Dare to dream all things, mild to mighty,
Yielding to no artificial bounds!
You’re the one who gives meaning to them.
Others claim how foolish it all sounds.
Life sometimes hangs heavy on your dreams,
Tarnishing bright ideas with “rust.”
Keeping their flickering flames alive
Takes vision, courage, will, and self-trust.
Believe in lofty ideals, and
Don’t be trapped in your life, day-to-day.
Steady work on your dreams makes them real
And will keep them from fading away.
As the evening was turning to night
The sun had already set
10:00 pm being time to sleep
There was no counting of sheep
My eyes began to get heavy
Trying to fight it
Sandman won
A dream started the stage
It was totally amazed
Through the illusion
Survival or Death in the air
Turbulence quarters
Danger and warning surrounding
I was aboard a passenger plane
Why I was on the plane will remain
Unknown destination
We encountered a violent storm
Pouring rain and flashes of lightning with Thunder
The plane tries to go above
Then drops
The plane started to shake
The Captain announced “BUCKLE UP”
Suddenly the plane did a nose dive in a quick motion
I remember seeing an ocean
It was faster and faster
Immediately, the plane got back up in the air
Suddenly I woke up from the dream
I survived
Dream of reality
The possibilities
Against all odds
Nightmare
Troubled mind

Eyes close, head on downy pillow
Safe to fly to fantastic lands of light
A dream weave with moon rays bright
Will take you to a place of golden glow
If you dare to dream at midnight
Those who dream reach a marvelous height
To capture sweet essence before sunrise halo
Dare to remember your dream in the morning light
Heavenly mist of fantasies alike
Enveloped in a shroud of wonder
The glorious culmination of deep desire
Void of pragmatic, logical gradation
Allow illustrious visions to transpire

As I dare to dream
A full-time fantasy.
A wonderful wet dream.
Perfect aspirations of a single wish,
to start each day
with but a taste of your lips.
I dare not go further beyond perfect bliss.
As my desires demand more of what I wish.
If I could wrap myself around you,
I would be content as your skin.
Caressing the surface of your softness.
Loving the pleasure of our warm embrace.
I’m lost in love and taken to another place.
Paradise is you and I,
where ever we are,
there’s no one in the whole world but us.
As I dare to dream,
I’ve never been to heaven.
Instead, I spent the night
making love with you.

Crimson streaks
highlight the sky
A calmness soothes
my lovesick eye
In silent stream
reflection's seen
Your golden hair
frames smile serene
I sigh and say
Awake, my heart

a new dawn starts

It's all that we have
We hope for acceptance
Equality, freedom... peace
We must learn to love one another
Our differences make us whole
I’ve been alone for a long time
But honestly, I’m not lonely
I’ve always been independent
And I’ve been content with that
But it doesn’t seem like enough anymore
My heart keeps searching for something
I had completely shut the door on love
Having been broken beyond repair
Yet my heart yearns to start beating again
To connect to something once more
It’s searching for the missing pieces
But I don’t know where to look
It’s scary to take the first step
With all the destruction in my wake
How do you learn to breathe again
When you feel like you’re suffocating
How do you learn to dance again
When the music was stripped from your soul
Do I even dare to dream
That I can be whole once more
Dare to dream, even when life seems to be
One big scheme
Keep reaching for the stars
Never think its too far
When people try to bring you down
Never hold your head to the ground
But keep reaching for those dreams
Even if it is hard to believe
Still dare to dream
I dare to dream!
With all the horrors in the world,
The hatred there has been,
Where tolerance is very rare,
Still I dare to dream!
A common cause, a joining hands,
A sharing I have seen,
When man will love his fellow man,
Because I dare to dream!
Shock, revulsion, dreadfulness,
Evils yet unseen,
A river of tears still to flow,
And still I dare to dream!
Togetherness will win the day,
Bring an end to the selfish scheme,
Man, once lost, will find a way,
When the many dare to dream!
Dare to dream
See beyond the limitation
Of useless legs, fasten them with care.
Join your heroes in Olympic wear.
Nothing beats imagination.
Dare to dream
Dare to dream
See yourself in winning gold,
With your multi-coloured wheelchair.
For once revel in the crowd's stare,
Where surprise in eyes unfold.
Dare to dream.
Dare to dream
I don't see my able self restrained
My future shines perhaps less brighter light
But I never will go down without a fight
I am proud, aware, well-trained
Dare to dream
I close my eyes and let me
Allow myself to see
What might not even be
Because my dreams are free

Shutters they hide your eyes
Laughter, a distant song
Gone is the beguiling grin
How is it possible, yet we knew all along
There was no escape, heaven couldn't last
Caution to the wind, angels flying past
Whispered "Dare to dream"
Lovers don't choose, they only feel
Ensnared or enchanted
They sing and dance, then weep
To win, to lose, it's all the same
Curse fate to hell, shielded in love's name
Left to die, hearts awaken at last
Defying dead desires, angels flying past
Shouting "Dare to dream!"
Tired greys transformed electric blue
Hearts beating fast push fire through veins
Purple hazed with need, reluctant
But dazed by sudden greed
Tempting touches, violence tamed
Shredding at perfect beauty braved
Bodies melded, witness the innocence craved
Love denied, mourn the cost
Wrap me in anguish
At least I know what it is I lost
Cancel the celebration, then rejoice
Grief has no color
If love was not the choice
Heal my heart with tears of blue and green
Lifted on angels wings
I Dared to Dream.
What would you do if you knew you can't fail?
How vastly each ocean of life would you sail?
So many places and things to be seen
limited only by daring to dream.
What reasons could be of the things we conceive
that they're not the very same things we achieve?
Know that you can, though some say you shouldn't.
No fear that you'd fail till you thought that you couldn't!
Funny the choices in life that we make.
We err on the side that is cautious and safe.
All the while dreaming where we'd rather be,
searching for something that makes us feel free.
How many chances have passed when you could've,
only to find yourself wishing you would've?
The delusion of youth is that time's on your side
but nobody knows just how long we ride.
