Premium Member All I Am

For My Timothy Lee

With trust in my eyes
I offer my soft side
Where you safely abide.

With honesty in my voice
I share my naked truth
Where you freely run loose.

With a focused brain
I grant my best logic
Where you filter conflict.

With gentleness in my touch
I gift my tender care
Where you may shatter despair.

With anticipation on my skin
I surrender my body
Where you make grand glory.

With everything I am
I promise you my heart
Where you are the best part.

Premium Member Falling Still Falling for My Truelove

Silently yearning for the heart I've chosen for love to ignite.
With his lips upon mine with the sweet strawberries soft and warm.
I embark a moonlight flight; cloudburst wakes me from a sweet dream.

Premium Member VALENTINE FAITH

For My Timothy Lee

fragile hearts
found their strength
when we linked

always knew
you were there
just not where

nor the when
long the wait
kept in faith

many years
of love’s cost
saw faith tossed

you appeared
quickly neared
two hearts seared

together
nothing stains
freedom reigns

never masks
no fear walls
blessings all

love is wealth
you freed me
my true self

such gold stash
will still last
when we pass

Valentine
gorgeous man
love of mine

I am thine
my heart soars
beside yours

Premium Member My One Truelove

Leaped into the arms of my one truelove
Blanket of love I’m falling still falling
Listening to the mourning doves above
Intimate kisses held more whispering
While sweet rain lulls our passionate feelings

I miss your presence when you are away
You are worth every hour of every day
You are the rhythm, my breath my heart belongs
The poems, rhymes, my scented rose bouquet
Falling still falling for my truelove songs

Premium Member Loyal Love

Dedicated to My Blessing, Timothy Lee, with Endless Love
Loving me includes a two-for-one, challenging package
because I love and care for my grown, special-needs son.
He said his love’s sincerity held my son in its reality.
Loving him revealed my heart’s innate, soulmate measure,
and the tenderness two honed hearts can lovingly render.
Happiness surged and rose through my flesh, blood and bones.

Call me old-fashioned, but after decades spent in an office,
I embraced his wish that I handle hearth and let him provide.
Everything from bills to meals were my responsibility deal
that blended with his labors and lent smoothness to savor.
For many years our efforts combined in tension free designs
of two hearts and heads free of pressure’s grayish binds.

Then came a day when I disappeared for years inside our home.
Though present, my brain issues left him abandoned and alone
with the strife of obligations in life for me, himself and my son.
He took on everything from meals, bills, cleaning and toiletries
while tortured by concern and weighty fears he could not free.
How bleak it must have been,
                                        wishing to fix,
                                                          never able to mend.

When my mind came back, I asked why he had not chosen to run,
pointed out we weren’t married, no obligation existed to bind him.
I stated his life had surely turned tough, with struggles of enough.
I was holding his hand and my teary eyes were attached to his
when he said, "for you, my heart grew a steadfast, loyal love and
leaving you, our life and son was something I never thought of.”

My Little Sister

Sometimes in your life there's a love, that comes along.
This particular love you long for you don't need to wish for because it's written its ment to be and it will happen and you know it's going to be wonderful, its part of you it's what makes you whole.
In my case it is truelly my sister.
The minute she was born she was mine forever. I looked at her and knew. The connection between us so powerful and wonderful there are just no words to describe.
And as she's grown into this amazing women she's got every attribute I could have dreamed for her.
She is beautiful down to her core, she's intelligent in a text book way and wise before her time,
Yet she's extremely witty and funny and can bring me to tears and the amount of belly laughs she has made me have has caused me pain and to wet my self copious amounts of times.
She is full of heart, so loving, empathetic and caring beyond words, organised and practical, but carefree and messy when she's having fun.
She is black and white but open for reason and alternative ways.
She is not judgmental, but if needed will pull you in line out of concern and love. She is spiritual and harmonious. She is ambitious and successful and thirsty for knowledge and new things.
She is generous and will help you in anyway she can and is old School in her mannerisms and has utmost respect for the elderly and needy.
She's a family girl and will do anything for all and they know she has got there back. She's a mother an outstanding, mother blessed with a pigeon two that she totally deserves and has completed her world.
My sister to you I say Thankyou. Thankyou for giving me the privilege of having you as mine. As my parents masterpiece and my lifelong gift the most precious gift I have ever been given.
My love for you is the sort of love that will never compare to any other and my wish to you is of eternal love, health and happiness and for every wish for you to wish to be granted for too.
I love you my little sister and all I can say is you changed my world the minute you entered into it and life just hasn't been the same.
You are my Earth angel my gift from the heavens above and how lucky am I to have had the opportunity to feel real genuine, heart exploding love.
Thankyou ***

Love You Mom

I can not keep records
Off all the sacrifices you have made
You never broke your promises
You never let go my hand

All the love I need
You have more than enough to give
I could never figure out how you did it
Not tired or weary of loving me

Sometimes when I am hurt, sad or crying
You had a way of taking away my pain
Through you, I knew there is heaven
No matter how bad a situation, you never complain

You keep giving away your heart
To people who keep tearing it apart
But I still do not understand
How it is easy for you to be happy despite all that

I brag too often about you mom
Like the stars, you beauty is divine
It is easy to love you back since I was born
You are a role model, I am proud to call you mom.

You marry the person with the most of what you need
You love the person with the most beautiful eyes
You spend time with the one who is your best friend
You have children with the one most stable
True Love… is when they are all the same person

The Old Man Could See

The Old Man Could See
By Cat Ferman

UCLA, 1969
My dad's late for class again.
He spots a girl from Sweden
And asks her out again.
My mom says so unsure, but calmly and kind,
"I suppose that would be alright,
I guess that'll be just fine."
And from that moment on
They stayed together
In the warm weather
Making each day more alive.
My dad, Mr. Ferman, a Jewish local man, refused to leave her side,
And although a good man
Was not a Lutheran
Interested as he was in reading the new testament
Which he did.
-------------------------------------
Winter break arrived, and my mom missed home.
Not sure she would come back in the spring
She gave her mom and dad a ring
To tell them about the man who made her heart sing
My dad's parents gave her a ride to the airport that morning.

With no delay about it,
My dad prayed about it
Then he knew what to do.
At the very last minute
Searching the kitchenette and everything in it
To keep the girl he loved more than anything
He grabbed his passport on the way out the door
And he had no luggage or money, as he was poor.

When she checked in, my dad and his parents sat in the car, briefly,
Before my dad would ultimately go in to make peace with goodbye.
But first
One last try:
He asked his parents again,
"Mom, could I please have some-?"
"No."
"But why?"
They had no good answer for him.
Because though she was loyal
Her blood to them wasn't royal
No matter how noble she was.

An old Jewish man in the airport
Sitting next to them
The old man could see.
Reflecting back on moments in his memory
He saw love in my dad's eyes he recognized in himself
For the wife he had who was in poor health
From old age
Who didn't have much longer to live
As both were getting older
And the seasons were getting colder.
He decided right then - my dad needed a friend
So the old man who could see
Told my dad, plainly,
"Well, I was going to sell this ticket, you see
To that man over there with all that money,
Surely, that would be the best for me,
But,
I'm going to give it to you for free."

50 years later
They're still together
Seven kids and ten grandchildren later
The stern clarinet player (and a generous doctor)
And the angelic, maternal and artistic oil painter.

And the Love Never Dies

Oh my dear dearest diary, listen
Today I'll recite a love that glisten.
Never had I believed in love stories.
But maybe mine holds a billion memories.

Yeah! I was a simple, easy girl.
With a dream of my complicated life to unfurl.
Then a complicated being came and taught.
The true meaning of life with emotions caught.

Our meet was random and very unexpected.
It took us time to get our souls connected.
Gradually he made himself special for me.
How can someone else be the reason of my glee.

He came like he was always there with me.
But at the right time to make things fair for me.
He admires me with all my flaws.
And I got bliss for which he was cause.

He wasn't my life nor he is.
But he's that void in my life that's filled with glee.
For me he wasn't a star or lifeline.
But he is that shine that makes my life fine.

Doesn't give me vibes coz he is a vibe himself.
He always tries to understand me more than myself.
How come someone be so perfect and nice.
This is the question that hovers in my sight.

At times, when my eyes shed tears.
He made me realise that there's someone who cares.
I was strong, this I knew.
But he made me stronger making my fears blew.

I heard love is one's biggest weakness.
My love made me stronger, isn't it the uniqueness?
He says , "You aren't my happiness but the reason of every happiness."
Everytime I smile and say, "it's just because of your heartiness."

He isn't near me now but he is with me.
Never did we say that we love.
That was love or something to be loved.
I don't know what it was and that's the beauty of love.

Every memory of him gives me peace.
Snatches my sadness and gloominess cease.
And in between all this, love always won.
For it is an emotion which can be regretted by none.

I wasn't ever his nor he was mine.
This is what makes our love undying.
This is how my destiny blessed me with love.
A love that is immortal even when not with my beloved.

Truly loving someone is amazing
Running away together
Under the stars at night
Everyday is a wonderful experience
Love giving you gifts
One day they will be married
Valentines day is romantic
Everyday that goes by the love grows stronger

When the Summer Rained

Hot air causes me to sweat
Stress causes me to cry
There’s nowhere to hide from my emotions
But I still try
Food hates me
Weight loss deteriorates me
They ask me what’s wrong but I have no answer
Confusion and anger cloud my judgement
I want to move forward but I have no legs
Life moves around me as I stay stagnant
Regret from past future and present chain me to the floor
And when I look for understanding there is no more
I search for my purpose to no avail
I work so hard only to fail
I pick up my pencil and I cannot focus
I use my words but I cannot speak
Loneliness in a crowd of people keeps me quiet
So many emotions and I just wanna hide it
How do you handle loving a lover who’s heart is your no more?
How do you stand when you want to fall on the floor?
I try to be strong and just have patience
But my patience is breaking me to the core
My desperation for love is my demise
I swim in a sea of whys
I suffocate waiting for true love to find me
I just wait for true love to try me

Ceaseless Affection

I knew a friend of mine who was in love
Love that was real, without doubt, and fear
A wall of trust which was unbreakable
And an overlay of feelings, uncontrollable

Her presence was always his favourite delight
He was always exuberant when he looked into her eyes
Not a day his love lessened, not even in the darkest night
Her thoughts would just make his heart jump with joy

She was beautiful and gorgeous from the inside out
She trusted him to the core without any doubt
Such a bond that was far from any evil eye
Little did she know that something foul was coming by

An intruder entered within the glimpse of an eye
The villain began to trouble her and started to try
Something inappropriate was done by this guy
He even started to blackmail with all sorts of lies

But her lover grabbed his collar, held him by the wall
The anger made him scream and shout
The rage chewed him up, he threw him down like a doll
He was ready to break his jaw and split him out

Maybe for a little while, he was put to shame
He did this for her chanting her name
Took all the abuses and the unnecessary pain
But his love for her helped him sustain

Don't lose him, girl, he's one of a kind
Not when in senses even if you lost your mind
Remember that his love for you will always multiply
Not just for now, but till he dies

Safe Harbour

Sweetling,
the ground is steady here
come, stand beside me
let the world shift and tremble;
still, we remain.
      We are unshaken.

My Dream,
the space is small,
yet dreams unfold,
and no walls confine us.
let us build wonders to the horizon
and monuments that kiss the sky.
      Our story never ends.

My Heart,
the shadows stir with monsters lurking
but they cannot reach us.
Here, we are untouchable,
protected by belonging.
Hold my hand,
and the darkness cannot take us.
      We cast the dark away.

My Star,
a roaring flame burns bright between us
it never flickers nor will it wane,
in its glow, we are immortal,
and kept warm for all our days.
      Let it light the way.

My Love,
this is our place, our safe harbour,
uncharted and unspoiled, our love the only port.
we build it within the folds of time,
a space where we are safe,
a place where we are whole.
Close your eyes, we are home.

Something To Pass the Time

Have your wounds begun to pachyntic?
I can hardly feel mine anymore,
bathe in my sin
let me wash you with my skin,
shall I dedicate my breath to thee?
Your tattoo sleeve glicening in this heat,
don't you realize?
These mountains;
they speak to me
my body lays between them,
water gushing below my feet
I planted those lillies for you,
I'm plagued with a fever
the one you're familiar with,
I see your name written in ink;
I delenda the words,
but in my mind they're on repeat
cantilatting to a forever song
catch a glimpse of my heart;
my lungs too, are inaling you,
you make me feel panurgic
your hand will never be free;
from holding mine,
that's how the universe planned it
and that's how it will be,
I'm lost within you,
don't ever let me be found
ignore the missing reports
just let me read you sweet poetry,
something to pass the time
something to help us sleep.
