The Apostle Paul speaks here earnestly
of the importance to be cleansed
from every defilement of sin
clearing the dirt through our spiritual lens
This cleansing comes in God's power
through his divine merciful grace
praying in and through His Holy Spirit
telling of His love in constant praise
Holiness is so important to God
as scripture tells He's triple holy
proclaiming His pure godly character
to be clothed in holiness solely
Let us live in the fear of God
making us complete in Christ's name
having a right reverential fear
pointing heavenwards our constant aim
Underline with priority these words
cleanse, defilement, holiness and fear
bring them to mind regular and often
hear God's spirit in your inner ear
('let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body[a] and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.')
2 Corinthians 7: 1 (ESV)
I stood in front of the mirror
As naked as could be
The goal was to make an estimation of me
I saw eyes
That overlooked truth for lies
In order to prepare a drink
For lips
That greedily sipped
To strengthen breasts
That harbored contention
To energize feet
That blindly followed the path of dissension
I stood in the front of the mirror
After scrubbing vigorously
The goal was to make an estimation of me
I saw a face
That was searching for forgiveness and grace
To be prepared with strength
So as to cleanse a heart
That had been ripped apart
In order to open a soul
That held the key
To unlock a truth
That launched real freedom and beauty
Every drop of rain
Suffer you feeling of pain
Cleanse you from within.
Wash your face
Before going to bed
If you're weak
Clean your heart
Feeling tired
Take a rest
For tomorrow
We'll never be
The same again.
As fall
shakes off leaves
to cleanse itself
I too
shake off worries
to relieve myself
SAND
airborne
dust devil
stinging whirligig
rips my hair, eyes, and skin
I’m well-scoured and abraded
“Cleansing sand storm, if I survive.”

“And into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul.” - John Muir
The forest is a calm spiritual place,
a balsam scented and serene space.
Rabbits hide in mossy dens,
with fresh mushroom gems.
Magical!
Cleanse.
Fanciful,
trees, flowers and stems.
Where creatures sleep and some race.
A place to treat with kindness and grace,
the forest is a calm spiritual place.

AUTUMN CLEANING CLEANSE Part Two.
From the birth canal Abated forth out of my mother’s womb;
At this point I was dirty, though they wiped me off with water and a towel cloth;
Still I was unclean now;
Why? Do I delay I callout His name? I draw near to Him with a sincere heart
Fill now of assured faith;
Now a man and drenched cleansed by His grace.
Mercy chose having my heart sprinkled clean from an evil conscience;
My body washed with pure;
Water I not draw near with the true heart and full of faith
This day I am cleansed
Autumn cleaning cleansed
I’ll cleansed by His pure waters
I am sanctified having been cleansed;
By the washing of waters with the Word Hallelujah Amen
AUTUMN CLEANING CLEANSE Part One.
It’s time for fall cleaning, a cleansing;
And in this the autumn of my life.
I’m retaking my vessel God has loaned me;
I’m cleaning His house renewing, rejuvenation, revising throwing out;
All things not of Him, Rejoicing in the joys of Him;
Following Him I shall be cleansed and remade new in Him;
This vessel shall be cleanse to house is a glorious autumn;
Autumn Cleaning cleanse

Anger does not cleanse the wounded soul;
Invites no healing to the bosom scarring
By thoughtless word or unintended scroll.
‘Tis more than hurt the mind so marring
Nurtures the malignancy that sears inside
Invites no healing to the bosom scarring—
The constant ache signals the ailing pride
Self-loathing eroding from deep within,
Nurtures the malignancy that sears inside.
More than merely misnomer’d fragile skin
One’s whole being suffers from self-defeat
Self-loathing eroding from deep within.
From crippling anger the soul must retreat
Before the whole personality is eaten alive
One’s whole being suffers from self-defeat.
One so consumed must want to thrive
Anger does not cleanse the wounded soul,
Before the whole personality is eaten alive
By thoughtless word or unintended scroll.
It's fate
The rain found me
It's relentless clicking, tapping, popping
On all it sees
Found me wandering through its grandest symphonies
Serenading me as I dance from
Limb to limb
Leaf to leaf
Life to life
Including my own
Which has been mighty thirsty
For this free, clean quenching drink.
(10/18/14)
Create a new heart within me Lord.
I pray Thee, renew my spirit,
That when Death comes for me and time is no more,
I will have no need to fear it.
Let me please You in all of my ways,
And let my words not offend Thee;
That when I stand before Your throne,
I'll have no need to fear when You judge me.
As a man thinks, so is he, You said,
So let my thoughts please You always.
Enter my mind and my heart this day,
That I'll not be barred at Your gateway.
Of all Your servants I'm far from the best,
And if not for Jesus I'm lost;
But He sought me and bought me with His Precious Blood,
And He didn't give thought to the cost.
Thank You My Father for Your Precious Son,
And thank You Dear Jesus for coming.
Because You have come now all things are new.
A bright new day is now dawning.
Amen
