In the crepuscular halcyon sunset, bells tolled urging
the desultory audience to attend the sermon of the new pastor.
Despite their cynical sentiments, they dared not absent themselves.
The look of visceral satisfaction on the pastor’s face
was unmistakable. Outside light became penumbra,
Still, men and women trudged towards the chapel
as the dirge-like bells faded into silence. His audience was silent too.
He spoke in a sonorous voice, in an opulent resonant poetic vein,
an exuberant style which was to be his familiar characteristic:
Unbridled jealousy is a sin, he intoned, so speak no evil, my friends.
The interpretation of the listeners is FICTION. Still the advice is correct.
Darkness engulfed me
I struggled to adjust to the shadows
blinked when my vision brought to light—
an empty room, rumpled sheets of an unmade bed
a tear-stained pillow where I'd laid my head
There was a wooden luster on the furniture
I sniffed the unmistakable church scent of candles
six long white tapers on two candelabra
My fingertips smoothed white satin beneath me
Thoughts began to drift, sifting through... what?
I was carrying the weight of an albatross
My back bent from the burden held too long
Something was wrong
A mewling of fear formed a question
that I dared not ask
In my ear, a whispered hisssss
"Go ahead and asssk it. It'sss commonplace."
A voice without a face—
disappeared without a trace
My submissive nerves feigning bravado
I tried to rise but curdled
There was a hurdle of some sort in my way
Eyelids too heavy to open
My arms reach to set me free
but I cannot move
No words escape on my tongue
I cursed the albatross that held me down
Away from me, I wanted it flung
I searched to find courage to ask
if I was facing death or a demon's call....
In my ear, a whispered hisssss
"Go ahead and asssk it. It'sss commonplace.
Asssk the question if you dare."
That voice without a face—
disappeared without a trace
I felt a kiss upon my cheek
from trembling lips that did not speak
That pungent scent of too many flowers
should've had me suffering a headache
Had I been resting here for hours?
"If this is not a dream
then tell me...." I beseeched
But the world was out of reach
Thoughts abandoned me
I tried to feel a pulse, a heartbeat—
There was another kiss
Tears on my cheek, but not my own
I froze at the sound of another hissss
Strike me with your ligjtning of love,
electrify every fiber of my being
with the violet voltage
that your soul can unleash,
spell love upon my soul
with a bolt of tongue thunder,
make me vibrate vulnerable,
deliver unto me the raw of passion
flashing like a cyclone
of lethal caress,
buckle me blind to my knees
pleading for revelation ruthless,
I tremble in your storm of seduction,
bleeding straight into your mouth
of wet fire,
shock me strikingky into the center of salvation,
elevate my erected ethos of eternity,
let me lavish You with a lodestone
of unmistakable loyalty,
I pour upon your majesty
a lava from the bowels of bravery,
I harness your storm heat
in the palms of my oceanic urge,
exploding through a riptide of desire surge,
I want every part of your wild atmosphere,
the lips of your thunder tempting my testimony
to speak the truth of temptation,
Light my sky with lust,
make me star gaze
into your eyes of terrible amor,
I want you like I want the crown of the Universe,
I collapse into your catastrophe of love,
knowing that you will not abandon Me,
that You will serve Me the love that I need -

We laughed at each and every thing.
You were my sovereign soul mate.
How could I know when I wore your ring
that you were the one would teach me hate?
So many days filled up with laughter.
Nights of unmistakable pleasure.
Then you hung me from the highest rafter.
Caused me pain too deep to measure.
I worked so hard to perfect and please.
Giving you everything I was made of.
In times of stress I'd bring you ease.
You flourished in unconditional love.
One night I came home late from work.
There was my telephone message blinking.
Turns out you're a heartless jerk.
You shattered me without twice thinking.
Those words still haunt me to this day.
"I simply can't go on pretending.
I need my freedom and right away".
How cruel the message you were sending.
Yet when I recovered from the shock
I picked up the pieces of my soul.
For years my heart was under lock.
But now I'm healed and once more whole.
I've heard that you never settled down.
That great love's never come your way.
Well karma reigns and you wear the crown.
That's really all I have to say!

Sire she's been sighted
two miles south of Sinai,
our sentinels say she has brought a river,
her baggage train stretches into the ancient sands,
the envoys of her retinue spoke of marvelous gifts,
beasts and creatures of the Orient
gems that glitter like the eyes of children
summer baskets of gold bullion
and satchels of spice from Siam,
our men said they could smell the barrels of balsam Sire...
To travel with such unmistakable wealth
the Queen must have brought a war machine along,
have desert brigands been spotted near the route...
No my King, no raider encampments have been observed,
just the regular rabble and agape villagers,
it's been confirmed that her associates
are passing to the people pouches of cinnamon...
I don't trust the Egyptians,
they may try to incite the Bedouins to foolhardy thievery,
our Nation's honor demands
that not even the dust of the devil's danger
deign to dry upon the clothes of her most distant servants,
if the House of Zion can secure a partnership
with the trading powerhouse of Sheba
our supremacy over the Babylonians will be indomitable...
I pledge my life, and that of my family's
to her caravan's safety Sire...
So mote it be General,
your loyalty is my blessing,
may it be as strong as the staff of Moses,
dispatch 333 of the Lion's Legion
to reinforce the Queen's guard
and send a circuit of 15 water wagons...
What does a Queen dream of
in the calm desert nights...
I dream of roses melting
into snake bitten hearts,
I've dreamt of citadels broken
by the grips of greed,
I've seen a child walking out of a tomb,
what does a King dream of
in the shadow of paradise...
I dream of thorned stars,
the division of labor and wages,
of priests and Judges
whom wish to rule quietly without blame...
Do you know what thrilled me the most
about the Court reception...
Tell me, my cinnamon Queen...
The seduction of your Servants' silence
as I entered your meticulous throne room...
I understood their awe,
you moved so gracefully,
your body like an ancient lust
your face a flame of royalty...
I think I fell in love with your eyes,
there is something rough about you Solomon,
but your eyes and lips
relay a sweet mercy to me...
Mercy is never free Veronica...
I will pay the price...
We will pay the love cost together...

Bold, bright...unmistakable
she dresses in vivid pinks or purples
sometimes splashes of oranges or golds.
Her lavish flashes of flowers shine
and yet...
…brilliant bougainvillea has
her dark secrets.
Devoid of fragrance
this fanfare, flowery mistress
hides her hidden thorns...
…to touch her is
to become entangled
cut to the quick
scraped and bloodied
without warning
though careful one may be.
Beauty prevails over pain
as paper petals flirt and entice
all dressed up in pageantry
a multitude of sins are covered.
Bougainvillea lights up
the heated climate
flinging caution to the wind.

The spiral staircase made her high heels sing, the metal tips on her heels dinged on the metal steps.
The sound reminded John of bullets ricocheting on a tin roof he had heard two weeks before.
She reached the stage and joined the other dancers and then one of the girls sang Brahms lullaby.
John was enjoying a day’s leave at the hotel, last week it was full of German soldiers, Paris was now liberated and the look of joy on the Parisians was evident on their faces.
Tomorrow his regiment was being deployed, to where he did not know, it was just after midnight when they got back to their camp; a couple of miles from the hotel.
At the briefing the next morning the orders were given to assist US forces at a town called St Louise, It was 04.00 as they drove up a steep hill and from here the city churches pierced the mist.
They arrived at the town and he could hear sporadic bursts of machine gun fire, an American captain signalled Johns regiment to keep their heads down.
He soon found out why as the whistling of artillery shells hit their target at the far edge of town.
Silence now, and then they began a sweep and search operation going from house to house.
Then he heard music, cautiously he entered and at the far end was a young girl of about ten
John approached her and she smiled, he picked her up and she was still clutching the music box.
He went outside and in case of snipers he closed it and now smiling crossed the square.
There was a field ambulance by the fountain and John handed her over to the medics there.
He started back to join his patrol and then the girl opened the music box which started playing, yes of course he had heard it before, the unmistakable sound of Brahms lullaby.

In the overall scheme of things
What matters most in life
It's the love of another human being
The total commitment between two hearts
That indescribable connection
When you recognize that someone is oh so very special
Of all the people we rub elbows with
During our too short a time on earth
One who stands out head and shoulders above the rest
One to share our most intimate dreams with
Almost as if we two are one
When we meet that person
The fire between the two of us rages
The signs are unmistakable
They totally consumes us
To the point where nothing else seems important
Only the deep love of another soul
To know this love is to know the true meaning of life

In her eyes from across the room
our glances make a spark,
the magic in our eyes, unmistakable.
Upon a brief exchange of chance, something more leads us away from who we are, to a
chemistry unspoken. The magic between us continues through the night as we softly
tear down the walls of inhibition. The booth cradles us through obscurity as the wine with
gentle sips warms our emotions. Time does not exist, enchanted minutes and hours
become eternities. Smiles and soft caresses of her arm, she lightly plays
with her hair...each touch sparks our souls and pull us closer to the truth. We are not
making it out of this perfect night untouched. To a small back room alone holding hands,
lovers stop abrupt. Slowly and passionately a gentle embrace lead slowly to
the light touch of lips. The moment engulfs the now with fervours magnitude.
The passion burns our shadows on the wall with volcanic lust, the paint
sweats like rain. The flowers bloom fills the room with sweet celestial heat as the love in our
hearts race to warm culmination. A perspirant palm print slams, leaving behind
the fingerprints of our flames. Trembling love exchanges with eyes agaze with no cares of
what's to come. The magic in our eyes at this moment would never come undone.
Why am I attracted to certain types of women
The ones that display that indescribable feminine trait
Demure yet with that certain openness and lust for life
Those that send out those unmistakable signals
All men know what I referring to
It's a very feminine charm that beckons us to come hither
That says I want to know more about you
And we are all too eager to oblige
Hence the beginning
Stage two of this trial period happens
Engaging in conversation, we size up each other
And then it either ends at that point
Or it becomes the beginning of a relationship
With further exploration
More times than not, the relationship flourishes
Because the initial attraction was genuine
And is followed by a lasting affair
It is amazing how one's instinct
Usually steers us down the right path
Until we discover it, love is very difficult to define
It is all encompassing, life changing
The ultimate emotion, three cheers for love
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

Up slightly past midnight,
we finally called it a day as we
exchanged goodnight kisses and
amorous glances with tired eyes
Half-awake early morn', I lay supine
on the left side of our king-sized bed
I scanned the right up-and-down for her;
with my outstretched arms; surprising vacancy!
She's gone...
unbeknownst to me!
I sprang fully awake with two consecutive thoughts...
"When, oh when will my main squeeze return?"
"She left without saying goodbye?"
Then my face meets the mirror,
and voila! An unmistakable crimson stamp
on my right cheek
to remember her by...
unbeknownst to me!
She did say goodbye, after all.
And I miss her so!

Caught in a trance
An undescribable daze
To anyone, her beauty
Is bound to amaze
So soothing is the voice
Of this woman I so despratly desire
In her eyes she holds
A passionate fire
Confused and stumbling
For words when she is near
Rejection is one's
Deepest fear
Embarrassed
Never have I been
All i wish
Is to see her again
No particular woman
This powm was written for
It represents the ones
Who have someone they adore
Yey unmistakable is
Her deep mystic
Hair no falling
beyond her slender cheek
The hardest thing to govern
Is that of the heart
Yet desire and love
Are not that far apart
For love
Is attraction and desire
that fortifys over time
Nothing is higher
Only needed is a sign
Kneeling down, I ask
You to forever be mine
Is your house in order, or do you keep running for the boarder, maybe you're a life hoarder?
Like so many others do you feel your world is shrinking, with a feeling inside like you're sinking so you pick up a bottle and start drinking, which only brings about stinking, thinking.
And you know things have gone awry when people's conversations are all about me, my and I. While injustice is being swept under the rug and we look for happiness in drugs. If that's what you prefer then your house is completely out of order.
Whatever your situation you need to seek immediate salvation cause if you take a look at the world and look at the times, you can't help but see the unmistakable warning signs in a world that prefer to remain blind.
Just look at how the world is now setting the stage, no longer turning the page, unexplained rage, is The Bible right have we come to the end of an age?
And you won't escape by plane nor by cars. Check out N.A.S.A. and the rich they're in a race for Mars but they too are behind bars.
For time grows short and we are about to be judged by the Highest Court. So if you feel somethings amiss and you want to stay out of the Abyss then it comes down to this.
If your house is straight, see you at The Pearly Gates.
If your house is fair it could use a little repair but you're pretty much square.
But if your house is a mess then it really needs to be addressed because you are in danger of being hurled into The Netherworld.
So it's to stop being a hoarder, tucking tail and running for the boarder, take a stand and get your house in order.
