Gangs in the Cape Flats
are like wild cats
it does not matter who they come across
for you it can come across as a great loss
In an instant
They can become violent
Killing is in their blood
Like a flash flood
Harming people is what they do best
A life that everybody detest
Their lives are like a bad potion
Filled with poison
They will kill, rape and destroy
And take away people’s joy
All this can happen instantly
Without any dignity
Gang members only have respect for self
Only having respect for one self
Never showing respect for each other
Not even for a blood brother
To them poison is more like death
Like taking their last breath
Dying a slow death,
until taking their last breath
Never in a day
Will they go through in a good way.
The only way
Is by being the prey.
Happy birthday to my big brother,
Our family celebrates him together,
As he continue venturing further.
He is a blood brother like no other,
Enjoy your day in this cold weather.
He has been a part of my gleam,
And today is a special day for him,
Together we make the best team,
I pray that God will fulfill your dream,
May your blessings flow like a stream.
For supporting me when I was down,
Rescuing me before I could drown,
And taking care of me like am your own,
From the time I was little till now am grown,

The Complexity Of Human Life.
In my view,one cannot wholly understand the other no matter how much of friends they are.
Even relatives can't in any way arrive at this about each other.
Not even someone with whom you have shared a bed for years.One of the abilities that the creator withheld from from us (humans) during the process of creation is knowing what the other person really has in mind or at heart and surely this continues to be the main influence of inevitable mystery about each other.
You can be at table with someone that is planning to have you totally brought down and destroyed while laughing and doing high fives,generally 'enjoying'. It's possible and I believe this has happened in many instances before.
You be madly mad at someone who wishes you all the best in your endeavors.This too is very possible and I believe it also has happened before.
We continually try to impress people that really have shown us that our advances are unappreciated persistently with hope of a change in mind.
In very normal situations,a blood brother/sister can deny any form of relation to you in situations where he he/she is in pursuit of person gain.
And yet again...
Special handshake
Blood brothers
Boards, nails free wood found
Hidden so none could see
No girls
Growing old
Just a memory
Still blood brothers
Clubhouse disappeared
Life's Real clubhouse
Mortgage payment
Wife new member this girl okay
Children await membership
Last clubhouse

Have you forgotten the zeal of our
Union as school mates now you
Leave me like others has gambled me
In and out like a rejected wisdom
With sick children without shelter

I dont have a full blood brother
or sister no one too close to help
I am just telling the truth
we all are going nuts
people with the same blood thats blue
organs the same guts
the white man is America the land of the free.......
no the land of the most insane and we
are built because of mutts
equality is all I am trying to say
brother sister we are built from the same human D.N.A.
no matter the color of your skin and how they portray
any race I think we should all get a little more taste

once you are caught with a fog
lay down your egg
my blood brother.
My childhood friend, my blood brother
We did a lot of fun things together
Playing carom, table tennis and skating
You were the dull school boy
My eyes were always pained
To see you struggle through school
The painting on the wall of the little boy in tears
Always reminded me of you
And so I kept a close watch
To give your dull mind a spark
Now and then teaching you, stoking your inner fire
What a fine eagle you turned out
Life’s battle you have won
Whereas I have lost one and all
We have now parted ways
You are now wrapped up with another
And I in my lonely mansion with father and mother.
I am black,
and you are white, my friend
On the surface, it would seem
we are two completely different human beings
But cut me,
watch me bleed
This is where we share our common bond of unity
It's in the blood, brother
Our blood is the same as one another,
our blood is all the same color
Scarlet are my sins,
color me bloody red ...
I have been spiritually dead
But I got revived,
born again
Now I have a new set of eyes;
I see everyone as my sister and brother,
my family is your father and mother
Yes, cut me,
watch me bleed
My heart bleeds for peace and harmony
Blood brothers let us all be,
let love multiply, let love abound aplenty
It's in the blood, sister
Our blood is the same as one another,
our blood is all the same color
Just try to imagine,
A world free of lies,
Where within,
Never a lover cries.
Hopefully I can do better,
Than the men who came before,
No tears upon your sweater,
You will be hurt no more.
But you say you'll never trust me,
For I am just another,
That will never come to be,
Just another non blood brother.
So I have found a home,
Of people with the same tone,
Which is that of a sad tome,
Welcome brethren; to the friend-zone.

Brothers on the beach,
Seaside in reach,
The two amigos,
Blood brother bros,
Fraternals and kin,
Pals and companions,
Sidekicks and playmates,
Coastline siblings,
Buddies in the shingles,
A forever brother band,
Golden memories of the strand.
Breathing underwater
Deep in the arctic
Yet my skin grows hotter
Bench pressing the weight
Of the world without a spotter
No creature is scarier
Than the human monster
Been told to go kill myself
By my own loving father
Hated and despised
By my own blood brother
Now you know why I'm
Too much of a renegade to act proper
Razor blades and grenades
Underneath my pillow covers
Can't wait for tomorrow
And see what I'll discover
Her heart pounded like the zulu drum

Her friend died from there
when the sailed the boat and left her
on that punishment island
In Kigezi its like that
The neighborhood is even worse
where her cousin got married
A pregnant woman is thrown
down the cliff by a blood brother
Its a tradition that was brought by the fore fathers
Now maria knows what has happened to her
She has missed her periods for two months
Her mother is about to know
Because she has a critical eye
She knows her father will kill her
Her uncle wont say the truth
That he is responsible
For the pregnancy
Maria knows the stories
when you are pregnant
you are left there all alone to starve and die
or a man who has failed to get a woman on the village
will come and take you as his own
He become a property and a slave
She didn't know what to do
who to trust this with
where to run to
she chose
to remain silent
and wait for her
fate
on
the punishment island
A Friend Such as Him
His Love and Friendship I do not doubt
Never have I once seen him distraught
Not his blood brother, not half related,
He grooms another with teeth serrated.
Grudges in his Heart, has he ever kept?
Spirit does not wane; his Eye never wept.
A serene Slave turning another cheek-
In a Dog a Heart of Patience do seek!
***Inspired by a Dog scratching another- wondering how the hell he would know where he has an itch and for what benefit!
***The only time a human being comes so close, is when he is robbing another!
***Should you bestow your heart to Dogs, you're assured of genuine friendship!
