LADDER OF SUCCESS
Free Verse
1001 steps to reach the apex
You need courage and strength
Along the way there are trials and tests
Be careful, watch every step you make.
Ask the help and guidance of God
Courage and conviction to you He'll provide
Ask Him to hold your hands so tight
Going up is not easy, slippery and too steep
From the first step there are challenges
Overcome it with hope and faith
Never lose your courage and fortitude
Aim high till you reach the pinnacle of success.
Don't rest on your laurels they say
In your journey you're almost half way
Though the road is rough and bumpy
Finish your course with intrepidity and dignity
You are young and beautiful
The future has many good things to offer
Concentrate in your studies
Finish it with flying colors.
You are the pride of your parents
The crown and glory of the church as well
A good example among the chosen
Someday, you’ll stand before men clapping their hands.

thru notes of distinction
diversion dots the silent eye
distracted
in papal set
where deepness holds
her self regret
lingered, lost
within imperfect past
how can one live
how can one last
mental inequity
meanders
about the steam
of tepid tea
and thoughts of intrepidity
to live
to last
to stand alone
mirrored amid the truth
trusting
not only darkness will be called home
but more than a tunnel
will be holding on
to lasting light

Afterlife,
What are you?
Are you my friend or my foe?
The end, or the beginning?
A blessing or a curse, are you?
Fear, or intrepidity?
Exaltation, or despair?
And finally,
Is your essence damned
Or
Is it holy?
No matter what your nature is,
Ready I would be for you, when the time
Would draw near,
An effort to sooner come to you,
Is out of my way of thinking
But
Neither I, like a coward, would I endeavor to
Fly away,
Therefore
Here I will make my stand,
Waiting for your appearance
Challenging your dominion as you are
Getting near
Thus
Till my last breath, I will
Oppose you
And
Down I will go fighting, never asking you,
For mercy!

Astonishing self-assured warrior.
Rough acts entail his mettle and intrepidity.
Idoneous healer, he uses dauntlessness.
Effervescent, impulsive optimist, he is a torchbearer.
Self-confident, he is socially skilled and insightful.

In wonderment I walk with the day
billows blowing
noticing not,
a beginning nor an end
lost in the mist of the rain
I pause at the crosswalks
filled with children
on their way
not knowing
life from a game
smiles yield,
flowery umbrellas holding
the rain
and a world at bay
glistened eyes overcome
and I see their mothers
dreams, heartfelt nights
tireless songs of glee
intrepidity
the will amid the worry
cars turning left
moving right
no wrong in sight
the beginning to an end
they're at their end
I see youth in their eyes
glazing over moments
years/tears
it's not the end
I greet them
noticing
all that beauty
bellowing
silently from within

Honour packets and pockets of promises
Without any iota of excuses
If progress should become the portion
Blessed in action and implementation.
Honour realms and reams of reputation
With vigour and rigour
Applied to forestall a misrepresentation
Sneaking into any endeavor to reap favour.
Honour spoken and written words
Uttered and muttered in good faith
Without rattling swords and surds
Slipping through to take away strength and depth.
Honour inventories and instalments of integrity
In plans and in thoughts
Preaching serenity and intrepidity
In quotes and in votes of all sorts.

It is the night, in deepest dark, that death foretells
the demon heart in which all lonely feeling dwells.
Yet, in plain sight, our eyes can’t see what life impels,
emotion’s plea, our deepest sorrow love dispels.
Blind are caustic ink filled visions, all light repels,
like charred decisions, ash from crematory tells
a tale where quietus intrepidity sells
the silent impetus toward a life of many hells.
Walled inside this ebon murk, my emotion wells;
beyond they lurk, those who are sane, their tale retells
how life is to live, and the end but brief farewells.
Though my will may bend, it is I that death compels.

Public Back Stabber
You gave me life and breath, Yes thank you,
You feed me and house me, Yes thank you,
You educated me and tutored me, Ye thank you,
You loved me as some hated me,Yes thank you,
You smiled at me as they scowled, Yes thank you,
You treated me as they shown me back,Yes thank you,
You gave me joy as they rob it, Yes thank you,
You aligned me when i disarranged my poles, Yes thank you,
You tossed me when i was thirsty, Yes thank you.
But...!
Was that an authentication to stab me? No i don't think so!
Was that a sacrament to tarnish me? No thank you,
Was that sauciness to serve yourself with sauce of brag? No i don't think so!
Was it a rubric to talk ill of me? No thank you,
Was it an impudence to majestic-ate yourself to me? No i don't think so!
Was it an intrepidity to maul me down from those i love? No thank you,
Was it an ordinance for you to grill me to thrash? No thank you
A clone of stout backstabber stamped itself from you,
Let your giventh left hand not seen by your receiventh right hand,
Stop backstabbing me!

Ego Veni Vidi Vici.
On the Citadel of Learning
Where intellectual intrepidity thrives
WE CAME as the gullible scrounging for knowledge.
On the Ivory tower of scholarly display
Where philosophies and ideologies are born
WE SAW invaluable imprints and imparts of Saintly Scholars.
Our polemic justice to the Professor's poetry
Certified us for the coveted convocation
WE CONQUERED the courses excellently through God.

Courage and Success
Courage is the way of success
So never let your feelings suppress
If you deserve something right
Step forward and never fright
Be confident and be polite
Whenever you step outside
Your will power will be your strength
No matter.......
If ladder of success is arduous
But it can never be hazardous
Increase your vim and velocity
Polish your dexterity
Kick the impotence
You will never face debility
Always show your intrepidity
Your will-power will be your strength
And you will become mettled one
So if you deserve something right
Then step forward and make luck bright
Go up and up and never fright
Be like a valorous for your right
Prove your prowess when needed fight
If you want successful life
Face with courage and you will rise.

A ship is safe in the harbor,
But that's not what ships are built for.
Because in the sum of our human gleams,
We have created the vessel for our dreams.
Its purpose: to retrieve the alien shore,
To scout, seek, achieve and explore.
A ship is meant to fly and fly,
To seize the horizon and capture the sky.
And the few of us with the intrepidity,
To brave the virulent vortex velocity
We are the wealthiest of men ever to dream
And ever to combat a sea or a stream.
And the harbored ships that fritter away,
Slowly begin to rot and decay.
Never has there been a greater waste of a day,
Than that spent harbored,
Than those of us who stay.

Orange-
It lives;
I'm amused.
How enchanting
Are its witty ways.
Melodic and modern,
Inquisitive towards all,
Obnoxious, yet magnificent
Is its exuberance, alluring.
Brazen intrepidity comes from Orange.
