Confession

I learned what I fear today:
Intimacy. I can’t seem to face
my raw emotions bluntly; in fact
I despise them for being unpoetic
Why be vulgar and direct
when I can hide behind my
metaphors, my harbor; my fantasies, my
buffer—between reality and
my brain cells too proud to be seen
scattered, sprinkled all over—
well, nothing

Even this moment I struggle to simply
write: I’m messy. I’m hurt.
I’m lone and gloomy and primitive and violent.
I can’t speak of my love and hatred in
raw honesty, no—I must be filtered
so when I scramble myself undone on paper
I no longer belong to
me. I’ll be
safe, from me; an
outsider, from me.

Critics say a raw poem
whispers secrets like readers are old friends
But I have long forgotten,
how a girl usually lets her voice confess

In Rhyme and Faith - Verses Upon the Creed of EFCI - An Ode to the EFCI Confession

1. The Scriptures shine, God-breathed and pure,
2. One triune God, eternal and sure.
3. The Father reigns, Creator above,
4. The Son, our Savior, full of grace and love.
5. The Spirit proceeds, giving life and light,
6. Humankind fallen, lost from God’s sight.
7. Salvation is grace, through faith alone,
8. Faith, Spirit-given, makes Christ our own.
9. Children of God, by blood justified,
10. Baptism and Supper, Christ’s love supplied.
11. The Church, His body, with Christ as the head,
12. Awaiting His coming, just as He said.
13. Resurrection awaits—joy or judgment ahead.

Coward's confession

Whispering my ache to the wind,
Hoping it'll carry my love to you.
Writing the feelings of a dying heart
On the rusty pages,
Hoping someday maybe,
The wind will carry them too.
Thinking of you when the sun rises up to the sky,
Eating up the darkness,
The same way your thought shines bright,
In the black hole of my mind.
I'm a coward i know.
Not when I've to protect you,
Not when you need me,
But when my heart aches a little more,
To tell you,
About these feelings
About all the words
So here I'm again
Laying down on the deathbed
Created by my own mind
Whispering your name again
While the darkness spread over the sky.
But this time,
There'll be no sun to shine...

Proposal

Carnelian, please, I need my strength;
Tell goldstone to be here in lengths
And dragon stone will guide me through,
With rose quartz here, for loving you.
My pyrite guides me to the left.
Labradorite leaves my hand, bereft.
And though my quartz is tattered and shattered,
Tell amethyst that it never mattered.
Just let me cry and let me sing--
Just let my heart explode again!
Snowflake obsidian strips me naked.
Strengthening contrasts are so sacred.
I'll put this rose quartz to my disposal,
Gift opalite ring, accept my proposal
And be with me forevermore.
Please, please be mine, forevermore

Premium MemberConfession of the day

perhaps it's true
i admit it
i confess it
i'm an idealist
i want it all
i want the best
i don't want seconds

i'm not talking
about what's material
i want attention
i want affection
i want what's true
and from the heart

i'm an idealist
and don't expect
or want to
ever change

Premium MemberForgiveness Through Confession

To confess trespass, seeking absolution,
Praying for a pardon, revealing hidden iniquities,
He kneels in silent vespers

With contrite heart and supplication,
He acknowledges each sin
Upon this revelation, epiphany and intercession,
his spirit releases that of impurity to live once again....

Suttle yet expressive a joyous gratitude insue
upon a realization of God's loving proof

A promise of truth with evidence has come,
for the Son of God has arrived in our earthly realm

For love is the greatest gift of all
and forgiveness shall set us free

Premium MemberConfession of a cinephile

I've loved them all
each and every one
the long and slinky ones
the short and racy ones
the bold and colourful
the dark and moody ones
the funny and even silly ones
I've loved them all without regret

Unspoken, Yet True

I never meant to spark a fight,
never planned to dim your light.
Words just slipped, they found their way,
but every word, I meant to say.

If I hurt you, know this well,
it wasn’t meant to make you dwell.
Not a trick, not just a game,
what I feel—I’d say the same.

I don’t know your world so deep,
yet the parts I’ve seen, I keep.
You’re the kind that lingers long,
soft yet fierce, quiet yet strong.

I tease, I joke, just to see,
how your anger still warms me.
If only you knew, if only you’d see,
how much I wish you’d stand by me.

I won’t ask for endless things,
no stars, no moon, no diamond rings.
Just a little space, a little time,
a little hope that you’d be mine.

I waited, hoping you would say,
a word, a sign, some light my way.
But still, I’ll leave these words with you—
I love you, real and true.

Premium MemberThe Kiss's Confession

If a lip could weave its own refrain,
It would drape itself; longing for delight,
A fleet strumming; a pair, in soothing rain,
World's lightening kept alive one stolen night

It would sing of passionate pages turned
Inside the bars, it holds moments 'til heartbreak
Vermillions borders crossed, endless war is yearned
What was fired from the eyes, leave Cupid's bow to take

In phantom touch, it tastes both love and rhyme
Petals, drawing on petals, the instruments, a blur
It is a joy, thrumming tune, at the pulse of all sprung time
In silence of the moment, it becomes a song for sure.

Closing at the commissures of superior and inferior seams,
sweetness is humbled; as I am won, with anothers dreams

Premium MemberLet My Words Uplift

Let the words of my mouth uplift
May they be spiritually endowed
A gift
From the one true God and Savior
Mending broken blue hearts Creator

May your soul rest in perfect peace
May you find refuge as we speak
Guided by Christ our life He leads
May perfect love be enveloping

May you find answers to questions
And insights in the word’s suggestion
For with every teal tongues confession
Holds power to heal seal a blessed one

CONFESSION FROM A POET TO A BELOVED POETESS ROMANTIC WORDS

      being a simple poet

My Confession and Request

to Someone

A sin is circulating over me, hanging our life, gallows
Someone needed love, only some dust of and from love
A touch from you is just a hoped kindness from your heart

… where is that? Mine is single and can’t recognize your heart
I am walking on a snowfield without your arms, no embrace
that’s why I am a walker, looking, looking, and searching for love

I needed to drop my bloody heart in front of your legs to love life
Dig a hole for… and put in the deep this stone heart, and forget that
This unmarked grave is the seal on our non-existent infinite love

Winter Confession

Little girl, Sunday
through christening water
Little woman, Monday
through marring rain —
and motions
the berg slicker —
fear the approaching snow
their heart reign;
together a frozen chord
felt by a crowd —
she's chilly;
these arms hugged her prayers.
Then and now clairsentience,
frost scathes my eyes
before knees ever make
ground.
