                                Metallic gray skies...the fledgling dies

                                Winter grieves...tainted leaves

                                Severed hand...barren land

                                Empty farm...sound alarm

                                Rotting hay...horses astray

                                Fractured horn...plough forlorn

                                Dried up stream...forsaken dream

                                Beg steal or borrow...live for tomorrow
