Premium MemberWhen You Borrow Money

When you borrow money you never stay paid
Some lenders you seem to owe until you hit the grave
They become that extra bill you didn't want in the place
Trying to pay them back and not to make them chase
In a system that causes us to borrow from one to pay another
Almost makes you want to refuse any help given and to suffer
It seems as though you have to report your movements in life
Explaining every detail if your payment isn't right
It doesn't matter if you have paid on time in the past
They seem to want their money back and want it back fast
Each week worked for you're trying harder to get out of debt
Receiving your check wishing your gross amount was your net
You ever been trapped in a maze and can't find your way out
That's what borrowing would lead to so never take that route

Life is not a bed roses

As I see a leaf fall apart
I see the love that depart
The roads are paved with stones like needle
I always walk through pain that moodle
Oh God deliver thy happiness
Give me sorrows
For that I am from the burrow

Premium MemberBeneath the Lamplights We'D Borrow

In the dusting of the Springtime
when Winter's breath would fall away
the buds of Spring's birthing would climb
memories of yesterday stay
when guitars played along the lane
and filled our hearts with soft romance
as lovers, we enjoyed the rain
and felt warm raindrops with our dance
giving no thought to tomorrow
as we moved in the night of Spring
beneath the lamplights, we'd borrow
as the songs in our hearts would sing
timeless moments of love at play
sweet-scented thoughts of yesterday

Premium MemberCan I Borrow Your Bong

Muggle catching monster with your four eyes strong
To follow you from place to place might be simply wrong
Your fuzzy furry hairy head needs trimmed, it is way too long
Your incisors have the length of a skinny king kong
Some people have said you look like a total ding dong.
I like you forever though; can I borrow your bong?

BORROW BORROW

Mebo mebo
Borrow borrow nation of the world
They cant stop
The wont stop

The whole nation is plunged in debt
The nation never stops borrowing
The world keeps lending
The agony is never ending

Billions today
Trillions tomorrow
But we still need more
Pouring money into meaningless pursuits

If a nation plunges her people into debts
One expects developments
But none in sight
Please what animal is accused again?

Okay lets go for another two billion dollars
This time we use it for farming
Along the way
An antelope will come and eat the money

An antelope building a multi-billionaira mansion in his village
Or one adding to his fleet of cars
At the end when appropriation is done
Only one percent development is recorded

Shall we go for another loan?
This time for education
Pay educators well
Or continue the same tradition?

Meeeh! Educators are good
Because tomorrow
A snake will do the swallow
And we continue promising everybody a better life.

Shall we go for another loan?

To Borrow, Means To Return
Miracle man

I often lose tools through friends who hijack,
so if you borrow my tools please bring them back.

Missing tools can create a hardship when tasking,
and causes me, the embarrassment of asking.

Some must think age is a synonym for fool,
people I hire,(often innocently) take a tool.

A wrench or ratchet that remained in their clutch,
they don’t see a friend, but just soft touch.

I believe a person reaps from seeds they’ve sown,
my simple solution would be to buy their own.

Then they’d ask to borrow the money for that,
They never show up just for a friendly chat.

Borrow My Heart

Take my heart cause yours are broken
Borrow my smile if you need it
I will give you my life
just to make you alive

Give me one more try
let me love you on my way
cause yours is harder to top
I can't give what you want
or how much you deserve
I can give you my time
give you my hope and my dreams
Don't take my nightmares
Take anything else you want

Just don't go
Don't take the bus and drive
cause I can't run after it
Even if i try
Don't take the plane and fly
cause i don't want you to fly alone

Don't let the heartbeat die
cause i want it close to my ears
I want to listen at your breath
take my arms around you and listen
at your body

Cause " I love you”

Premium MemberNeither Borrow Nor Lend

Never count money not held in your hand,
and never stand good for the debts of a friend;
For some never learn though they grow old and feeble.
It pays to use caution when dealing with people.

Beg Steal Or Borrow...Live For Tomorrow

                                Metallic gray skies...the fledgling dies

                                Winter grieves...tainted leaves

                                Severed hand...barren land

                                Empty farm...sound alarm

                                Rotting hay...horses astray

                                Fractured horn...plough forlorn

                                Dried up stream...forsaken dream

Beg steal or borrow...live for tomorrow

Give me two cents rate

Drinking In Sorrow

The man in the isolated bar
Had come in a dust-engulfed car
From a destination, very far
Like the far-flung star:
Via routes of more sand and less tar.
Now, drinking to be calm,
The stuff, a believed balm
His cup plastered to his palm
Not likely to occasion him any harm…
It’d been the poorest harvest in his farm!
A drinking in sorrow
By one bound to borrow,
Certain that this life is hollow
And it’s best of tracks, not one to follow.

Can I Borrow Your Pliers

Can I borrow your pliers?
As I really want to rid myself of this ring in my nose,
How it got there nobody knows.

I am being led to places I don't want to go,
And my brain is starting to slow,
My immunity is dangerously low.

My computer is no help,
You can hear me yelp,
As I feel it gives me less control than a piece of kelp.

My chain is constantly being yanked,
By those paid to see me, pranked,
My chain preventing me from seeing them thanked.

My family are even worse off than me,
I need to tie them to a tree,
To prevent them going on a spending spree.

Can I please borrow your pliers?
So I can go to places and sites,
To find more than just fakes.

Premium MemberCould I Borrow a Cup of Sugar

At first it was sugar
Could I spare a cup?
Don’t be silly, I replied.
Being new, I did not understand
It was not going to be just a one-time thing.
I sent her home with an unopened ten pound bag.
She would replace it on Tuesday.
That was ten years ago, I never found out which Tuesday.
Last week she came over to borrow my car.
I felt like a hard ass, but I said “no”.
She banged it up the last three times,
and I already gave her my husband.

Could I borrow cup of toilet paper?
Asked old gentleman named Mr Saber
Slammed door in face
Without much grace
Not very polite this fearful neighbor
