Red-wing blackbirds symbolize protection, good luck, and even prosperity. They’re a reminder that something else is out there watching over us and guiding us when necessary - Quote by Vanessa K. Eccles
---------------------------------------
Zorro of lakeshores, coasts,
waterholes amidst tall reeds
Redkissed on wings, nicely earned
proud yellow shining badges,
worries so much over his
subdued, streaky brown missus
bossing around claiming digs,
ruling the roost, many gals -
fearless keeper of his lot
he whistles, she chatters mild
Oh runescape, oh old school
How someone once gave me rope and chair and knife.
That noob was such a fool.
I have also been a wife.
From rs girlfriends to bots and scammers.
We go through the wilderness and 99's.
Catching chins and pounding our hammers.
The player base declines.
From the bossing and raiding to the questers and sweats.
Raise your crystal grail.
Throw your nets.
And stop trying on that goblin mail.
From killing dragons to dropping red spiders eggs during that time of month at the GE.
To your imbued heart being mine.
And by the way, he is not a she.
Here's to 92 being half of 99
The bossiest kindergarten girls ended up in the same class in first grade.
I could not believe it, because we had three classes to choose from.
But here, they were directing, instructing, bossing, and arguing.
I could hardly do a lesson with their loud bossy ways.
I wondered how the first year teacher was coping.
Then I noticed she was wiggling with what might have been music.
Wearing ear plugs while I was in there?
I have to say I admired her for this.
This gave her thirty minutes of not hearing them.
I cannot imagine how she gets through the rest of the day though.
They are truly the bossiest three I have seen in almost thirty-years of teaching.

* BIA= Bureau of Indian Affairs
aka "Bossing Indians Around"
I told the mama on the phone, "one of you has to be the adult
And it cannot be your five-year old child. That is not fair."
She came gunning for me after my next class.
I was horrified, but went to my office to see what she wanted.
She began bawling. She was pregnant and needed a nap.
I told the school nurse to stop calling her to bring him home early daily.
Bossing two adults in one day.
I never do that, but I did.
And guess what? It worked.
The next week, this mommy called me and thanked me over and over.
She's there when you don't want her
bossing you around
But when you really need her
she's just flown out-of-town
She's quite opinionated
you wouldn't call her shy
When you haven't asked her
she's apt to criticize
She visits every summer
arriving with no warning
Thinking she'll surprise you
at two or so in the morning
She's full of idiosyncracies
despises all your pets
Be sure to serve her turtle soup
keep her stocked with cigarettes
This year though is different
she's not leaving for ten weeks
Good thing you're God-fearing
you'll just turn the other cheek
A mind spiralling out of control
A thought on a thin line of truth and lie
A heart cut in a few places and sewn together by an everlasting dream, but then again ripped out of balance
What is there to do?
He says he wants to be with me, yet he runs away from life’s curveball’s dodging it no running from it
Like a stray dog running away from pain
There’s a mind spiralling out of control
A heart almost broken
And words that are too hard to be spoken
That's life
Life's way of BOSSING one over and over yet again.
The whispers of the wind tries to calm the pain yet the ever present question remains … who am I to keep him from his dream.
Spare a prayer for my fair Lady Spouse
Her last sigh was as shy as a mouse
She died in the snow
A moment ago
Frozen numb coming from the outhouse*
*Many Native Americans live in homes without electricity, plumbing, or heating, and Trump's shutdown of the BIA ( "Bossing Indians Around") prevented the sale of permits which allow Native Americans to collect firewood on their own land.
Leader
Confident, assertive
Leading, aiding, helping,
Friends, admirers, haters, destroyers
Gossiping, bossing, glaring
Passive, aggressive
Follower
He rarely smiles but does his job
With serious intent,
Protecting lives as his demeanor
Makes quite evident.
He strides into the street so that
When children make the crossing,
The cars hold up, respectful of
Just who is out there bossing.
At times, within the intersection,
Traffic starts to inch.
His hand shoots up, a signal
Like a small but painful pinch.
It does the trick and drivers wait,
Impatient though they are,
For if a winner were declared,
It wouldn’t be a car.
"Simple Task"
Live and let live, cause never any harm.
Not only is this right, herein lies our charm.
For there is no good in bullying and bossing;
As it reflects on us, self respect we're tossing.
A little bit of consideration goes a very long way,
Yet, it costs us nothing to dispense and/or display.
Remember, what we give, will also be returned.
If we harm others' hearts, we can expect our own burned.
If we think before we speak, carefully review
Our words before unleashed, given their debut,
We can spare the hearts of others any needless pain
And our own we spare the unpleasantness of disdain.
Live and let live, treat others as we want to be
And the peacefulness obtained along with harmony,
Will make our life a joy in which we can bask
Simply because we carried out a very Simple Task.

Another State of Shock
We are in all another state of shock;
The school district media did block;
Problems causing,
And around bossing;
Of happenings should be taking stock.

Media Block Caused Shock
We are still in a state of shock;
School district media did block;
Problems causing;
Around bossing;
Of happenings start taking stock.

THE RISE OF FEMINISM
Feminism once constricted within four walls,
turning women into mere puppet dolls.
Tossed around like footballs.
Those “mighty men” standing all tall,
rejoice watching a women's downfall
Today's women hang around in malls,
sharing their happiness and sorrow with pals.
Soon came a show time for women to shine,
those chauvinists viewed it as a crime.
Women opened their small stalls,
strengthening their future with a firewall,
protecting themselves from a man's maul.
While their lives were at stake,
they realized their mistake.
Being subjected to a man's judgment,
attained their path to achievement,
which was not a piece of cake.
Women took great leaps and bounds,
stopping men from bossing around.
Men and women found common grounds.
Both striving hard to earn a pound.
Inaugurating their enterprise with a ribbon,
empowered strong independent women.
Their success stories retelling their hardship.
Battles fought aside a man's dictatorship,
cherishing this era …,
THE WORLD OF WOMEN WORSHIP!!
