tenderness~
 Above, where we all will bright
