Borrowed Book

The complex secret of life
is simplicity itself:
you're born, you live and you die.
It is a well-thumbed book with
incomprehensible text
which you borrow, you read and
then pass it on to the next.

I like this one Pascal! A well-thumbed book with incomprehensible text indeed! Good one!

Interesting concept, Pascal ! The parameters are simple though I don’t understand we borrow the entire book ~ perhaps a couple of paragraphs > each its own story & own lessons. Have a beautiful weekend.,🎉

Good alternative, Ghairo. However it would be a very heavy tome to pass on to the next. Thank you for your visit and enjoy your Spring weather. I miss your country so much!

If only life was that simple. Still, it fell into this poem nicely. Glad you enjoyed it.
