Cry Freedom
Not many Americans know the world is not looking westward they see the fall of the value
they see the poverty of the suffering people who die of curable illnesses because they can’t pay the cost and might sell their house to cover
of capitalistic health service, but let’s put that aside what Trump said about World War 2
It was Russia who won the Nazi war, albeit with
help from the USA; was also Russian soldiers who freed the prisoners in concentration camps
and oversaw the fall of Berlin
For America, it was a profitable war, Europa had
no industry left and got generous loans to start to rebuild a shattered economy
America’s real war was in the Pacific a colonial war against Japan who had taken Indochina which was America’s playground
the US won that war by dropping two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, this caused total surrender and the US was back ruling over Indochina
America as we can see today, was bad rulers
the elevated cruel dictators to rule whose only qualification was obedience to America
Today Indochina is in Bricks and free from the US influence

LOVE BLINDNESS
By Tapiwa N. Maseko
It is really true
That love is blind
Because there is no clue
Used to bind
Two hearts and not three
Into one good bond
That makes the most eluded
To be the most wanted
The one with defect
To look so perfect
Yes there is no clue, rather than blindness
Of great love
Something peculiar with the defect
Sometimes it does not have eternal impact
The defect is understandable
Because in some cases it is curable
When your blindness halts
When your love evaporates
It is the time to regret
The choice for you did opt
When the love from your heart vanishes
All the feelings turn into ashes
Like they are in burning furnace
From your lover’s face
No more you see beauty flashes
But the scars
That your heart deters

One foot by one foot
by six foot deep
the chemical waste
of a money pit
broke her parents
on the cost of health
one foot wide
one foot long
and six foot deep
A hundred nights of over time
a thousand tears of hope
reassurance spilled by garbage
with so many pretentious prognostics
gave her this
the cure within reach
and side effects may outweigh
all the potential benefits
One foot wide
and six feet deep
one foot long
in the chemical pit
broke her parents
for the price of health
for two years old
and meet the doctors bill
A medical inconsistency
and it’s death by radiology
life by sickness
incurable
curable
a promissory note
an I.O.U
glued to her tombstone
One foot by one foot
and six foot deep
and death by arrogance
death by a pin prick
and death in the end
by the ego
of so many doctors

Ignorance begets ill choices,
Going against your inner voices,
Not realizing what lies ahead,
Only create being hopeless instead,
Reduce the sum of a valued life,
An unsure find leads to further strife,
Now in the dark as you contemplate,
Causes that be, made you in this state,
Exact your life towards a remake,
Carry hope, that it be a mistake,
Aggressive tumors is malignant,
Use the time to further the treatment,
Stay with the course to better oneself,
Engage your mind to a better health,
Caught in time, it can be curable,
Anyone, helps make it bearable,
Notable survival rates goes up,
Close family, friends, --none? get a pup,
Entertain the thought of going home,
Remission, hope's gift that is welcomed.

Relativism is the new absolutism, and CONDEMNATION of evils is being Forsaken. We are losing REVERENCE for God, and our sacred story must be Reawakened. I fear a generation enameled with a PREDILECTION bent on Entitlements. We are ENCOMPASSED with Entertainment and social media Engagements. We are too lost in a secular Wilderness to be concerned with UNEARTHTLINESS. Though curable, APATHY* is one disease that is far-reaching and Sleepy-eyed. CONSTERNATION causes acquiescence, but 'the few' will turn the Tide.

I'd like to think of her as a bible,
One undeniably within reach.
Free to the touch, the embrace of saving myself well, from myself.
Hearing myself in a way not thought possible.
I Convenient to the word she speaks.
The tenderness of realizing that the next moment is not promised.
Though I rejoice in taking the next moment as a promise.
Knowing that if I shall close my eyes and tomorrow never comes.
That I'll be present wherever she is.
Understanding that the beauty of her is not easily obtained.
The excitement of sitting in silence.
Allowing her to probe my mind.
To heal the aches not easily curable by anything other.
The taste of palm to cover.
To be remade by a higher power.
The miracle of knowing.
The metaphorical essence of innocence

I do good to people ,
They are lucky and able,
All I do is saving in verbal,
That your word is curable.
The only ways I talk are clean,
There are other non pleasing,
Am I human enough to be seen,
I'm never eager to the opening.
Look at how you see things,
You see tomorrow and future,
Do we live for atire halks,
Am wondering how you appear.
Some nights am awake,
Scared of what I think ,
Can something hurt me,
I know you are there I stick.

Injection to let you fly through the air,
Nobody to look at you or downwards stare.
Bottle, a liquid to change hair colour to a permanent shade,
Just the right amount for your own liking, not to fade.
And a tablet for skin colour, again any colour,
Most teenagers go for purple so as to tower.
Laser zap with ease eradicates your cancer flare,
Completely curable now, without radiation’s glare.
No MND, MD or dwarfism abound,
With genetic editing there’s a muscular sound.
Only problem is kids want to design on their iPads,
Their future kids, but the law says that the natural adds.
We’re working on building the robotic-man assistant,
For the home where parents are not ambivalent.

Why Crippled America?
Any presidential nominee thus far,
Anyone ever in long history’s past,
Could’ve called America crippled,
A high look upon disability to cast.
Disability is now curable sometimes,
And healthcare stands sturdily tall,
As a nation’s proudest profession,
As our greatest step and tribal call.
So the analogy to disability power,
The relationship of doctor/patient,
Could be used by any great politician,
To explain his policies and argument.
But I believe that any candidate knows,
To deliberately dismiss this slogan,
To in determination bypass disability,
As a succinct method of explanation.
It’s what goes to make a man great,
A politician tick and get it right,
A women see the good and justice,
Of the Syrian migrant’s plight.
So Trump should be sued, slammed,
By disabled people in a law court case,
For debasing their physiognomy,
For knifing their contributive face.
He does not pertain to disabled people,
Now, after all of that in any way,
And if you are aware of disability,
Then don’t give him the time or day.

I reach into the attic of repressed memories
To vague dreams that could’ve been realised
That once seemed so vast and infinite
And all things possible and significant
To find a dusty disillusioned self portrait
Of how life’s been truly portrayed
Too gangly and uncoordinated to run
Introverted and deprived of fun
The starving kids in Ethiopia
I would grow to offer them a Utopia
A warm shelter and some clothes
An education and a bag of oats
When hunger hindered innocence’ play
Curable disease on their souls preyed
A great man wealthy and noble
Would rise to champion his people
Painting the dark continent brighter days
With love our greatest gift to the human race
And return some of it to orphans stolen by AIDS
When I become the President of the United States

My last letter
Came to me breathless and tired,
His yellow eyes I could well notice,
His dad too had such eyes I enquired,
And God ! another brother having similar,
My reference letters helped fasten diagnosis,
But oh the agony of disease itself,
The mother, the siblings losing cheer,
When came to know it wasn't curable,
Well he was a proven thalasemia !
Three of a poor family suffered,
My hands trembled and eyes teared,
Blood transfusion to five year old every other month,
My heart ached and prayers had failed,
Words in the letters were weeping for justice,
A costly affair to life of a poor innocent sick,
Why God? For what wrong of his did he suffer?
She wasn't coming last three months,
Apprehensive I went sleepless,
One day to find the mother bitterly cry,
Little had I known it was my last letter !

A LONG SHOT
My doc ,lousy smile on lips
White fumes emitting, my disease
Panic syndrome ,
Curable, Time heals .
Chillness creeping leeches
Stripped delusions, fear flows
Veins shrnk
Life cling on hanger
Paranoid schizophrenia
.Fever smear blue dye
Over brain
Shuddered ,desperatly looking
I could see her snoring facing the wall.
My pal far away
On rocky land ,knows nothing .
Tracy, that spiritted negress sings
'Gimme your life
I shall purify it with a can of petrol'.
Tabs,shots ,scans
Unconditional surrender-
Knotted threads,mystic chants
Copper plates with primitive scribes
To see, hear , feel
Before final fall
Gas cylinder turned on Odour of death
A flicker, turbulence-
Charred floor caught
In a long freeze shot............

It hurts, it hurts like hell
For someone to hurt u,
That u thought, u knew so well
I can't explain the pain
It hurts in every vein
Everything's a lie
All u can do is cry
Cry so hard, ur eyes & head hurt
Tears all on ur face & shirt
Could it get any worse?
It's just a curse
Hurt seems to be a disease
That grows on u with ease
Inside, slowly dyin
Symptoms are a broken heart & excessive cryin
Like ur eyes are bleedin non stop
& ur knees weak, u just drop
U just wana be cured, it seems to never heal
U wana be assured, that love is real
U wonder, how does love feel
U've forgotten the feeling of the real deal
Ur so hurt, that ur heart goes numb
But u still feel that hurt, sting, like a prick of a thumb
Gosh, it's an unbearable feeling
& everyday, u hurt more, instead of healing
As soon as u get the least bit of relief
Another bomb is dropped on ur heart & it's back to grief
U wonder when will it stop, when will the pain go away?
It's no medicine for it, so all u do is pray...

Hold on,
Let me see your scar
Is it deep or only a scratch
Is it curable or permanently tattooed
Your heart’s too clear to be struck
Hold on,
Let me see your tears
Is it salty or only a sweat
Is it stoppable or unmendable
Your eyes are too bright to leak
Hold on,
Why don’t you just take my hands
Together we can build a dam
I’ll lend you my strengths
For from now on, I’ll be your lamp
