Partners in poetic perambulation
in peregrination’s peaceful imagination
Without prestidigitation
serendipitous poesy will do
Each of us inspiring the others
creating community ~ sisters and brothers
silver strands carried
across melocholy sky
almost finished nest
I used to be a thing of
beauty
now I’m just this
hideous mess.
I reached my peak
my climax
this story of the year
Is over
No more seasons, just calender months
Broken down into mud, sweat, showers and snowstorms
I watched my magic
slowly
but oh so suddenly
fade away.
completely . .
d i s a p p e a r . . .
gone
down the rabbit hole.
Im late, I’m late
for a very important date!
too late
Twas fate
I came tumbling in after
noon
so soon
on or around
the full moon
in tune,
but without
(rhythm. )
Every star eventually dies.
every vibration, every beat, every melody, every song
fades and finally
s l o w s . ..
to its final rest
Its final pitch:
black.

describe to me
the taste
of
ice.
who knew nothing could taste so cold?
I am not such a detail person
in a surface sense --
if it works better than it has
worked before, better than
anyone has made it work
before – then I am satisfied.
For the moment. Polish,
burr free…does that matter
to the person that thirsts, the
person in need of shelter and a
comforting touch? Poetry, art,
they’re also tools prolific as
hammers and saws – likewise
build structures for ascent and
decent – let our steps be pure
as humanly possible – God
knows our hearts already. Cares
less about the color of our souls
and only that they have yet not been
sold.
I was blessed to see and hear different birds today whilst enjoying the blooming spring blossoms growing wildly in the neighbourhood. I took a video and photos of incredible bluebells being visited by buzzing bees. In the background you can hear birdsong.
Spring is creating new room

Do you hear them?
The birds and the bees
Do you see them?
Living life with ease
Do you feel it?
This beautiful peace
Do you know it?
We're connected and free
Do you see it?
Those beautiful blooms
Can you feel it?
Spring is creating new room
Do you know it?
We're all part of the whole
Do you grow it?
Your love and your hope
Do you hold it?
Good thoughts and feelings
Do you show it?
Kindness and healing
Do you own it?
Your gratitude and faith?
Do you flow with it?
God's purpose and grace

Is anything more magical than a newborn?

As today, we gather to celebrate
a created monster, judged first rate,
we credit, not just Frankenstein, but you,
the cadaver that made this dream come true.
The space between
what is,
what is not,
what was,
what’s yet to come
a void,
unmarked,
like untouched parchment.
Conjure anything upon it,
with it.
Infuse it with existential ache
or the unburdened wonder of a child.
Revel.
Adorn it with the sun,
or the moon,
with me and you.
Imprint it with all you are.
Drench it,
as if it’s your final moment there.
Extract every drop
from the marrow of your being.
Its destiny is forged by your hands
in ways you cannot yet fathom.
What are goofy things
Being awkward,
telling dumb jokes and stories,
or wearing crazy clothes
are all great ways to be goofy.
Why are my stories so bad
I never thought them goofy
The lady say's I'm a jerk.
I never thought I was being useless
She said I had a silly grin.
I thought I was smiling.
I admit to loving you
You are ashamed of me
aren't you?
A goofy smile is sweet
unless you don't wanna be sweet.
Why am I sweet anyway
or are you just mean and sour
and repel great looking men
Huh? Come on tell me.
Please tell me why you know
so much?
Tell me why you're so special.
I'm proud and debineer
cool and sophisticated
I got that rizz about me
I got that rizz about me
i really;really do
an alarming rhizz go tell your friends
tell them I'm that great and entertaining
Goofy, nah I'm Rizomatic
This word was created today
the word was brand new.
The night is vast, a velvet tide,
Soft breath of stars that will not hide.
The moon lies low, a molten flame,
And every leaf whispers your name.
No mirrored haze, no city glare,
Just silence hung in midnight air.
The trees extend their thick shadowed limbs,
Their touch as warm as "biblical" hymns.
The bushes lean, their blossoms spread,
A secret path where we are led.
Green leaves embrace with tender sweep,
The earth awakes, it does not sleep.
Above us spills a sugared stream,
Cotton candy stars that gleam.
The Milky Way—our bridal veil,
A shining road, a comets siver tail.
Your hand in mine, so dark and sweet,
Our pulses rise, our shadows meet.
The hush is deep, the moment stays,
Entwined beneath the milky way.
I taste the salty night upon your skin,
The universe stirs, we beg the night.
With every spark the heavens say:
We are the fire,
are each atoms dancing, In your Milky Way.
Working quietly in my shop makes me smile
Hearing the soft snipping and quick clacking sounds
I notice my wood is escaping its pile
What if I find there is no more to be found?
Creating such things like small houses and food
To slake the thirst of those miniature souls
Making each piece an original and good
To supply to my customers is my goal
When speaking my mind and I'm not being heard
Is something that niggles the back of my brain
Repeating once fine, then two times but the third
saying it again is really a pain
Why don't you listen to hear the words I say
Instead of thinking about your next event
A demon I must independently slay
For being acknowledged is just what is meant
Poetry paints prismatic word-pictures
A cubist painting programmed in plain air
Poetry and painting prize pure features,
For centuries, art crafted with grand care
Let us journey to juxtapose the two
Both attract the primeval painters' flair
With colours in rich red, yellow, and blue
Words sketching with wise theatrical care.
Try to catch and caress the words you see
Draw sights and sounds into your fractal soul
Organic lines jotted down joyously
As fractal forms that fill Metatron's scroll
Golden spirals smeared in an author's room
Are geometry's homage on a loom.
Rainbows have a lot of meanings.
It depends on whose translating them.
but we know exactly what they mean
if we’re the ones creating them
I shift my focus inward
I hum gently till the vibrations resonate
~ chanting clears my mind's cobwebs

they told me
it had to rhyme
it had to mean something—
something big—
like death, or love,
or the smell of gasoline in a motel parking lot.
so I just sat there
with a busted lighter
and an ashtray full of good intentions,
and the words just
spilled out like a drunk
trying to find my shoes that I misplaced.
this isn’t a poem,
it’s just like life
with its pants down,
asking you to kiss it
before it collapses again,
waking up just to do it over
and over again.
