A HEART OF GOLD
A
Symbol of a
Seraphic being you are,
For to the hopeless, without a
Behest a chest of hope on a platter
Of silver you offered, and the cold
Maimed, with your fur, warmth
You gave.
To
The feeble minded
In the battle against cruel fate.
Courage for conquest you gave.
To the ravenous innards, through
The darkest ravine undaunted
You trod to feed.
The
Cleaved hearts from
Belied oath of love,
Solace, found in your
Salving speech.
The solitariness fissured hearts
In your companionship suture found.
Nothing
Have I seen,
That you would begrudge
For a heart of gold you have
Even your life, you would as lief
As the celestial liege give.
For his nature, in you reflects.
He, though, just a pearl had, but on
The altar of love down laid him.
For the hallowed carmine from his
Sinew our flaws to blot.
Oh
How like the sun you are
For though we are by distance barred.
Yet, the warmth of your benign rays
Here I feel.

A Miracle Gift, From HOLY GOD ABOVE
From whence come these words, this laud, this acclaim;
‘Tis true I can rhyme my thoughts, my feelings;
From whence comes this doorway, pathway to fame;
Honor thou offer - my heart is reeling;
From whence comes the care and grace of your praise;
‘Tis true I have sought to write for your vote;
From whence comes honor my poetry raised;
Judgment thou offer - a glorious note;
From whence comes acceptance deep in my soul;
‘Tis true now I bow on my bended knee;
From whence comes praise, for my heart is now full;
This laud I return, accept it I plead.
How do I thank thee; I do not have a way.
This humble thanksgiving, take it, I pray.
In Darkness; I see YOUR LOVE
Emanating From the “ Stars “ ABOVE “
The SUNRISE : grasps YOUR Loving WARMTH
My loins burn ; with the Warmth of YOUR LOVE

You're an Angel in my heart, an Angel in my mind.
I pray that the Lord blesses you for being so kind.
I'm blessed with your presence each and every day.
I see that the Lord is with you every step along the way!!
I don't know much about you, but your heart is full of love.
Deep in my heart I know that you're an Angel sent from up above!!
So with this in heart and this in mind,
Thank You My Angel for being so kind!
Ray of sunshine peers provocatively out of the misty gray
Be assured your fervent feelings I will not betray
Thank you for confirming that love lives to find a way
Thank you for opening your happy heart to me today
Thank you for keeping my foolish fears at bay
Thank you for finally freeing my soul of its dismay
Thank you for striving my sadness to allay
Thank you for responses, replies without delay
Thank you for healing hurts that heavily weigh
Thank you for not tearing or toying with my heart in play
Thank you cannot completely express all I wish to say
Thank you seems such a simple, understated way to convey
Your gifts are so stunning, a brilliant bouquet
The joy I have found from you, your sunshine, your ray
For Adeleke’s “Through… thoughtful and thankful” contest
Kindness and sweet words always from you...
A caring Lady with a heart that is so true...
Never negative or harsh with your lines...
A glow from your smile that always shines..
Never seen you in person, just a picture and gleam..
Your poems and expressions create a wonderful dream..
Jersey is lucky to have a lady with such class and grace..
Although a state away I can still feel and embrace..
You have encouraged me to write more and share my soul...
Too share my inner thoughts and a heart not cold...
Who know's in the future if our paths may cross, and if we
didn't if would sure be a loss..
This poem is dedicated to my loving dad who has helped me through a lot of "spiritual sleep"
I love you dad.
My spirit drifted off, and fell asleep,
The slumber it's in, is very deep.
The light has left, everything's black,
It's very dark. I can't find my way back.
My heart is fragile, easy to break,
Crafted of thin paper, neatly taped.
Emotion is nothing, feling so numb,
My heart still beats a steady drum.
Looking for a savior to finally wake me,
Remember? I'm fragile, please don't break me.
The chains of sleep gently fell over,
Now I'm lost in fields of dreamy clover.
I see your gentle hands, coming to the rescue,
I can't even express how much I want to thank you.
You reached in, found my spirit somewhere deep,
Lifted it up, and destroyed the chains of sleep.
Now I'm awake, feeling so aware!
Looking back on how long I was really there.
It's hard to imagine how dead I really felt,
And part of the reason was, because I never knelt.
Now I know what I must do, what I have to say;
Gratitude to God, ask blessings, and pray.
Ask for forgiveness, try to become one,
I can't fall asleep under the rays of the sun.
The Heart Pounds,
It's not Mine,
It can't Be.
It's Unfamiliar.
My Chest Expands
To A Beat Thats Overpowering.
I Don't Understand Anymore.
Poetically, Painfully, Panicked.
Put My Hand To Your Heart,
Slow Me Down.
Time Stops.
I Have Inhaled Pure, Paranoia Concentrate.
I warn you
My Heart Will Stop
I Can't Make It Through This.
Then, My Heartbeat Drops
Thank you.
I told you there would be some days like these...
Not to many but if so Im here to help them ease..
I promised a while back Id take your heart and keep it safe.
I might have let you down at times but all the time I never swayed..
Secrets in the dark we told of days we took a different road...
You never question my intentions and always tried to share the load..
So here we are today , grown from all that has spilled in our way..
Took a fall or two, but always learned to get back and have our say
So with this pen and not my hands I could show the world another man..
And with your heart I hold so dear ,with gratitude my words you will hear...
The sun bowed down to me
Has sent its brightest gleam
Of violet hues aglow its beams
Immersed my soul whole with its heat
To beg my heart to trust its plea.
My fears I lay aside for Thee
Choosing to believe Thy flares of heat
That soothed my yearning soul to peace
Aware Thy light my fears have freed
My heart complete I give to Thee.
The sun bowed down to me
Unworthy is the way I feel
Return to you Thy love I seek
To live my life in thanking Thee
For never will I your side leave.

Light brown : almost hazel eyes Caressing my Heart with LOVE
Always full of LOVE Knowing they own me
2 Eyes with flecks of green 5 My Barbara Jean
