Quaint email address,
creative, ancient greek to,
me, is not the word!
fiendish password one,
might draw blank? that first email,
dispatched, to myself!
hiccups in between,
topic, text field, message failed,
my fault? well never!
While wading in the water
caught a wet soft-bodied squid
took it home for dinner
but the evening was a damp squib
I don't think ink but due to
an unrequited one-way conversation
neither returned nor reciprocated
on my part quite the aberration
courtship was not to be
for as a voracious marine carnivore
I could not sate her hunger
as had insufficient albacore
therefore not a keeper
what's more a pet one cannot tame
next day all things considered and quite timely
'twas returned to the sea from whence she came

Once in a great while the heart is simply struck
And rings out like a tuning fork to the nearby heart that struck it.
The two ring out together in discordant harmony
At first the noise is nothing but a brilliant symphony.
In time the notes come clearer, but this is when you hear
The sharps and flats and missed half-steps which at first endeared
How I wish that I could sing a song you would believe
But I’d not disguise the cracking sound of notes I can’t sustain.
The songs we sing into the world are bright and clear and true,
But you are right, I am afraid, I cannot sing like you.
How I hope that I might somehow match
The soaring high soprano that will surely be your path.
I must be a tenor, not that either is the lesser,
You’ve said the difference means that parting might be better.
I would miss you and I will mourn if no arrangement can be made,
But I think you’ll always strike me from your side of the stage.
Dare to venture.
It's a small thing.
It's a different thing,
But has great dividends.
It's practically painless,
And is absolutely priceless.
Dare to venture.
For just a little while,
Break from the norm
Like a mild rainstoSea.
Dare to venture.
Sometimes, continuity
Adversely affects our sanity.
So, for just a little while,
Insert a little adventure, and
Get out, take off and breakaway
From the drudgery of normality.
Dare to venture.
Take a flight you've never flown,
At least 2000 miles from home.
Take a cruise on the deep blue sea.
Take a long slow ride by railway,
Where timelines are hard to tell.
Board a bus and relax a while.
Take a ride on a route that you
never planned, in a vehicle
That you've never driven.
I’m going kayaking to the North Sea
taking my pet wet seal with me
I will paddle my way through choppy ice
surviving on luxurious baked beans and rice
my pick axe will go to make ice bricks
I’ll teach wet seal to do great magic tricks
All I need is a kayak and a new pick axe
Tell me goodbye; don’t give me the facts
I am determined, that’s north, is it not?
Uh-oh the wet seal has a cold with horrible green snot
We are in no hurry, we can go another day
His face is turning sickly, a mean shade of dull gray.
In better days of better ways we chanced upon the mind
Of great and grand adventure, of great and grand design
To sail the open seas coursing near and far
Uncharted in the ways, unguided by the stars
At the mercy of the wind we vied the stormy seas
To mount the raging crests and weather in the lees
Onward ever onward past reasons reach we strove
To gather to our breasts the sum of wisdoms trove
Weeks of rigorous preparation are now complete
As the journey up the mountain begins I can not accept defeat
My goal is to obtain the worlds most ultimate view
I know I must go beyond physical and mental endurance to follow through
I start to feel breathless reaching for the sky
The higher I go, struggling through the bitter cold and deep snow I try not to cry
A flock of birds glides right by me in perfect flight
The sunshine is so brilliant such a perfect site
My dream of reaching the peak is about to come true
As the clouds break apart the top is in plain view
I finally arrive fighting incredible fatigue and nauseating pain
A sense of great accomplishment for conquering the terrain
Intersection of
Overwhelmed & Exhausted
A decision to make
Venture out onto that
Autobahn of Freeways
Shake & Bake
Wide Awake & Overtake...
Turn the other way
Crash & Burn
Maddening price to pay
Yet ~
Overwhelmed & Exhausted
A DECISION to make
I want this venture to spread wide
And her first walk a giant stride.
So, let's face things from every side,
Checking, wisely, losing man's pride...
Some had this tried and later cried
For lent ears to cut and dried,
Besides who shall have the sweet bride:
Who, in deed, should the horse first ride?
What I now see: men who schemes hide'
To whom hope of true change had died:
Guys who can Satan's - type time bide
And have Christ nine times denied!
Let him fly who can also glide:
His truth: he'd many times lied
In the honey of your delights
I surrender to your caresses:
in uncontrollable delirium !!
Bondage life get you wrapped up in a cage
A love can free you from traumatic haze
You get your life to explore and venture
Obstacles will not be a hindrance for your future
Get out of your trauma and bound of house cage.
The park moving
with the kids playing there
the pleasant chat coming back
chair back to the balcony
the cult of renewed faith
without any agony
rediscover parish
reign joy again
renew the antique rites
visit friends
So be post-pandemic life...
living the world without strife !

Living is an opened wound,
paths collide,
beating beings
exterminate themselves
immolate...
Once in a while love...!
Between seedlings
of jasmines,
daisies,
my violets
orchestra of a thousand
flowers touch
nature...
elegant orchids
dance in the afternoons
of life, ferns
light greens greet
the newly arrived flowers.
large hands
tiny ones
Caring, and
delicate fingers
handling...
myriad of little plants
jewelry...
My feelings
in between these
flowers omens
of happiness
i sense us
a thousand odors...
I do the pruning
of my mistakes
and at that time,
my soul
renewed dresses,
it's love
outcrops...!
