Champagne

Celebration begins,
Charcuterie boards and
Chilled bottles of champagne.
Chilled champagne poured, served in
Coupe, flute, tulip glasses,
Creates bubbles and fizz.
Cheers, raise glasses and sip.

that his thought was the person in question
could not handle
the beauty of the woman he loved.
Not mentioning that he
had intentions on making
the mans life miserable.
He lacks what he needs to
 be capable to secure and
keep the woman of his desire
there he cursed

Crisp Colors Carried By Autumn

Rustling, blowing, whooshing
Like the moments before twilight,
Following shadows home, stolen 
Lights, glistening across the night,
Hesitant as the forest’s calm,
Still blessings, wafting through dawn,
Rising like dew graced petals,
Reflecting the darkness, the loss
Of a moment before morning warms,
Sunlight reaching through the limbs,
Oaks and maples, painted graceful,
Listening to the brilliance of fiery golds,

Between Crisp Covers

Sweet sentiments stir softly between lovers 

Whispering winds woo the weeping willow’s limb 

Love and warmth linger between the crisp covers 

No longer walking along death’s scary rim 

Moonlight moments in midnight’s dewy druthers 

Silken strands of starlight illuminate him 

Sonnet of love in romantic language spun 

Tapestry of lovers, two hearts beat as one

full of natural wonder

Pretty Crisp Clean Perky Daisy

pretty daisy
crisp, clean, perky,
she outshines the sun
on this overcast day
her petals are unmoving windmills
her seeds sit up expectantly
I have a granddaughter named after her

crisp air, foggy mist
surrounds red, orange, and red leaves....
dawn touches the earth     

The Ought of Autumn

It ought to light up my being
With the color and passion
Of its crisp, browning magic
It ought to bring the sounds
Of fire crackle, warm abrasions
And unlimited clinks to hearths
Of every size and flavor
It ought to turn down the heat
Turn up the chill
And turn on the love
It ought to renew our sense
Of joy, togetherness and those
We wish

The Excitement I Hold For Fall

Yesterday I saw a leaf or two fall to the ground                                            

Crisp Croons

red feathers shimmer
on frosty coated pine boughs ~
crisp cardinal croons

Bright;
      Nature's 
   crisp sparkles;
 the festival Moon
        glows.

Crisp nights, heavy dew, coming soon
Smoke trail of swallows southward fly
Fruit boughs droop under harvest moon
Corn towers up to touch the sky 

Fall speckles in the trees on high

Fat melons ready for reaping nigh
Chill spooks asylum of common loon

Not one hundred by afternoon

A Crisp packet skips across the road,
Like a ballerina on her points.
Sounding like a kid dragging their heels
Along the ground
