Was the grandest parade of the year
I saw the king's carriage pass by
Then suddenly I started twitching
As dust gathered in my right eye
I was blinking in a panicked mode
And I thought I had been unseen
But the soldier that arrested me
Swore I was flirting with the queen
The mind is racing frantically
With each ticking of the clock
It won't be long 'till they come for me
And lead me to the chopping block
Had my time in a kangaroo court
Where not a single truth was said
In the end the judge's smile was wide
When he declared "off with his head"
They would not bother to hang me high
Nor would they burn me at the stake
Seems everyone wants to see my blood
And watch my headless body shake
The judge then added the final words
"The body will be tied to a horse
And be dragged up and down Main Street"
Epilogue: There is one last thought I contemplate
As I'm writing my final verse
Just what would my fate have come to be
If I would have done something far worse
While wrestling with the rose bush I shed red droplets of envy.

It has only been a couple of weeks
this hunger feels like it’s going to peak;
My fangs are swollen and so sensitive
blood lust is giving me one objective;
‘I told you before you can bleed me dry
what must I do to get you to comply?’
Jordan said ‘But if not that idea?
You could always poach the Blood Mafia.
The other vampires I eluded to
may easily be able to help you.’
‘Jordan I want you alive and not dead.’
after a moment I quietly said
‘As soon as the curtain falls we will go
to visit The Network after the show .’
Thirsty my love?
Drink all of me
I just died for you
We all bleed for mankind, do we not?
What sinister secrets
lurk within my mind,
What raging storms
grip my heart,
What malicious maelstroms
swirl in my eyes,
What demonic forces
torment my soul...
You don't wanna know!
It will only entice you
in its dreadful dragnet
And drag you through
an undead necropolis.
I thirst for the blood
And subsist on the
life essence of living creatures,
Prowling relentlessly in the
shadows of the moonlit nights
awaiting my next meal.
CROSS your heart
when you see me,
CROSS your heart now
when you read this,
I can feel you breathe
Sense your heart pounding
Smell the sweat of your fear --
So I said so in truth,
So you have been forewarned!

~Deep and Dark II contest by Laura Loo
There once was a man who thirst for gore
Biting the necks of your average whores
Stake to the heart
He's falling apart
Spreading ashes and ashes galore

Dark hours feed my passion,
amongst alleys and backstreets,
is where I prowl,
picking my victims with finesse,
tender white skin,
showing an arousing blue shaded line,
delicately tracing its' way,
across the throat,
down to the bosom,
then hidden beneath
a silky soft neck line.
My desire peaks,
I plunge deep into throbbing pulse,
and drink life, frenzied,
'til finally I am satiated,
my thirst quenched,
I retreat to the safety of my
satin lined resting place,
until the sun retreats beneath the horizon,
and the darkness
calls my passion once again.
I see it in you pumping.
I hear it in me swishing.
In my sleep I lose all thought.
In this state I scratch my face.
I do it just for some release.
Vampire vixens
Sharing their spoils
Lusting crimsons
Bodies coil
Fencing tongues
Caressing of flesh
Internal erectness
State of undress
Bodies drenched
Thirst quenched
Red flow run
Sexual scent
Midnight writhe
Before the dawn
Vixens of darkness
The dark ones spawn
Entrance he makes
Cloaked in death
To taste their blood
On his vixens breath
Cloak strewn
Bared and chaired
This blood lust two
Master shared
The dawn is near
As this threesome sleep
In their crypt
Darkened deep
Two blood lust souls
Innocent no more
Lured from earths
Living floor
Paths chosen
No turning back
These vampire vixens
In the world of black

Dark red lips trace your neck, trailing down your chest
I can’t control my lust once I’ve caught the scent of you
Your smooth flesh burns where my chilled lips brush
Your heat steaming off into the winter night… it wants you too.
But you are only mine as you pull me tight against you
Your warmth is for my body alone.
I belong to someone and you are going to show me who
As your hand covers my red lips, stifling my moan
Pin me against the window pane,
Digging into my flesh.
Let the flavor of me drive your senses insane
Drink from me my thirsty guest.
Rock me, grip me don’t hold back
This is your time to release everything angry in your life.
Make me scream, let me fill up what your world lacks
Feel the waves of our intensity permeate the night.
Then, be merciful after I am taken, and now our burning kiss
After you have bleed me and our lust has taken its course
Discover my true and own yearning motive
And give me my taste of yours…
I'm tired, uninspired, nothing's fun anymore,
sick of working so much and still being poor.
Christmas is coming and all I feel is dread.
No sugarplum fairies dancing in this head.
Into my haven pure evil has snuck:
someone came and killed my sweet pet ducks.
I hope you choke on their bones, you SOB,
my heart is filled with hatred, your evil's infested me.
My pacifist husband has even bought a gun!
He really wants to kill you, so you see how evil's won?
And now, and now, when I look at the lake,
all I can feel is... a wrenching heartbreak.
The fish that we feed have become so tame,
they are fooled by your lures; it's hardly fair game.
And WE are at fault for gaining their trust,
God, we hate you "fishermen" with your sickening blood lust.
Anger and revenge have usurped our peace,
and
I am
just waiting for
this crappy life to cease.
what he sees scares him, makes him shudder,
that thick, muscular neck of that ogre
angling out from under that rock skull,
taut trapezius, menacingly dark, dull;
beneath brutish brows, sharp, smoldering,
blood-shot eyes glare, ferociously scanning
the arena for anyone daring, still standing,
trumpets blast, the maddened mob starts to sing;
before the crazed crowd, they clash once again,
pandemonium with every slash and then,
both mortally struck, they stagger and fall,
the rabble's blood lust, not appeased at all !
