The Love of the Father is Great
He does not treat you the way you deserve
To be treated as a result of your sins
His mercies are new every morning
God the Father sets the end from the beginning
He finishes something before it starts
His Grace is sufficient and
His tender mercies are new every morning
The Love of the Father expands
The Cross of Calvary is rooted in history and
Forecast the depth of His Love
In my life
God covered me in a season when I wasn’t even speaking to him
His tender mercies are new every morning
Written by: Peter P. Bilhorn 1886
I will sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ Who died for me;
How He left His home in glory
For the cross of Calvary.
Refrain:
Yes, I’ll sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ Who died for me,
Sing it with the saints in glory,
Gathered by the crystal sea.
I was lost, but Jesus found me,
Found the sheep that went astray,
Threw His loving arms around me,
Drew me back into His way.
I was bruised, but Jesus healed me,
Faint was I from many a fall,
Sight was gone, and fears possessed me,
But He freed me from them all.
Days of darkness still come o’er me,
Sorrow’s path I often tread,
But His presence still is with me;
By His guiding hand I’m led.
Soon He’ll come the Lord of glory,
Come the church His bride to claim,
And complete the wondrous story—
Come, Lord Jesus, come again!
He will keep me till the river
Rolls its waters at my feet;
Then He’ll bear me safely over,
Where the loved ones I shall meet.
Kingdom love REIGNS
It sustains victory
The reflection of Love was seen on the CROSS of CALVARY!
Losing His LIFE brought back the Eternal Purpose
The Kingdom of God fears NOTHING
Hate cannot destroy the Kingdom of God
The soldiers of LOVE Stand FIRM
Their SAVIOUR dictates their BEHAVIOUR
LOVE REIGNS
LOVE sustains the VICTORY
LOVE’S RESURRECTION brought back the Eternal Purpose
Losing life showed HIS LOVE for MAN
The Kingdom of God OPENS a CLOSED DOOR and
CLOSES an OPEN DOOR in this world!
The soldiers of love move forward
Their SAVIOUR dictates their BEHAVIOUR
LOVE REIGNS and sustains the VICTORY

The love God Yahweh has for us is unconditional, no strings attached. His love is not based on our performance, but instead what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary. The way we see love is seen differently. Many times our love is based upon what others can do for me, and becomes centered and focused on me instead of we. We are blinded by the circumstance of the challenges that we face instead of building something lasting that will never fade away. Love is everlasting and never does it change. The love God Yahweh has for us is so incomprehensible and far beyond what we can see. The love He has for us is what sets us free.

The most valuable lessons I have learned throughout my life was from experiencing pain. Pain has taught me about people, places, and things I should avoid. Most importantly pain has taught me about what not to do again even though I may have had to go around that same mountain time and time again. If it had not been for the painful experiences I faced I wouldn't be who I am today. Pain has pushed me to want to be a better me, and helped me write poetry like the one you see here today. Pain teaches a baby what's hot, and what's not. Whatever pain has taught me, I carry these lessons with me throughout my life. Without the pain Jesus experienced on the cross of Calvary you, nor I would have the choice to walk in victory.
HE SET ME FREE
Oh, how well I can remember when in my sin I’d wander;
My search for peace and joy just seemed in vain.
But one day I heard the message of mansions over yonder;
I trusted Christ and I was born again.
He set me free, my sins are all forgiven;
His blood has washed them all away.
He set me free, I’m going soon to heaven;
I know I’ll see my Lord some day.
Oh, how often I’m discouraged when Satan tries to tell me
My sins and past aren’t really washed away.
But when Jesus said, “It’s finished” upon the cross of Calvary,
The price for all my sins He paid that day.
These words written to “Don’t Love Tonight.”
The last poem I submitted here, perhaps in February 2021, can be misunderstood by careless readers. I may be wrong in wanting to sometimes offer pithy poems. If readers are not familiar with the darker races of the global village, and how they achieved independence from European and US colonial rule, they miss the many nuances.
In that last poem I also showed my ignorance and knee-jerk reactions in the youthful days in my native South Africa, by "hating favoritism and 'FAVOURites' in public discourse." Now that I am an evangelist, Pentecostal, I teach how to remain in God's grace and favour - by relying on Jesus' finished work on the Cross of Calvary. It is both imputed righteousness and imputed favour one enjoys as a believer in Jesus and the efficacy of His blood sacrifice for sinners since Adam and Eve.
Fighting apartheid, hating privilege:
Having "favorites" (?) - thus hating Favor

MAN:
Dear God,
It's difficult to obey thy holy scriptures,
I think how rapture will come to us,
My sinful mind,
Captured Jesus' picture,
On the cross of Calvary,
Bruises and lashes,
Kissed master Jesus' body,
Oh God!
Why Judas Iscariot,
Betrayed master Jesus?
GOD:
Dear Man;
You were made,
In my image and likeness,
I bestowed upon you,
Wisdom and knowledge.
My son, keep my words,
Treasure my commandments,
Within you.
Rapture will,
Carry your soul to paradise.
MAN:
Dear God,
Thank you for everything,
I don't have anything to pay you,
You save me despite my sins,
Merciful God!
You answer my prayers,
Even with all my wicked deeds.
GOD:
Dear Man;
I see your sorrows,
I feel your pain,
I will heal your broken wounds,
Your prayers,
Need answered always.
MAN:
Dear God,
Let your words lives in my heart,
Let your thoughts be my thoughts,
I surrender my all,
Goodbye to the pleasure of this sinful world.
GOD:
Dear Man;
I blessed you with bountiful tidings,
I accept you as my servant,
I open the way to heaven for you,
I love you.
You pride yourself as the conqueror of humanity
You boast that your power over man is awesome
And strike him numb with fear
You sneak into his life announced
Sometimes you appear unannounced
But always with devastating finality
The rich cannot tame you
The poor quake as you come knocking
The mighty tremble before you
The royalty dread you perpetually
As a veritable threat to their fragile throne
Science remains confounded on how to end your reign
As the ultimate leveler and price that awaits all flesh
You claim to be ubiquitous laying ambush for man
In the sea
In the air
In his sleep
In his place of work
In his place of worship
Behind every plague
Striking him down wherever it pleases you
Creating forceful and permanent separation
Between the living and the dead
But death you have been vanquished by the son of man
He dared you on the cross of Calvary but you surrendered to superior power
As He ascended victoriously into heaven, leaving you fatally bruised
He's risen
Yes Jesus Christ has risen from the dead
The notorious Barnabas was freed
Our lord Jesus,
Was beaten, abused, wretched and died.
But he's risen for our souls could be saved
Hallelujah he's risen
He was willingly crucified on the cross of calvary
what a marvelous love unmatched!
That our Savior humbly died
There, upon the cruel Golgotha
He's risen from the dead
Hallelujah he's risen
The stone rolled away from an empty grave
His resurrection amazed the world
Those who believe in him are saved by him
Hallelujah he's risen
Now am at the liberty of my salvation
He has conquered death, sin and hell
He has defeated the grave
He's has given us eternal life
Hallelujah he's risen
He's risen with a mighty triumph,
From the dark and death domain
He's the savior of my soul
The truth life and the way!
My only hope is in Christ Jesus
Hallelujah he's risen.

Agent of darkness
King,
Of principalities and powers
You,
Who knows no love
But,
Hate, scorn and wickedness
You,
Who sow thorns at night
And,
Reaps prickles in darkness
You; you,
Who robs Peter
To pay Paul
You,
Who suck blood
Instead,
Of giving life
You,
Who can only
Ravage the body
But,
Not the soul
You,
Who can only bark
But cannot bite
You,
Who roam around
Looking for who to devour
You,
Who scatters and muddles
Instead,
Of gathering and molding
You; you,
Who sow deceit and fear
In the hearts of men
Instead,
Of love and kindness
You,
Whose only agenda
Is,
To cause pain,
Sorrow and suffering
To God's children and kingdom
You,
Who disappears
When,
Light appears
You; you,
Who,
Christ shamed and disgraced
On the cross of Calvary
YOU,
Whom,
We laid a wreath
On his grave
More than two thousand years ago
Rest in hades

I have friend who is genuine and true
I never have to be afraid to tell him how I feel
He doesn't care about my past He is there for me
when I need him
He is there to help bare
my burdens
and lift your spirit whenever I am feeling low
and he is the best friend we’ll ever have
He the man was born in Galilee Who bare our sins on the cross of calvary
Whenever I am feeling low
He whispers a comforting
words in my ear and all sorrows seem to disappear
Whenever my God is near to me
We the holy people,
the chosen children of God
Our glorious destiny
was graciously written long ago,
thankfully,
on the crimson cross of Calvary
We the righteous seed,
the select Elect
offspring of Adam and Eve
Our spiritual bloodline Branch
was set apart,
because we believed in God
with all our heart
We the byword people,
who have no faith in Man,
our prayers are just —
For we be the children of Abraham
From Noah to Lot,
we’ve had our vexed tears
mixed in the flood rain
Our Sarah and Rebekah barren cries,
God had not forgot ...
For we the children of the holy prophets
Alleluia rejoiced
when the Messiah came
Now His precious blood
is upon the door of our hearts
As the Holy Redeemer of every conceivable sin,
passed over our shame ...
the path to freedom came
on an Exodus caravan
As were we all,
so shall we all be
As the parents were put in bondage,
so shall the children be set free
