Flower with head bowed,
Walking among the noise,
Yet the Christ has said,
‘She is adorned with splendor’,
Yet feels the pull of darkness.

Valentines Day Always Found Me Quiver and Bowed Over

Valentines Day always found me quiver and bowed over

Ring with no feather in my cap only envy
at handsome man drakes with bucks,
who could bank on "hot chicks" willingly
aligned in arrow emitting clucks
fluffing their respective tail feathers amidst
loud squawking out quacking

establishing pecking order like ducks,
or any other foxy fowl billetted
within walled din noisy hen house
(yepper blame

timber ~ echoes loud
             silent treetop in the clouds

Bowed Head, Low Heart

Any given day
Driving through town
Rushing to work
Heading home
Shopping

A glance out the window
A lonely figure
Bowed head
Desperation
A cardboard sign
Asking for help

What thoughts in his mind
What thoughts of me
No eye contact
No time to stop
Numb
Conditioned

Time to change
Low heart

Bowed Into the Eerie Silence of the Grave -Anaphora

Where are the brave, those men of courage?
Where are the pious people of God?
Where are the Good who stand and rage,
Where are their voices, the views they had?

Where are the ancient values treasured?
Where are the truths their fathers died for?
Where are the ones whose anthems measured
The passion, endearment for the land they adore?

Bowed into the

All Bowed Before the Newborn

All bowed before the newborn
In that stable forlorn
Shepherds and their beasts
And the magi from the east
The noble men of wealth
Concerned about his heath
Gave gifts of myrrh, frankincense and gold
Gifts his tiny hands could not hold
And at the centre of this scene
Slept the young King serene

The Sun Bowed Down To Me

The sun bowed down to me
Has sent its brightest gleam
Of violet hues aglow its beams
Immersed my soul whole with its heat
To beg my heart to trust its plea.

My fears I lay aside for Thee
Choosing to believe Thy flares of heat
That soothed my yearning soul to peace
Aware Thy light my fears have freed
My heart complete I

Premium MemberHis Head Bowed

Warrior of battle
A leader of men
Triumphant in victory
In his Highland glens

His followers unite
In battle ready clans
Willing to die
As they fight for their lands

Burns run red
As thatched crofts burn
To lead ones clan
Is birthed and earned

Lowlanders, fellow Highlanders
In claymore cull
From John O' Groats
To the Isle of Mull

Many campaigns
In week long march
To leave your enemies
Their communities torched

Warrior

Heart Bowed

My heart is bowed
             in suffering,
        And all around me
            seems dark,
     My understanding fails

Heads Bowed (Breakdown)

Existence sprout from follicles as life begins to grow
Her bosom reeks of fertile soil, her smile reminds of birth
The shallow grave of glowing pride shall question what we know
When sitting at the breakfast table of our mother earth
Who strips her soul and bears our burden, shadowed in turmoil
She feeds our minds and bodies and in
