Premium Member Little Kids' Courageous Calls

      No one says ‘ugly’
          Who uses ‘fat’
      We’re all way more sophisticated
           than that

But a little kid doesn’t mind
           if you weigh too much
           or you appear strange
calling you ‘a fat pig’ or some such

She's

She's a two edge sword--
who wheels profound believes.
Thus, sashays
with Viking's valor
and intuitive ease.

She's been known
to bend, near break--
shading discarded leaves;
From harsh, scolding droughts
or debar's frost-bite freeze.

She's no puppet-master and
certainly ain't--angst's puppet, hung.
Who submissive questions,
cowardly answers, bows, then scurrys,
when her strings are tugged.

She's that avid eagle,
with freedom's rein to soar.
Her nest--it never tethers,
with knowledge's thirst,
explores.

The world, it's but
her pearly oyster,
with every venture,
craves to seek
and conquer more.

Premium Member My guardian Angel

You have been gone for a while
Leaving a void of emptiness
Difficult to fill and contend with
All around me your presence looms large
Your beautiful face lulls me to sleep nightly
I see you every morning as I wake up
Your sumptuous lips whisper into my ear
Courageous words of determination
To keep hunters of destiny at bay
When trapped in the midst of danger in the day
Your angelic presence rescues me from the fray
And wherever I go you are sure to follow
Where then do I go from your presence my love?
No where my darling
For you are my guardian Angel
Always close to me and ready for battle!

Premium Member Who Am I

As petals open one by one
I think of rehabilitation
But who am I?
Wild Irish rose I used to be.

I am a part of what's in you
I am the iris of your eyes
I am a black panther prancing in warm rain
I am a brook finding river, reaching to sea
I am quiet dawn awakened by the Source
I am noontide warmth
I am rainbow glow of evenings
I am a good night sleep
I am morning inspiring you
I am the humble eye, renewed each spring.

Premium Member Courageous Living

Courage is not the absence of fear
but acting for good in the midst if it
these words are so very true
which are so meaningful fit

Fear doesn't need to be so bad
Real-living courage is really good
it overcomes all our grief
this should be clearly understood

God says do not fear
so often throughout scripture
His word of authority stands
enabling to fully endure

What a beautiful picture
of courage full of power
but remember even when weak
rise up at the appointed hour

Remember Jesus on the cross
looked so weak but in control
for He brought life from the dead
being God, made His children whole

Learn courageous living
storm ahead, be divinely driven

You are Brave!

You're braver than you believe, a hero in disguise
Your heart beats strong, with courage in your eyes
Though fears may whisper loud, and doubts may creep in tight
You're stronger than you seem, and can face the darkest night

Your mind is a treasure trove, of wisdom and insight true
A wealth of knowledge hidden, waiting to break through
Don't sell yourself short, or doubt your own might
You're smarter than you think, and shine with light so bright

So stand up tall, and let your spirit soar
Embrace the bravery, that's been there all before
Draw on the strength, that's deep within your soul
And know that you're capable, of achieving your goals

You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem
And smarter than you think, with dreams that can beam
So go ahead, and chase them, with confidence and poise
For you are capable, of reaching the highest of joys.

Message To My Child

Son , keep my wise words for your  bright  future: As a future leader, privilege discipline in everything you will do.
A ruler has  much power when his people are with him. Learn to understand the voices of the people you rule. A wise leader knows that power does not mean to control and ill - treat people,  It is the happiness for working for people... " helping them."Love knowledge to rule well, Respect is reciprocal in life , Love the person who corrects you because he loves you the most.  Respect is reciprocal in life , Be humble, tolerant of others  ,  and  a role model in the Society. Learn to forgive forgive and forget , Don't allow tribalism " tribal  conflict" to rise  among the people you lead. Remember that , war is the biggest enemy of the development. Promote peace and love where ever you will be. I love you so much son.

Premium Member Son of a Tank

your life wasn't easy
I was nine that morning
your battered face
you said you ran into
a clothesline pole
but it was a tank
the same one I ran into
when you took us away
I should have been
angry at him, not you
you gave your children a life
sacrificed everything
yet I never
not even now
fully realized
what a strong, courageous
and loving woman
my mom....
I'm trying
I hold onto the memory
of that time a bad call
at the very last second
cost me
a fiercly contested
wrestling match
you knew
it was more
than that disappointment
grinding me down
sitting there on my bed
despondent
on the cliff's edge
staring down into a sea of
disillusionment
you came
sat beside me
and told me you understood
how discouraged I was
but that when you watched me
you saw a man fighting a battle
and it made you proud
and it made me cry
god it made me cry

Premium Member Freedom

The Ukrainian resistance is a FREEDOM model for the ages!
The world must take heed for Ukrainian values are contagious!
Putin is insane and will pay the price sooner or later!
There is no room in this world for this out-of-control hater!
I would fight for FREEDOM with those courageous people if I was there
It’s amazing how many millions of people are showing they care!
Oppression, ego and greed never win in the end!
FREEDOM and democracy are worth any price to defend!

Premium Member Living One's Life

Living One’s Life

With living one’s life—
so begins now all the temptations and
all the true mortal strife.

Knowing that what may come and what
each of us may face, may not be any fun,
if at all. After all, we are all mortal in the
end.

Never fear those freaky foolish foibles of
fate, for your future lies at eternity’s gate.

Be courageous and show real compassion,
for your life’s run is a most noble action.

Human perfection is such a worthy goal,
yet one’s true passion is the guiding rule.

As each of us seek out our own respective
destinies in this life, never forget that God
is always with us and observing us, as distant
from us, as He truly is.

Amen.

Premium Member Captain Courageous

april starts clocks forward spring
practice in full swing
nets untangled from their poles
players to contact & enroll
gang mowers greased&oiled
kit-bag dis-embroiled
grass-stained pads whitened bright
fixture list to expedite

fix sight-screen broken panels
coax another season from my flannels
spring-clean changing rooms dried with mud
re-lace boots& re-stud

wash& iron umpires coats
then score-box to creosote
tea-urns to scour crockey to clean
a captain's tasks routine unseen

dreams of 50's in the sun
games won by just one run
cricketers' good indifferent & unsung
this national game played just for fun
