I hear the way you talk
of your friends without end,
the gossip goes on non-stop,
about them and their men,
so vicious the things you say,
shock to see, candidly,
imagine what you must claim
about me, when you’re free…
Back it up,
take that sh-t elsewhere,
woman, I no longer care.
Pack it up,
The drama I’ll spare,
woman, I no longer care.
Eyes sparkle when thing go wrong,
like a beast set to feast,
all the chaos makes you strong,
that you seek, like a treat.
Relish when your friends get rough,
their beak-ups, you just love,
you can never get enough,
in your gut need this stuff.
Back it up,
take that sh-t elsewhere,
woman, I no longer care.
Pack it up,
the drama I’ll spare,
woman, I no longer care.
I see your words and lies
going around everywhere,
it makes you feel alive,
when all their mistakes you blare.
Makes you think you’re better,
your ego is a damn addict,
go peddle it online,
I have got no time for this.
Back it up,
take that sh-t elsewhere,
woman, I no longer care.
Pack it up,
the drama I’ll spare,
woman, I no longer care.
It will only end in despair.

Casted both bolted skullduggery
Sappily candidly preside barrowed bricks
Philanthropy balled head lettuce apple tree
Restted rustic gondola swaying hips

You say see it your way
Trying hard to convince
Me repeat what you say
Each word I painfully wince
Memory has sharp twists
Heavy mind candidly speaks
Reasons counted off lists
Your narrative has leaks
Nonsensical tremors control
The levers of guilt pulled
Relegated to a desperate role
Your idea of brainwashing sold

Miss Gladys the Welcome Wizard lady is here
She is full of sass, beyond an insane level of cheer
No one wants to let her in, we try to ignore the bell
She climbs in the front window, demolishing the sill.
Hi we say, faking a smile, pretending to be pleased.
She retains weird enthusiasm, her pitch a little wheezed.
We are yawning through her brochure-filled presentation
She feigns happiness, another welcome wizard celebration.
She gets paid for every family whom she annoys
On the way out, she stubs her toe on one of baby’s toys
We did not apologize, maybe this is why she is suing
But judge, we argue candidly, her getting in was not our doing.

the inhibitions fade
a slow, deliberate ritual
some beautiful
mostly terrifying
the glass, a chalice
cradles the forbidden
each drop, a fiery kiss
flowing when the world tilts
diving into the velvet nectar
foreknown implosion
indulgence ignites
amber tides cascade
over softened edges
an eager palate
laughter bubbles up
a joyous release
rhythmic intoxication
and the world spins
kaleidoscopes of color
unconsidered judgements
a hazy fog settles
self spite to commence
unrestrained truths
hidden beneath the surface
spew candidly in chaos
a marionette dancing
self strung schemer
with every clink
memories
brimming with stories untold,
fragmented like shattered glass
thousands of jagged shards
stained plentiful
disappointment
a lingering ache
bitter emptiness
the cruel hand of reality
Subdues and suffocates
disillusioned symphonies
of joy
shackles to sobriety

Imperfect indifferent ineffective Ivan Inglebritzen
Was wistfully, wildly, wantonly weird at work.
Not indispensable, but rather despicable, desperate and diabolical.
Cautious co-workers candidly discussed dozens of Ivan’s idiotic decisions.
Determined to alert Alvin, our alluring but not attentive boss.
Bernie, Beaver and Betty bellowed about his shoddy shortcomings.
Providing proof of Ivan’s problematic predictably imperfect performances.
astute assessments failed on prideful, persnickety, president Alvin.
asinine attempts at preventing Ivan from essential employment a bust.
These three did not know that Ivan was Alvin's caustic cousin.
Alvin kept him, not wanting him to crash on his cushy comfortable couch.

An Alliterative Pursuit Of A Lover
I will firstly frankly forwardly forthrightly fastidiously befriend you.
Then I will completely correctly courteously candidly chastely court you.
Then whencesoever I have wonderfully wackily warmly wooingly won wed you,
I’ll be free to laughingly longingly lustily lecherously lasciviously licentiously lengthily ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly
Gladly gently graciously gratefully gallantly grandly greatly love you forever.

Candidly I became the
Moon to your Sun
The light to your
Dark unlit sky
And yet if I could
But hold you again
An imaginary world
Where life crosses
Death love cures
All and you and I
Fly on an imaginary
Carpet to a world
Of unreputable strangers
Words not spoken
Life never ending
And a kiss that
Could breathe life
Into any corpse
Take my hand
Fly with me
My soul my love

By a gently flowing creek –
I saw a swallowtail flutter
About my head, as though meek –
And land softer than a feather.
He was large enough, I swear –
To sit in all of my hand.
He did not mind that I was there
Or that I was entranced.
Soon, a second butterfly
Distracted him by swooping down –
His mate, I surmised.
How fiercely they swirled around!
Then breaking up, they moored
To sup water from the red rock
Like two tasters of one accord
Complimenting the good stock.
They bathed in the glorious sun –
Posing candidly in a beam –
As if to show their dalliance
Off for the wide world to see
Then came a convenient wind;
The two undocked at bay –
And taking quick advantage –
They sailed playfully away.

In the dark recessions of the corpse canals,
Where the breaking of bones sounds the eerie air like the clanking of bells,
Where the tearing of tendons whistle and hiss,
Echoing across blood water lakes laced with piss.
Found deep within a Carcass Catacomb, where the restless undead candidly roam,
There are, unfortunately, the unlucky few who call this home.
Sunken cadaverous corpses sink restlessly, forever seeking to escape and flee,
If not entrapped within an infernal sea, suffering in blindness with naught to see.
There! Deep below swim the loathsome drowned, cursed to breathe the contagions of innumerable ilk whilst eerily unfound.
And so to the canals are they forever bound, with rotting bones whiter than milk,
flowing in a surrendering of flesh, bleached flags of corpse silk.

Blind to the words she heard
The written song he spoke
And though he spoke it candidly
The notes about her broke
The words were formed as music
They crooned, and sought the air
Alighting briefly by her ear
– They caught her unaware
The song he sang was breathless
Tumultuous, yet calm
Beneath the earnest candor
The truth a swirling storm
The message it delivered
Would satisfy a life
Did not her answer thunder
And – like lightning – strike!
So like the wave that crashes
Against the rocky shore
Whose churning sound is buried
Beneath the next one’s roar
His message fell unbidden
Without acknowledgement
And back into the ocean went
The bottle he had sent

My friend Sophie says there is no honor among thieves
she'd steal your man if he likes to creep
then rationalize away any sense of shame
saying if no one is married it's just another thang
My friend Sophie speaks of pride and choice
a hint of ambition is casting her voice
Candidly she told me she'll gladly trade
job for kid husband and apron today
My friend Sophie will be too old soon
says her ovaries ache and swell like the moon
Sophie has laughs she lives and she lusts
I hope God blesses Sophie with true love.

I miss you only if you miss my smile
I desire you only if you like my style
I always do my best and will continue to do so
You enjoy my impromptu speech and tempo
You know that I am opinionated
I express myself freely and overtly like Ed
One of my favorite politicians
Indeed, a masterly eloquent *****sapiens
I say what I have to say fearlessly and candidly
I do care a lot; yes. Yes, I do care immensely
You know exactly what to do now
Don't ask me why, what, who and how
Be very pretty tonight and do the chores
I'll be ready. Don't forget to fix the doors.
