Inspired by Bob Dylan's "Mississippi"
I was the backbone of your dream—
ribs shaped into beams,
my blood seeping slow,
cementing your tower’s base.
You promised a sky of stars,
a rise beyond all shadows—
but I was just a ghost
etched in your blueprint,
a whisper beneath your tower.
We built forever on lies,
stacking stones on my shoulders—
I was your ground,
your silent sacrifice,
the shadow no one names.
You spoke of freedom—
but all I felt was the weight,
a hollow echo in my bones.
You spoke of love—
and I swallowed the silence
you left behind.
Now the dream is dust,
the sky a fractured lie,
and I stand—
an empty scaffold,
a ruin in the wind.
You vanished in fire—
and I’m left to fall.

Tying the knot,
I thought sowed my soul.
Making me a better man,
But I discovered the lack.
Learning how to respect one another.
Loving another at the cost of loving myself.
Unrequited pain, a new form of loneliness.
The body exposing it through night terrors.
Ending with a big bang.
I rebirthed being alone.
In darkness He did his magic.
Cementing my non-negotiables.
Yet again I stand with another.
Uncomfortable comfortable.
Both of us with a checkered past.
Trepidation with hands on the wheel.
Wiser with a touch of grayscale.
A new kind of love we embark.
Both of us have probed for faults.
Scared of what seems perfection.
I stand with her having shaking hands.
And a fearful smile from my past.
I look over to see her response.
For once trepidation turns to tranquil.
She reads me like a book.
Caring where no one has before.
Nurturing my every wince.
The chips are landing perfectly.

the invisible threshold
i shall not hide
i shall not die
in fervors demeanors
mis-contraception
dedicate that grammar
under sheets i halt breads
nervous
nervous is samsara
the apprehension of sorrow
end sowing of silks
cursiffs
i am also finnish
regalitry and conformity
i thee web
backstrokes towards mercy
another strings pluck
without and gaunt
she labeled and i shrunk
guilded rembrandts
dethroned liberation
my carpentry
and my stones
cementing fences
learning tones
all as duty
and none as before
once again known breach
sand shall never relent
the shore is not bright

From life, when all else passes away
True love will stay and never ever decay
Defying all impediments, it will survive
Leaving sweet memories, it will thrive.
Cementing hearts, it will make life jubilant.
It is never manipulative or fraudulent
Love is a flame burning bright and true
A light house in the sea for mariners to view.
In ill health and poverty, it will never subside
In rain and heat, it will prosper and never fade.
It is staying together through highs and lows,
Even when years pass and life painfully slows.
It is not just a fleeting passion but a commitment.
A bond that will brave every predicament.
It is one of mutual loyalty, trust and care
A connection that is strong and rare.
Everything else is secondary, so hold it tight,
For it ‘s a beacon in the darkest night.

In the morning I heard the tea pot singing,
With the amber liquid sizzling,
Saw spouts of vapor ejecting,
With a sweet aroma tickling.
While pouring my cup of steaming tea,
Adding some cream, a little sugar and stirring it
I thought of the magic effect it brings,
Reviving us on every morning and keeping us fit.
As we sip it while we scan the news paper
We feel the early languor being lifted,
Keeping us hydrated throughout the day,
With our cognitive abilities liberally assisted.
I feel there is nothing like a cup of well blended tea,
For a tired soul to enliven his body.
It’s delicious taste and delicate fragrance,
Make it everyone’s lovesome buddy!
It’s a heavenly drink for the torpid minds,
A beverage brewed from the best of leaves.
A magic potion for the feverish lips,
Which in tiresome hours, everyone craves.
Sure, teatime is the most pleasant family time.
How we babble and burble over a cup of tea
Drawing people closer and cementing relations.
Certainly, it’s a time to look forward with glee.

Find xanthium' squeeze in a sigh
asking a righteous void, hear my entreat
hand to heart, in a beggar's sky
not just for myself,
not just for why...
Can a heart devoid of hope
seek to find salvation
from a Quentin Tarantino film
in a strange pulp voice
that sounded just like mine.
Your sin, my sins
vowed never relent..
nor let cementing cold take you
so don't despair..
Place two fingers, just beside your neck
feel it pulse?
it's you,
and you still care.
Search the world's underbelly
the meek and mild
little mouse infirm, the whooping crane strong, all us
no longer beguiled.
Roaming streets and back alleys
afraid to meet my neighbor's eye
I, the guilty
waiting a just reply.
It's a quarter past two,
last train leaves at three..
the sign at the platform's final end
stands glaring,
waiting a reprieve.
A proud primping Whooping crane calls out
'it's justice'..
All a lowly titmouse discerns,
'it's just us'.

Sometimes your road to glory
Will be filled with thorns
This would be an important aspect of your story!
An honest enemy is better than a false friend
Multiplying your talent and
Cementing the accuracy of your gift will
Often reveal the fact that friends can turn into foes
The souls of men and women are filled with hatred
When the matrix in your life changes that grant you an advantage!
An honest enemy is better than a false friend
You will raise the bar in your life
And you will see who are your real friends
If your progress brings a sudden shift in their attitude
Then they have signaled the commonality of hidden hypocrisy!
An honest enemy is better than a false friend
Sometimes your road to glory
Will be filled with thorns
This would be an important aspect of your story!

My dream was to build our dream house together ,
Brick by brick layering with love and laughter.
Stoke by stroke painting with care and affection,
Tile by tile cementing with sentiments and perfection.
But dreams are dreams not reality,
I soon came to know your immortality.
Month by month I screamed with agony and exploitation ,
Day by day I suffered with pain and exertion ,
Minute by minute I died with your betrayal and thinking of our separation.
Everyday I wish to turn back the time.
And think why can't you be mine.
Why my love is so stubborn and blind??

Droplets bled stained a star-spangled banner
Eagles clutch arrows guarding a nation’s manner
Marble marks the crypts of heroes
Orchards of Polycor Georgia marble honor their grassy graveyard
Citizens soldiers bled for the freedom and justice they guard
Rainbows span a nation’s expanse
Anchors of steel fuse resolve to et al
Cementing an Augustan wall
Yankee Doodle marching precedes liberty’s parade

he throws pebbles into the ocean
rings of suspense skim the surface
concentric waves ripple the storm
inside him that nags at his peace
his friend bites into a plum
and cracks a tooth
at a kernel of truth
hidden in the fruit of passion
sometimes both of them watch
a brick layer cementing foundation
solid walls that insinuate stability
but they wish to deconstruct
such a temporary illusion
far away she has committed no crime
‘other’ than being raped by a mob
the raging crowd tear off her veil
shred the Burka to pieces
and violate her modesty once again
as stones shatter her head
and her cracked skull yields
to some unwritten law
of honour killing and dogma
four lives of many
privilege
speechless injustice
separated and too close for comfort

Human being, a bundle of abundant emotions: Positive and Negative.
Choose it wisely......By Poet
A LIFE CYCLE: ENDLESS EMOTIONS
A smooth transition of emotions
From one stage to another one
From teeny-weeny to young age
Then adulthood to old age.
Infancy
Squeals with delight
Screech, scream, shriek with might
Bubbly and jolly
With full ETERNAL energy.
Young
Playful and carefree mischief
Cementing EVERLASTING friendship
Creating nostalgic memories
Wonderful ENDLESS queries.
Adulthood
With INFINITE ideas and aspirations
And a tinge of BOUNDLESS inspiration
With LIMITLESS solutions
Execute to make it happen.
Old age
BOTTOMLESS pool of love and experience
Lively, UNBROKEN spirit and patience
Contented and happy well-being
Strengthening the pillar of human being.

Setting down anchor to settle into soul,
stability guaranteed,
yet threat of cementing to concrete what I have in control.
My anchor is my stablility,
yet it feels too heavy of late;
I feel as if I cannot cast anchor,
to survey both what I want and need to explore.
My anchor is a blessing and curse,
both in how I use it and how it is used;
it keeps me stable and grounded,
yet so easily of late,
it keeps me cemented in place.
That which relaxes me of late has become utterly routine,
and while it settles me out to some degree,
I yearn to cast my anchor aside,
to feel free and be the soul I was meant to be.

I'm grieving
Rivers of tears down my cheeks
If I could only turn back time
I was going to rectify my mistakes
Polishing up my perfectness
I wasn't going to compare you with any soul
All my eyes I would put on you alone
Out of my pride and pompousness
The pride I could not swallow
I forced you out of my life
Thinking I was doing a noble deed
Without knowing I was messing up indeed
I could have nurtured our well of love
Sweeping around it
And cementing the cracks with my honesty
But I took a wrong pathway
I turned my back on you
I turned on a deaf ear to your advice
I thought I was too hot for you
Not knowing that my hotness was going to roast me
My heart is all burnt and now black
The smoke is just going upwards
Where everyone can see from a distance
I burnt myself by letting you go
I am all tainted with blisters all over me
I'm now grieving;
For there is no better you
You are irreplaceable
My heart yearns for your kisses of faithfulness
I long for those days,
We used to giggle like kindergarten kids
Now my dreams are all shattered
And only the gloominess of misgivings overshadows me
