Not all the times...nor never...not always for evil purposes -- sometimes to protect. Often, not consciously. Sometimes to deceive...sometimes to be compassionate. Sometimes to inflict pain...and sometimes to save others from worry, when shielding from the inevitable. No one knows the truth. So we lie constantly, all of us, out of ignorance. The bible helps light the way, but it is yet a reflection of truth...for seen darkly through clouded eyes of limited, personal experience. All judgement of men I leave to God. Though I will judge behavior, for my own good and my perceived good for society. Just my opinion for the little it is probably worth.
