Gallantry Poems

Premium MemberValor of India Unyielding Gallantry at Neuve Chapelle During 1915

Bravest Sons of India – Neuve-Chapelle, 1915.
(Linking Pin Sonnet – Dr. Joseph Spence Sr. Style)

India’s sons marched where guns roared in flame,
Flame lit their path as the Lahore men onward pressed,
Pressed with the Meerut through wire none could tame,
Tamed only by hearts in brave Garhwal dressed.

Dressed for the storm, Gurkha steel cut the way,
Way through the fire where the Kaiser’s men stood,
Stood firm for the flag in that Flanders day,
Day paid in blood for the world’s greater good.

Good men they were, yet no grave bears their name,
Name clearly carved instead on memorial white,
White stone in France tells the tale of their fame,
Famed in the East, now in every nations’ sight.

Sight holds their valor where red poppies still sway,
Swayed by the winds, they march with us today.

ECHOES OF GALLANTRY

Slaying selflessly at the warfront's edge,
Guarding the land with an indomitable pledge.

Faces etched with patience and pride,
Military spouses and children brave the tide.

Salute to the matriarch that cradles our fighters,
Teary farewells rest on their shoulders.

Immortal spirits slumber in their graves,
Back to the ancestral womb where tribute paves.

Their unyielding valor marks the annals of time,
Inspiring future generations with courage sublime.

Life of Our Gallantry

The life of our gallantries

Risky is my everyday devotion
Serving for the nation
Chanting my military incantation
Sacrifice my life and image to my nation

Sparking to burn for others
To Safeguard mothers and fathers
Fighting for sisters and brothers
Forgetting like we don't have closer's

You spend time with child and wife
I spend mine with my gun and knife
Your hustle for a colourful life
I struggle for your safety life

Many died in this world of infantry
While some died in line of duty
Stored in refrigerators of mutuary
My name constantly bear fallen military
All those are not dearly and scary
Remembering those days of mockery

I shout to ease boredom and loneliness
But you called it cheating and foolishness
It's neither drugs nor ridiculousness
To me it's my way not a craziness

We always remained loyal to order
Following the lead of our commander
I feel proud in camour and even bolder
We are family regardless of who is older

Premium MemberBurial of a Young Soldier

The bugles will sound in the distant courtyard
The proud soldier came home from the cause,
Many tears will be shed with noted regard.

A much-decorated warrior in the vanguard,
The dress military uniform he will wear because
The bugles will sound in the distant courtyard.

The family will receive a beautiful mass card
“Our Fathers” will be recited without pause,
Many tears will be shed with noted regard.

He died so young, consciences will be jarred
Candles will be lighted with silent applause,
The bugles will sound in the distant courtyard.

For many understanding his sacrifice is hard
Was he born just to die for this unworthy cause?
Many tears will be shed with noted regard.

His family will receive a flag and his lanyard
His soul is entrusted to the man on the cross,
The bugles will sound in the distant courtyard
Many tears will be shed with noted regard.

Gallantry

Knights and horses, felling dragons
Aye dear princess here he cometh
Fighting injustice, shunning medalry
Brave warrior of the king is approaching
Abandoning good nature,gallantly nearing
He stoops but a fraction to gather his darling

Gallantry of Stars

The gallantry of stars
glittering far beyond
A sole goes on search
of the fate unbound

Whiskers that attached
on hopes that’s tied
Moving gallons of dreams
for life is on hide

Tiny pears beckoned thirst
a piece licked her sight
This is where its hidden
for her everything is allright’

These stars might vanish
cos this is only a night
Tomorrow its time
for her to win her fight..
