I am 1,248 songs of complicated rhythm. Prose and verses tell a story of my decisions…my indecision. I am skin shaped, in 42 different shades of foolery, a life lover doing my best to avoid an other, but they seem to be everywhere these days. Crawling out from under rocks, or latent in my twisted fantasies. I think I may be terminal with delusional romantacy. A proverbial symphony strung together with sinew and longing. Discordant chords bending into melody when I blink too long or laugh too hard at the wrong moment.

I can admit, I have been the composer of songs that I was never meant to play. Still, I finger at the keys, an untuned melody stretched thin across the vastness of possibility, a quiet rebellion whispered in 3am silences, telling truths I didn’t ask to know, but I can’t help but pick up on the tone. I am every note you thought I missed, the calloused fingertips of my mistakes, still strumming, still singing. Harmony may elude me, but the melody is mine to claim. Yes, I am 1,248 songs of messy humanity, and I’ll rewrite the chorus as many times as it takes to finally hear it in my own voice.

The Great Composer

We hear the music of life
And we are compelled to dance forever

We dance to the lyrics
Of falling snowflakes
And to the rhythm
Of swaying trees
We dance to the harmony
Of birds in flight for winter
And to the song
Of the honey bee queen
We dance to the tempo
Of deer frolicking in the meadows
And to the count
Of the woodpecker’s aim
We dance to the pace
Of the king of the jungle
And to the beat
Of the copious rain

We hear the music of life
So we are compelled to dance forever

Baton

Vague memories haunt me still,
they come whether sadness or thrill,
too often at the very worst time,
it rings in my head, a Pavlov chime,
some reactions are unrehearsed,
but at the same time I feel versed,
like a dark coffee my actions appear bold,
when in turn, inside I break and fold,
you, most of all, don't deserve this exposure,
twisted memories becoming my composer.

Phase three

Bliss
a phase where we are continually happy
where those people
who are routinely making your relationship
difficult are eased with the promise of one
reaping the rewards of a successful endeavor.

when the stage is set and those who wish you happiness
can know longer narrate or meddle in
the two Lovers lives.
When the ink is casted
let the honeymoon began.

She bought both her flute and oboe
on the honeymoon.
She had me crawling on my oboes just to
get next to her.
Every time I started smochie hoochie
she blow the flute.
I kissed her cheek and she blow the oboe.
I had to get a sing with her to stay outta trombone: I bassoon it's
part of the honeymoon phase. Being inspired and all. But staying interested meant staying in tune
but hat's all n the Bliss of romance.
It's all about romance and being romantic!

The Tip on Table Seven was from the Guy I told this
Story too. He to was
on his honeymoon.
The Gal's went outside clownshow.
Too many insect out there for me
I came inside! She out there in
th Gally get-up: Dudes lookin all up on her:
Let me get out there:before she start
smiling up in somebodies face!
See you around man!

We all hear Rachmaninov and Chopin
Plus Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, and Schumann
But it’s unfair, I say
That no one will play
That great composer who’s just known as Stan

The Composer That Impales the World By Fd Ravenskraft

The Composer That Impales The World
by FD F.D. Ravenskraft
with every tune that the melodies you play
that even the strings come to a commanding state
the guitarist blends in his sins
Into the romantic begins. slowly he plays and grin.
the ladies fall down in a comatose
the lover of all lovers
undercover to watch him discover the madness of his extreme
Composing dreams, as it seems he's watched the world burns with love and hate. Everyone falls into a deep sleep never to awaken
tuning the tune of the romantic unsung gloom
that blooms the blossoms of his hands
the poetic storyteller walking in the fields unseen
but the front of a storm saw him
lusting over the calm nature of the grim,
he plays like he's making out with paradise himself
Without her to him. No one is.
he named his guitar after him
A Poem that spits the melodies
I see him sitting there on the fields of sand out of nowhere
as his last victim dies by his playing demise
a macabre that was robbed of itself
he plays on and on
the end of it all had just begun

If you were a melody you would be complex
Blue breezy and free dry yet wet
If you were a melody you'd play with my heart
String me along singing song of God

You would stay on my mind like maroon birthmark
You would ring in my ears sweet and tart
Rainbow kisses from you would reign
Melodious and yellow with green to tame

You would be like a river dark and deep
Yet have shallow sunny spots to attract my feet
I'd step into your song as a single note
And be carried along in the kaleidoscope

That is your creation as composer of love
If you were a melody I could never get enough.

Sweet notes, promising joy and quiet peace
Melodies dancing lights that will never cease
Promises golden like the reflections of the sun
Calming hearts with hope that won’t be outdone
Songs of the soul, harmony beyond our dreams
Tunes with lyrics, bold and warm, music streams

Shall I compose for you a warm summer’s night?
One filled with crickets and night birds softly calling.
Of shimmering Alder leaves in the pale moonlight
as night owls glide silently upon wings stalling
while twinkling stars shine so very bright.

Shall I compose for you a cool autumn’s day
walking through fields of pumpkin and barley.
Caressing each other’s hands in that special way
while tossing sticks for our retriever, “Marley”.
We stop to talk at the swing by the beautiful bay.

Shall I compose for you a cold first winter’s snow?
Stepping outside and exhaling that steamy breath.
As flakes fall and land gathering to and fro
the snowmen dance, then a slow melting death.
The warming sun renders a grin from the willow.

Shall I compose for you a sweet spring kiss?
Hearing the songbirds sing in the greening trees
and sprouts raise their blooms, and we reminisce
of that lovely feel of a springtime breeze.
I'll compose for you a life that goes on just like this.

The Composer

It came out of a powerful dream so radiant,
captured that all behold transfigured stimulant.
The heavens opened in all its glory by a note,
from the bottom of silent dark sounded forth.
One low and one high pitch creating a globe,
forthwith to turn a spiral octave strobe.
Slowly beginning a stringing of hymn,
weaving each day into a magic dim.
That sunrise starts singing to the valley,
the springs to the streams rhythm pulse alley.
Plugging bases from river to ocean,
clarinet and oboe flow in playful potion.
The vibrating air now in choir harmony,
opens the flowers to complete this symphony.
Sighs and shivers come from the bosom of earth,
the stars unfold into infinity rebirth.
Swerves and turns back on itself sensation,
contracts and expands the germ of creation.
Music of other worlds magnificent,
infinite harmonic order so vigilant.
