Premium Member Have You Forgotten Me

It's been years since we walked away from each other.
Long ago, I stopped looking back because I was afraid
that I'll not see your footprints following behind me.
Each time I dared turn my head; they'd faded a bit more.
With every hesitant step I've taken, I've wondered...
have I become nothing more than a pale phantom to you.
A memory, a ghost, who disappeared from view.
Do you no longer remember me; my name did you forget?
Or have you missed me and feel grievous sorrow and regret?
Maybe by now I'm just a delusion carried along on the wind.

Traces of you will always cling to me, a scent undenied and
in tears I cried, like raindrops falling from brooding clouds.
If afternoon showers could cleanse me of loving you,
I'd call out to the thunder god for a rage-filled storm.
My heart has never forgiven me for walking away from you.
I feel it beat more quickly on those dark and dreary days
when I think I hear your footfalls catching up to me.
I dare not turn around for fear of what I would not see.

Premium Member A Tortured Soul

She's bound by chains too hard for her to break
Alive and yet she tastes a living death
Morality and ethics round her neck
And so she plans to rob her soul of breath

The flames of hell are licking at her feet
In torture is her soul in need of love
A proffered gift of passion undenied
Would bring upon her wrath from God above

To convent in the hills she must escape
Confession make and plead for mercy there
Or else her heart and soul to crucify
And end the call of pleasure, beauteous fair

Betwixt morality and passion lies
The sweet seduction in a lover’s eyes

Premium Member Inglenook - First Place Contest Winner

In the heart of the humble countryside,
Where nature's beauty does coincide,
There lies an inglenook, a cherished place,
Where love and warmth forever embrace.

The inglenook stands, a beacon of light,
Guiding souls through love's endless delight.
Soaring for the heights, lofty and proud,
The beam room sprawl has an icon cursing loud.

Cozy and inviting, with a roaring log,
A place where lovers cuddle, hearts agog.
In this inglenook, deep feelings do reside
A sanctuary of love, where hearts confide,

With flickering candlelight, the scene is set,
A lounge so spacious, certainly to fret.
The wood fire blazed, its crackling sound,
Igniting passion, love's flame unbound,

In the hearth area, a colossal marble,
A symbol of strength, love's eternal marvel.
The heavy beams above, as guardians strong,
Watching over lovers, as they belong,

In this humble abode, where memories are made,
Love's eternal fire will never fade.
In the heart of the humble countryside,
Where souls intertwine, edge by side,

The inglenook whispers secrets untold,
In its warm embrace, love's story unfolds.
With each flicker of candlelight,
The inglenook dances, a mesmerizing sight,

Yawning with warmth, as a gentle embrace,
Inviting love's journey, in this sacred space.
The wood fire blazed, its crackling voice,
Serenading the hearts with its rejoice,

With every crackle and pop, love's melody,
Filling the air, creating harmony.
In this haven of love, where time idle still,
Hearts are entwined, bound by a thrill,

The inglenook holds the key,
To love's true essence, a symphony.
In the heart of the humble countryside,
Where love's flame burns, undenied.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Dualspace

Upon a desert's silent sea of sand,
A tower stands with strength upon the land.
Its hue, a blazing red in sun's embrace,
Yet darkness hovers, casting mystic grace.

A contradiction painted 'cross the sky,
Dark clouds and sunshine vying, none comply.
The tower's shadow stretches 'long the ground,
A solitary sentinel, profound.

Desolation spreads, a barren, empty plain,
Where solitude and quietness remain.
Footprints mark a path of souls now gone,
Whispers of their stories linger on.

The sun, a golden orb in azure skies,
Its cheerful rays attempt to mesmerize.
Yet dark clouds gather, weaving tales untold,
A juxtaposition, nature's fold.

The tower's red, a poppy midst the sand,
A beacon in this arid, lifeless land.
Though clouds may mask the sun in somber shroud,
The tower's presence stands tall and proud.

In unity, the sun and darkness play,
A dance of contrasts in the sky's array.
The tower, steadfast, gazes far and wide,
Its strength against the odds, undenied.

So in this scene, where opposites unite,
The tower stands, a symbol shining bright.
Dark clouds and sun converge, then drift away,
A masterpiece of nature's night and day.

A joyous tear

A joyous tear
So ravishing and complete
I fall to my knees
In utter belief
The words you have written
Touch my heart undenied
Oh my sweet my Madonna
You are my life

As I gaze upon your beauty
I can’t help but believe
You are a storybook love
So ravishing and complete
You paint a picture of inspiration
Of pastel colors and dream

Submission To Persuade Midsummer

Distorted open wings jolt with fresh memories solve the mystery and the curse
comes back to me, does the punishment fit the crime it fails in comparison and
falls to decadence. It moves beside you unseen and unphased as innocent
becomes clean. Silence simulated alliance gather around and listen to your
unchanging love song a simple dilemma relax in trance unsatisfied dreams
sway under hypnosis this is what it seems foot steps under a filthy sky we beg
the reasons why. Illuminated cryptic words spoken on solstice verge undenied
washed away with the coming tide it cries out to be known it crawls turning to
stone a thousand years trapped and scorn. Lusted and weak enchanted it
speaks with addiction it weeps savage it sleeps a masterpiece underneath black
we leave it at that.

My Blood Undenied

My blood undenied;
Though a red lip;
Yet a significant figure;
We are oceans apart;
Waiting to confluence;
This caused by sources religious
view apart;
Which I hear will later confluence;
No response lie in wait;
When all the wishes of the sources;
Arrive at their door step when they
least expect it;
This you tell me in silence;
that the blood undenied will find it's
blood;
I trust you;
The blood of my blood that must
blood;
....My blood undenied

Premium Member The Valentine

Amongst my valley of sacred dreams, a single
Reddened rose grows, tender leaves of emotion’s
Blowing within my garden of inner hearts chamber.
Textures delicate layers, blossoming in the shadow
Of loves burning passion, nurtured in desire’s private
Council, my valentine bestows devotions previous
Gift unto me, compassion, beauty and mercy of the
Raw fleshes inner core exposed,
Unraveling my blackened tresses, shaking them free
With reckless abandonment, does not mine own
Tender petals of innocence fall above him, in
A showing rainbow of colors array, these gentle
Blossoms for-get-me-knots.
In vows chapel of hopes promise, two souls spoke
Without words, but in the eyes of our future, volumes
Exchanges with every touches softest caress, and
Moistened kiss.
Wrapped in satin sheets of pleasures undenied, we
Form the union of our own valentine, smiling within
The heights of exhilarations at each other.
Floating dreamers, set adrift mingling in the
Celebration of living, tasting the infinite, clinging
To the hearts beating, in the silence of the night.
Bring me no flowers, nor tokens of melted chocolates
Confections, nay I’ve been given the best of thee,
Tonight dearest Valentine, to share myself with thee.
Spin your silver tongues verse in the air, forging crystal
Castles of fortunes folly, I dare not care for these ideal
Creations, for I am yours, heart and soul, my Valentine,
Forever throughout eternity.
Can you not hear the broken wings of the angels heaing,
Flapping, they thus weep no more, for loves hope
Of promise has been restored within our union.
We’ve found the end of heaven’s rainbow,
Within each other’s embrace, let the white doves
Soar, releasing their soft appendages upwards,
To brush against the face of the most majestic
Spirit on high, and he two smiles at us, winking
With spiritual joy.
So let age’s timeless clock tick away, I’m
Thus content to lay beside thee, in wrinkles,
Or elderly pains of agony, I’ll not leave, for we
Are the lucky sprits of loves devotion, Valentines
Of the spiritual, that is found in true loves
Union, beneath endless sky of the infinite.

First Love, Part One

Though a sad day goes,
And a sad night comes
(For my Dear's not here with me),
I will bring up living
Our first love's giving,
When out of the sea came she.

Her leap was as sweet wind was,
Singing sweet, and where white waves
Rushed downward, shedding brightness at her side,
Her spirit-wings went soaring,
The song of her was pride.
Her face flamed into rapture
As she plashed upon each wave;
High billows swelled against her,
But how low to one how brave.
Her hands, in easy motion,
Caught a foam-bell at her knee,
Caught it up and, leaning shoreward,
Blew it shining clear to me.
So light a thing, so fragile,
Yet it sailed above my hand,
While climbing through the combers
Strode all Beauty to the sand.

She, who saw me rising,
As in worshipping I rose,
She, whose tender love-poem
Was the pureness of no pose,
As I closed the reach between us,
Going softly through the tide,
Said to me, spoke words to me---
Great love-words undenied---
"Sing, O Man, make music,
Say desires here;
Our hearts have blended rhythms,
Our eyes make flames appear.
My limbs, and all my body,
My yearning blood and will,
For reign of thine are ready,
Thy loving lust to fill."

Huge waves crashed over gently,
Huge roar of them was sweet,
While flying ubbles shattered
All their flakes upon our feet.
Our hands were like half-flowers
Feeling glad again to rise,
Then the petals pierced together
And the sun shot from our eyes.

I knew her dreams were Passion;
I knew her name was True---
True Love of Full Possession---
That all my longings drew.
And though how scorched within me
My thirst kept welling up,
I knew my soul abstracted,
And speech spilled from my cup.

O Sweet Warm Mouth so perfect,
So justified to be;
O Rare High Brow a-shining,
Whose thoughts Love's deeds will be;
I sign my lips upon thee,
I sign my life and soul,
Shut out all gods but Beauty,
Make you my only goal.
Now with these waves competing
My coursing veins aspire
To be in your veins beating
Until my blood turns fire.

Premium Member A Sweet Walk

A cup of ice cream, he invites
A spoonful near my lips to try
Raising his finger to remove
Dots of ice cream that dropped

Blushing with his slightest touch
Hardly trying this to stop
Under my lashes, his eyes sparkle
Then he said, "like the stars, you twinkle"

Slight bubbly exchange of talks
As we proceed happily on our walk
Glancing sideways for sometime
Checking indirectly a clue undenied

On the red stoplight in the street, we halt
Entwining his hand on mine for a hold
Guiding me gently to pass safely on lane
To my home, admiration he exclaims

Waterfall

Cascading over the craggy cliff
what once was a soft flowing stream
turned into rushing river,
it reaches it's crescendo, it's timpani

molecules race against time in an
ever high paced endeavor,
to settle to the bottom once again
to rest among the others, already settled

What once was blue and aqua green
is now white with fury, almost anger,
unleashed and unrestrained lashing out
against that which wishes solace

Never to be harnessed by the hand of man
perhaps used for power that would be gained
and garnered from it, unyielding, undenied
yet afraid of the possibilities if touched

At it's end is a cloud of mist arise
as a fog, hiding it's loathing for the fall
exploding with lust to be free again
to flow in peace, rapture, forgiven

To return to a more sedated life
to that rushing river, with desire
to return to that meandering stream
to once again pool, in the silky sun

Destiny's Hand

Across chasms of time
our eyes may meet
love long unavailed
will pull at restraint

tomorrow must come
and an adamantium sky
ripples the aurora borealis
above my meager crown

My admiration lies in hidden smiles
as this burgeoning lust rolls all eyes
secreting the ties that bound us
I deny its velocity and validity

As Judas denied christ thrice
I deny us and what we once held
hanging trees of knowledge bloom
the truth is undressed and undenied

Along the Rose line in all my dreams
A shrill coming together killed us
draped in silenced peace I prayed
knowing love burns ever brighter still

But in these awkward realms of glass
where destiny plays with solid rock
and deja vu awakes my middle eye
the blink of a universe trickles tears

Gently twinkling stars remind me
on the tip of my tongue a word
falters to only lay dead in my throat
to know love I must speak in tongues

Knowing this I kiss goodbye the earth
letting destiny take hold of my hand

With tear dimmed eyes we search for reason,
               In grief, hope seems denied;
          In earthly bounds love hath its season,
               Within Gods heart, no loss abides.

Till the Day I Die

To have lived in a world where I have Sinned
Could have left me with Defeat and Saddened
As for Loves I have tried, My body Undenied
To Forsake I have tried, I spoke I have Lied
Those things I cant not hide, No longer eat me up inside
I open up my eyes, Between me and God he knows why
I'm not afraid for I have Lived before I Died

The feelings deep inside, He shows me I Oblige.......................Till the day I Die

Premium Member After the Love Has Gone

After the love has gone
There's only PASSION
CRYING at the stoop OF
HEARTS  DENIED

Even if the TEARS are dried
THERE'S  only PASSION
LEFT to tear the EYE.

Although words unspoken
A soothing kiss, no hearts
Left  UNBROKEN

One shall whisper in the
Ear of  EVERY LOVER
Tip your  toes here there's
Something to discover.

Beyond the BEACHES
Something to uncover
SHORE TO SHORE
Stroll along the SANDS

Grow younger with a stillness
A quiet, soothing of the HEART
Chase the chatter
Be VALIANT  smell the ATMOSPHERE

Stand,  stand ALONE.
Now soothsayers  QUESTION the
TIME.
How long?
Chastened the question.
Be STRONG, PATIENT BE OF A
heart undenied.

HINDER  THE TEARS
tear  to   tear
A CASTE  AWAY
