Perfect Partnership

Say divers, he likes to pose
and for photo's, not really shy
but home he's staying close
a give, take, type of guy.

He cant swim so very well
a marine body guard, some tell
butterfly fish, he knows & chases
with his orangey, stripy , faces.

His host depends on him
to circulate oxygen
they return the favor back
not sting , of fish, attack.

Some species cant live without
biologist write no doubt
his Sea Anemone , protective wall

Nemo film,
l love it all.

Love that saved stork

“It’s a very beautiful bird. It can never be ugly!
It’s the most beautiful bird in the world!”
- Quote by Purnima Devi Barman,
Wildlife biologist who saved
Greater Adjutant stork species
-------------------------------------------------------
Greater Adjutant stork
Uncomely looks
Despised by all
For being ugly
No other fault

No graceful gait
No melody
Awkward height
Impolite eater
Unsettled gaze

A woman fell in love
Raised an all woman
Hargila army to save
To educate, made those
Who despised love the bird

Rescued,
Rehabilitated
Cared,
Now the storks
Live in peace

Love can change
Love can conquer
Love is best when
Under pressure, so
Says the saved storks

An endangered bird
Brought back to live
Just because one
Woman saw beauty
In this incongruous bird

Premium Member How much phosphorus in a human body

How much positive phosphorus is in a human body?
I hear the facts in tiny whispered scientific snatches
Stated by a biologist named Mr. John T. Roddy
Each of us has enough to make twenty-two hundred matches

Premium Member What Is That

What is that? I ask.
It looks like an enormous ant pile.
Taller than a two story house.
African termite mound, a biologist says.
What are they doing here? I say.
My voice sounds like a scared scream.
This is not Africa!
Terrmites heard me and moved their mound.
They might be pests, but they are intelligent pests.

Premium Member Old Ulysses

An old biologist named Ulysses
  Had a job identifying species
    Ulysses was ****-backward
    His technique manufactured
'Stead of faces, he examined feces

Premium Member I Am a Biologist

Their petals feel like velvet
And they prance down a line
Looking like miniature bells
Foxgloves, beautiful foxgloves!

I hide in their meadow
Hoping to never be discovered
Others can do the wash and the cooking
I am studying vegetation

I am a biologist
I am a geologist
I am a scientist
Sister can do the laundry, not me, never me.

Premium Member Nells Is Not Trying To Be Appealing

Nells has no idea how appealing she is.
Not caring about her appearance like other girls.
She throws on a tribal cat suit and lies in a plastic lounger
Reading a stack of scientific journals.
When she gets up and walks around men notice her curves.
And her bouncy attitude, and her joy
She does not see her observers at all.
Not in the mood for wooing or romance
She is studying to be a doctor or a biologist
Some try to bribe her brothers
To try and get a date.
But that goes nowhere too.
She is their little sister.
They see her as three-years-old

Biologists Smell of Nature

Biologists smell of True Nature
For choosing to Existence nurture:
Of the unicellular plants proud;
Things one can't see in a voice loud;
No deserved shaming of The Vulgar:
Bats, Climbers, Creepers, Germs and Algae,
Knowledge not quite unlike a hard blow
Biologists giving a soft glow
Our youth's favorite reproduction
They just can't want for an induction
But, ponderously, Biologists
Your subject does bear the longest gists
The strangest tongue twisters to memorize:
Names we soon forget, as we revise
All the funny words about hormones:
The progesterones, testosterones
I could Biologists hit with stones:
One cause to start nursing some cracked bones

Human Not Human

Human- what is it?
Ask a biologist and he’ll tell you.
A lump of flesh maybe, some bones.
A mesh of veins, arteries and blood.
Ask a poet and she’ll tell you.
Human is so unique, so beautiful.
For one person another may make their heart beat,
For another they might also, but with hate.
The power of so much lies in human.
But the way it is born changes so much.
What paint it is covered in.
whether its eyes are larger or smaller.
The way its hair curls or straightens.
Does it have a right of life?
Maybe.
Somewhere else though,
not here.
For it may be regarded as human,
but it isn’t HUMAN.
The rights may be appointed to it,
Or it may not.
Depending on how well it denounces itself.
How much it wills to change its paint.
One human painted itself white,
But still wasn’t HUMAN.
Maybe to another species, this hate makes no sense.
‘The paint of human changes so much?’
They would think
‘The way its eyes Reflect its story in black, blue and brown?’
it was born unknowing of what rights were,
but now it knows.
Human rights are the rights of HUMAN not human.

A Day In Loule

A day in Loulé

The café had a big window facing the street.
It was almost empty except for three scientists talking about the heavens.
I noticed a dog outside running up and down apparently lost
and tired of listening to the wise men, I walked outside and fed the dog
I also gave it water in the park so it could sniff the trees telling other dogs
“I was here with a human.”
The three scientists also came to the park talking about the moon and stars.
until one of them, a biologist, said, let´s talk about the oceans and
the life there and leave the stars alone.
The dog was chasing squirrels as the day glided into the evening
and I wondered what to eat in the evening.

God and Devil

Kill one man, and you are a murderer.
Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror.
Kill them all, and you are a god
                                   - Jean Rostand (French biologist)

Where is God
Where is Devil
In my belief,
In my imagination

All are words; no existence I find
without human thinking power

Some words are defined as holy,
Some are defined as black magic
Everywhere I'm in hypnotized trick

Two names are acquainted without any seen existence
-God and Devil!
Whereas the two have existed in one seen existence
- Money; that is money
Who knows its utility he becomes God and Devil's accompany

To the Sponsor

I am not a communist, nor a capitalist

I am a biologist and humanist

I am happy with all animals

and all humans with no viciousness

I love the leaders who treat the people with respect and dignity

and hate those who only love money and votes

no matter his name is Xi or Trump.

Dreaming Right

Dreaming right

Watching an entertaining a program on TV a talk between
an Astro-physicist and a biologist, the astral-man was loud
given to interrupting the biologist, who was mild-mannered
English gentleman, I had read one of his books.
“how do we know we are not dreaming? Said biologist
Perhaps wishing he was.
I went for a walk when coming back home, I wondered
If I had been dreaming the walk, as I’m not fond of rambling.
To be sure, I took another walk.
Coming home, I was tired, but sure I had not been dreaming
or had I? but I was not going for a third stride.
I switched on the TV to watch the “outdoor man.”

Charles Darwins House

Charles Darwin’s House

I was born in Darwin’s House,
After the Christmas of Fifty-Four,
Right on the Edge of Ilkley Moor,
Charles lived there, just a bit before.

St Winifred was its name in my day,
From Wells Terrace it evolved.
Darwin stayed there till the heat died down,
His works on Evolution solved.

Scientist, Biologist, very clever man,
His findings upset so many for so long.
Widely recognised as evolutions Bible,
So many swear, he got it wrong.

Premium Member So Many Ologists What To Choose

Carol Ellen’s love of granite will turn her into a fulfilled geologist.
Tim’s fascination with stem cells will help him be a fantastic biologist.
Me, myself, I want to a tri-scientist. Maybe paleontologist.
If not that, there is my secretive dream of being a micro-biologist.

My neighbor’s cousin is a boring, bored, cardiologist.
His former dream was to be an Egyptian anthropologist.
I’ve invented a new career, a Sabertoothologist
Which sounds almost as terrific as a ColdDuluthologist.

Both are my self-made ideas, as I am a well-known ideologist.
My outrageously lovely fall back plan is snappily dressed zoologist
Except the Latin might kill me, forcing me to become an astrologist.
If I want to begin soon, I had best get out some books and blow off the dust.
