The Carpenter

THE CARPENTER

The carpenter was studying a piece of wood,
Thinking about designing something nice and good.
But a vision entered then into His mind
About a day He’d take some wood down roads that wind.
He chose a nail from off the shelf and lift His hand
As the details of what He’d make began to plan.
But then He thought about another nail He’d see
When He would lay upon the cross of Calvary.
You see, those long, long years He labored there
In that small shop His foster father helped to care
Were years that He kept looking on ahead
To one large cross where He’d be left alone and dead.
And when He stretched His arms at end of weary days,
The shadow of a cross He formed in evening’s rays.
The patterns that He drew with plain and simple lines
Were just reminders of the plan of God Divine.
For this young carpenter who labored hard and long
Had left a home in heaven filled with angel throngs
To bear the sins of all mankind upon the tree
That those who trust might by His stripes be free.
This carpenter was not an ordinary man;
He was the Son of God in flesh and had a plan.
He shed His blood upon the cross of Calvary
And rose again to live on high in victory.
Some day this one called Jesus Christ will come and say,
“It’s time to resurrect mankind for judgment day.”
He’ll not be coming, lengths of wood to nail and saw,
But coming to create a world without a flaw.
So while you’re busy on your job whate’er it be,
Remember that this carpenter some day you’ll see.
Can you say you are ready for this coming king
And that you’ve been found faithful here in everything?
Or will you stand in shame when He will read your fate:
Eternity in hell because it’s now too late.
You shunned His grace and tried to go some other way,
And now you’ve come to final end of life’s short day.
You have the chance while there’s still time to make your choice,
So come to Him by faith today and lift your voice.
Just simple faith in what He said and did for you--
There’s nothing hard and tedious you have to do.
And when you do, you’ll find your life has meaning new
Because you let the carpenter live there in you.

Hell Can Do Nothing Against the Blood of Jesus

“Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man” (Psalms 60:11)

Jesus Christ and His Word remains Forever
Jesus is the Anointed One of God and we are in Christ Jesus—
His Righteous Government endures for all generations
His Sovereign Rule can never be destroyed

Hell has no choice but to attack us
Hell can do nothing against the Blood of Jesus
Hell is defeated; we do not battle by focusing on the enemy
We focus on our King and we give Him thanks for the victory
We enter into His gates with thanksgiving—
We declare His Great Name
We hold up His promises and
Believe by faith in His plan and purpose--
It is hard at times to praise God when the circumstances are tough
However, this is the time to get ‘rough’ with praise and lift Him up
God keeps His promises—
His word is eternal and His love is great

The battle against the Anointed will continue
Each battle will point us to the Cross of Calvary
The Blood of Jesus is Victorious
The Father of the Everlasting age is Eternal
He is the Mighty God
His Government is Supreme
His Empire is Unshakable and
His Word is in the Bible

Let us not be threatened by a hostile environment
Let us know that God will support us
When it is related to the Kingdom of His Son
Let us stand in the name of Jesus and not be afraid of their faces
It is hard at times to praise God when the circumstances are tough
However, this is the time to get ‘rough’ with praise and lift Him up
God keeps His promises—
His word is eternal and His love is great

Jesus has pre-eminence over all things
We are ambassadors sent to represent
The King and His Kingdom
With patience we shall wait on the Lord and not grow weary
As we humble ourselves before the Lord,
We shall see the victory of His hand
Many will rise up against us but
We are not surprised or moved in fear because
We have the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob whom we love

Resurrected From the Blood

RESURRECTED FROM THE BLOOD

I had quite a sinful life, of it I’m oft ashamed,
And I often tried my very best so many things to blame.
Not a father close to me, or things that folks would say,
Friends who came along in life to help me on that way.
Thinking I enjoyed the thrill in all those many deeds,
Paying no attention to the fruit that it might breed.
Then one day came face to face with a disturbing truth:
I could not remember of that day when I was just a youth
I was supposed to trust in Christ, put all my trust in Him,
And through His blood be throughly cleansed of all my awful sin.
And so I came that special day and called upon His name,
And trusted Him as Savior then to cleanse my life of shame.
Have I lived perfect since that day? No, not by any means!
I resurrect sins from the blood too many times, it seems.
It’s not enough that I just fall into the devil’s snares,
It seems that I would rather dwell and talk about it there.
So not so very long ago the sinful life became
Discussion with a stranger who said I take too much blame.
Those things you did were not so bad, they were of God’s design
And somewhere in them I am sure His will you’ll surely find.
Now I look back on foolish days I rambled on again
About so many times of life, so many sordid sins.
Yes, resurrected from the blood—in the week of victory
When I’m supposed to celebrate the cross of Calvary!
Well, now I’m sorry for it all, for I must ever live
In victory knowing of God’s grace, so willing to forgive.
Not saying sin should just abound, though, but to ever strive
To live in victory in His strength because He is alive!
He resurrected from the blood He shed that day for me—
May I, dear Lord, come out alive and live each day for THEE!

The Unappreciated Blessings

STATEMENT: I thank God for blessing me with a gift of twins(two boys )during COVID-19 pandemic and many others after 12years of marriage .

Ask you shall be given says the holy book
Better to do good than evil it says in Luke
Can you serve two masters at the same time ?
Delay is not denial as sorrow and pain sublime
Even though its being over a decade we’ve been praying
For His blessing to manifest according to His saying
God works in miraculous ways to bless those that believe
Hannah prayed all night like a drunkard to conceive
Infidelity is not an excuse for barrenness or disgrace
Jesus came to set the captives free with full grace
Knowing that HE had to die on the cross of Calvary
Loved to work for the poor without wage or salary
Many detest this work for it exposes their greed
New doctrines usher in salvation and forgiveness indeed
Orthodox ways jettisoned to accommodate this new passion
Proofs of this extreme love super cede the old fashion
Questions were asked to know the truth of this new doctrine
Religious fanatics should be wiped off and flushed into the latrine
Soon truth will prevail and lies will be in the past
Trumpets will sound and wickedness will not last
Umbrella of blessing spreads over us ,makes us ask for more
Virus pandemic or lock down cannot stop this cold war
Waiting for years had paid off with a double
X-ray of which shows HE is dependable and reliable
Yet as COVID-19 ranges on and tears our hearts apart
Zephyr whistles joy in our ears and gladdens the heart .

Premium Member He CRIED Again

We all are familiar with the first CRY of Jesus
on the cross at Calvary. It was a one-theme CRY,
the likes of which we all often make. In our pain,
we question by asking God, "WHY?". Often, it is an
agonizing CRY but not always a quest for answers.

So it was with Jesus on the cross of Calvary when
he cried out to The Father, "...Why have you..? Like
the soldiers who heard Jesus's CRY, many who hear
our CRY misinterpret or misunderstand our CRY.

According to English-Gramma-Lessons.Com,
the origin of the expression, "If at first,
you don't succeed, try, try again," comes from
"Robert the Bruce," the first king of Scotland.

From a child we were trained about persistency.
Our parents and teachers taught us to keep trying.
They said, "If at first you don't succeed, try
and try again". We didn't always succeed, but
we learned the value of 'keep trying'.

Forgive me for my diversion and play on words. But the
word here is not 'Try' but 'CRY'. 'He CRIED again'. The
Gospel writer does not tell us that Jesus's second CRY
came in the form of words. The scholars suggest that
it was a 'CRY of triumph' after having satisfied the
Father's will for becoming man's sacrifice for sin.

This Easter reminds me that it's okay to CRY out to God.
God is neither disturbed nor perturbed by our asking, "Why".
We need not know for certain about the 'second CRY'; but
we can be certain that, indeed, the Father was pleased with
the sacrifice; and we can CRY in the confidence of triumph.

Sin and Season

Sin has no longer any hold over me
For Sinless man was crucified on the cross of Calvary
Sin was defeated by the Great God who now lives in me
Sin once had a hold on me, but Jesus came and set me free
You see He gave me a brand new story, the old is now history,
My life now belongs to him for he has given me the victory.

Oh Lord help me to walk in your way
Don’t let me go astray
Keep me in your heart
Guide me in your path
Grant me I pray safety today

Lord of my past, present and future
To you I give my all
I know you have ordered my footsteps
And in you I know I will never fall
I will go the distance whenever you call
Even if I go through the shadow of darkness I will fear none at all
For I know my God is with me to see me through it all

Your testing is hard but it is not bad
I know it comes to make me stronger
I have been through some trials
I have been through some pain
I have walked through some darkness
But I have still gained
Because of what you have done for me it will never be in vain

My future is bright, I live in the light
For he took me out from darkness and doubt
As I enter a new phase in a new place
I am full of grace, now I can clearly see my master’s face
I am moving on, no turning back
With his power there’s no lack
For God is keeping me on track
As Satan is always on the attack!
No matter his strategy, no matter his plan,
Satan cannot keep me down for Mighty God has me in the palm of His hand.

The Man on the Cross not the cross

His Name is JESUS, and HE is ALIVE forevermore
We must worship the ONE who died on the cross
We must not worship the cross
The ONE who has died is also
The ONE who came back from the grave

Many people in the 21st century emphasize
The cross rather than the One who died upon it--
It is the Blood that was shed that washes our sins away
Many people worship the cross and not the MAN upon the cross
Many people wear the cross
However, the man JESUS who was on the Cross is not in their heart!

A cross is not essential to our salvation
But the BLOOD that was shed on the cross of Calvary is necessary!
Many other people died on a cross, but it is
The shedding of Christ’s blood that saves us

The Blood of Jesus destroys our enemies
The Blood opened up the door for victory
The Blood of the Lamb provided access to the Kingdom of God
The Blood of Jesus brings us back to our original purpose

Many people in the 21st century emphasise the cross
Rather than the One who died upon it!
Many people worship the cross and not the MAN upon the cross!
Hence, a cross is not essential to our salvation
But the BLOOD that was shed on the cross of Calvary is essential

The Blood of Jesus destroys our enemies
The Blood opened up the door for victory
The Blood of the Lamb provided access to the Kingdom of God
The Blood of Jesus brings us back to our original purpose

The Spirit of Christ

The beautiful Holy Spirit will live in us and express the
Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Jesus Christ!

We represent Christ amid our enemies
Standing and living the “light” in the darkness

Brokenness is attached to our souls because
With tears, we can see the reality of the mission
Jesus Christ is Eternal, and His power is Everlasting!

Mercy is granted to our enemies but when
The season of Victory approaches
We move forward with the Shout of Glory
Revealing the story of the Cross of Calvary!
The Holy Spirit electrifies the mission and we
Know that electricity can bless or destroy so
We are grateful for the Lord’s Mercy

We are not worthy and
We know that we are saved by Grace
So we do not boast in the downfall of our enemies but
We are thankful that we were washed by the Blood of Jesus;
With patience, we will fight our enemy in the Name of Jesus
Brokenness is attached to our souls because when we cry
We can see the reality of the mission
The season of Victory approaches
We move forward with the Shout of Glory
Revealing the story of the Cross of Calvary

The beautiful Holy Spirit will live in us and express the
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent Jesus Christ

What a blessing that is!
