Tadhana

I may never know what exactly happened,
but I think I know the why of it

Tadhana…Fate…Destiny…Kismet…

Put it in so many words,
but it all boils down to that.

Tadhana…

shivers down my spine,
tears prickling my eyes,
as I hear once more the story,
the destiny
of two souls
one stormy day in July…

She was being stupid,
crashing into the waves that day
just for the thrill of it

He was being pensive,
reflecting on how those waves
just somehow seemed to soothe him

People slowly left the shores
as dark clouds loomed in the horizon
save for these two souls...

She wasn’t even supposed to be there,
just a spur of the moment thing,
forgetting her other worries
she loved storms, she loved the beach
combine them and for her it was bliss…

He went there for closure,
the 10th year of his brother’s death
trying to accept that he did all he could
he loved him, he loved the beach
but guilt drowned him…

The rains then came down in sheets,
winds whipping, storm waves crashing
she was almost at shore though,
when the undertow pulled her back

He thought he was imagining things,
his brother’s ghost perhaps?
When he saw her again,
and fear was tossed like jetsam

Was she the answer he was seeking for?
His redemption in another form?
Was this the reason why he was here now?
Her only hope for salvation?

Rushing out to sea,
adrenaline rushing through his veins
Faith and Fate working together,
he swam towards her

and as they reached the shore
the winds dropped to a whisper,
the waves went back tickling sand,
the raindrops trickled into drizzles

She was breathing, thank God
He lay beside her, exhausted
She could only thank him with a smile
well, a smile that could match the Sun

and she took his hand...
and put it over her heart

It was not so much that their hands fit perfectly,
but there was something else...
mole on her right ring finger
perfectly aligning
mole on his left ring finger

Tadhana.

Shivers down my spine,
tears prickling my eyes,
as I hear once more the story,
the destiny
of two souls
one stormy day in July…
and of why I am here.

** tadhana is a Tagalog word, it can be translated as fate/destiny/kismet

Years of the Rose

Have I not heard the calling of day's gone by
or sat in careless prose and wondered why?
but years are as the rose
which are but reflections
that no one person knows-

I have sought with wonder
the diamonds in your eyes
but when the memories came
as falling rain
I couldn't help but cry
for my soul was wracked with pain-

The beauty of your heart
is always mine to keep
and knowing so much loss
each day I cannot help but weep-

But hold you close I always will
the beautiful star you are
for I know that no matter how far
each day I will love you still-

'' My verse was inspired by the lessons I have learned in this life....A canvass with so many colors, a book with so many blank pages, Let me be as the rain and nourish those I touch with my writing"

To All My Souper Friends

I wanted to thank each of you personally, but there are to many
of you so I am writing this to all who have been willing to put up
with my sad and dark poems and all the kind comments you have
made.I have been overwhelmed with friendship since I joined the soup.
I never knew there were people like all of you out there, but I have
discovered that there is.I have struggled all my life with depression,
and other mental illnesses. My outlook on life is said through
my poems.I don't know myself when I will decide I can't take the pain
anymore. It is a day to day struggle for me.HG,you asked me how could
you write a suicide poem and not die?I can't answer that question,
and Douglas Ace you asked what our friendship means to me?That I
can answer. It means more than anything to me and your kind and
gentle words are all taken to heart.Linda Marie has also helped through
my trying times.Jeralynn Clark, and James Fraser, wrote a poem for me,
which I appreciate more than words can say.I wanted to write this to
everyone and I hope you all get everything you ask for.I can't keep
fighting the feelings that I feel about ending it all.It is a day after day
feeling and I am tired.I will watch over all of you.I just can't hold on
to the future when all I think about is the past. You all think I need
help and I agree ,but have yet to find the help that is going to change
the way I feel. Please read my poem Is There A Heaven. When I find
out you all will be the first to know.I must go now and I hope you
all can understand why.Thank you I know isn't enough but I don't know
what else to say to show how much you all meant to me.Peace and
Love to all of you.Pray for me.

                                                     YOUR SOUPER FRIEND,
                                                       Colleen Marie Bono

...Until All the Stars Go Out

I will love you
As long as my lungs fill with air
To motivate my beating heart
To stir lifeblood through each part
Pulsating, animating there.

I will love you
As long as each new idea
Connects thought to tongue
Connects my mind along
Reasons for drawing you near.

I will love you
As long as the Earth will turn
Always to gently spin
Always a Day to begin
With you, for your love I yearn.

I will love you
Until clouds are no more
Or oceans evaporate,
Or mountains disintegrate
Into pebbles on the seashore.

I will love you
Until the constant Moon
Makes no oceans ebb and flow
Makes no continents shrink or grow,
That day will be too soon.

I will love you
Until all the stars go out
Never to give forth their light
Never to enhance the night
But blot our Eternity out…

Angel

It was a dark and lonely life
Living each day in total madness
Always in chaos, always in strife
An ordinary life full of sadness

Then one day an angel came
She came in a mortal's disguise
Healing me, taking away my shame
Loving me, making my soul rise

She was wearing an ordinary house dress
Looking simple but stunningly glorious
From my life she cleaned up the mess
Making me feel so gallantly victorious

I never believed angels were real
Never believed until the day she came
Now I'm a changed man by the way I feel
True love for my lovely angel I proclaim

If I be granted a longer lease
And live this life a little longer
It would give me joy if her I can please
Love her, hold her and in my heart keep her

If Just For Today

If just for today ,could you take someones hand,
Look into their eyes and say, " I understand".

If just for today, could you not judge someone so fast.
Think about tomorrow and forget about the past.

If just for today, could you try to do your part,
forget about everything else, and give from the heart.

If just for today, could you open your arms wide.
Isn't it about time that you threw away, that pride.

If just for today, could you take a look around.
Bask in the simplicity, of every little sound.

If just for today, be aware of the words you say.
Thank God for his mercy and take time to pray.

If just for today, put the little things behind,
you'll be surprised at what you may find.

If just for today why don't you put an end,
to that silly argument that you had with a friend.

If just for today remember out Lord above,
fill your day with laughter and people you love.

One day is a moment, but it can become two.
you would be amazed at all the "ifs" you can do.

What the Future Holds??

He never knew what the future holds,
As he took the steps on the path unknown..!!
With a face that has a glow,
Little did he know there sits an angel,
Nothing like any man had ever known..!!
The first look in her eyes and he lost his heart;
The first words and the time turned slow,
He found the love he always looked for..!!
Days went by and he was happy,
Happy that he saw everyday who he adore..!!
The world was never this beautiful,
A joy that he had never felt before..!!

That day he was sad as he didn’t see her,
He walked alone with thoughts making him cry..!!
Then the little birdie sang,
It was in sweet voice of the Angel..!!
The day was bright again and smiles were back;
His soul was fresh, as his new life began..!!
Each day the birdie came with reasons to smile,
Love began blowing with the wind;
As if she had used a magic wand..!!
The first day of the New Year finally they met,
No one else knew just the two of them;
That day was the first but was their secret..!!
Never did he feel what he felt when she smiled,
With every word she said made his soul sooth..!!
Her touch made his soul rejoice,
She touched his heart the way only an Angel could..!!
His days started listening to her voice,
Every day he woke up early just to see her asleep..!!
Just be with her he did everything a mortal could,
A single tear in was enough to make him weep..!!
He loved her more than anyone he ever loved before,
What family? What friends?
He left all just to be with her..!!

Then, she fell in love..!!
In love with the one,
The one all knew always on a hunt for new doves..!!
She left the one, who left the world for her,
But, she fell in love..!!
No one to blame but he himself..,
He loved an angel..;
Being a mere mortal..!!
He never knew what the future held,
And
Now, it’s time for the final good bye..!!

Just Right Here

Outburst of joy from the silvery streaks,
Of skies with blue and clouds that speak -
Silenced by the breeze, the waves flow through
Washing the past...for a life so new.

If only my heart could touch you now
It will speak of love and a solemn vow
With a new day from a lullabye of the night
My life with you starts a brighter sight.

You wake me up from my deep slumber
When all else were gone in mid-September
We met and crossed the bridge in May
I held your hand..."I'm willing to stay."

Now the sun is up and seeks for us, apart
A lot of questions congest my heart
Why should we be so far from each other?
Will destiny lead us through, so soon to be together?

I ache so much to wake up, alone
From the sturdy night my strength can hone
Lest I forget that, there's always YOU, my day should start
I will just close my eyes...and look inside my heart.

Premium Member Live, Laugh, Love

Live life to its fullest, each and every day
Is there any good reason to live another way
Visualize happiness and happiness here will stay
Even in times of trouble, is what the wise men say

Laughing every day is a goal we all should set
And laughing at ourselves is a better target yet
Unhappy people are those we should forget
Greeting each day with laughter you never will regret
Happiness is contagious; a disease I hope I get

Love is a gift that we should give to one another
Opportunity abounds to love others like a brother
Victims of hate are slow to fully recover
Encourage you, I do, to be a Liver, a Laugher and a Lover

I'M Not Ashamed of Who I Am

A Bible thumper how sweet the sound,
That means I’m in search of hallowed grounds.
That means I was lost but now am found,
And know the meaning of Heaven bound.

That day His blood was spilled upon the cross,
To bring salvation and hope to all who are lost.
Father forgive them for they know not what they do,
Even to this day those words still echo true.

I pray for those who laugh and curse His name,
For one day they must answer for their words of shame.
There is not a lot I can say except I believe His word to be our greatest gift,
And know that His return will be mighty and swift.

I pity those that don’t believe an take His name in vain,
For upon His return it will be too late to take part of our Saviors reign.
For upon that day they will be cast away to suffer in torment for evermore,
I just pray they open their eyes before it is too late and see what they all have in store.

Bible thumper, holy roller that pretty much describes me to a tee,
I love the one called Jesus and know He died for me.
Should you ever choose to cross over that line,
I’ll welcome you as a friend if that is not being too asinine.

Premium Member Love Is Like Porcelain

Love is like porcelain
So perfect and smooth
Two sides giving
With so much to lose

Love is like building blocks
Lived day by day
Words can say
But only true hearts display

Love is like porcelain
When cracked can go wrong
Impurities take over
We never sing the same song

Love is like building blocks
By day they reside
If they crumble and fall
Then grows the divide

Love is like porcelain
It has to be lived
Fifty, fifty
Each has to give

One Day I Will Ask My Friend.

One day I will ask my friend
why He chose blue, for water
and sky, and why He chose green
for grass, brown for dirt and black
for night, pink for the sunset, and
yellow for the moon, sun, and stars.

But one day I will ask Him why He
chose them al, for the Rainbow!

One More Day;

Every day and every night,
i toss and turn in a sleepless fight.
In my heart and on my mind,
in my dreams, it's you i'll find.
One more day is all i need,
but one more day won't make you see.
You're all i want,
you're all i need;
just one more day is all i plead.
For every day i spend with you,
more and more our love will brew.

Premium Member 'a Mold That Fits'

that day my smile
sucked you in,
to places where things
crawl because they are too tall to walk
and yet you stood up,
you stood out
not twisted,
like you always belonged
like that space was carved with you in mind

the mold that fits
the one thing that change form
and yet it stays the same
the comfort
the easiness
pure joy
from that day

it still remains a mystery
whose plot it was to make
me smile
who wanted us to meet
it can never be this easy
to like something so quickly
to feel like you've come home
even though you never left

still feeling that day
still feel you standing tall
as if the mold was made for you...

Time To Get Ready To Go Out On the Town

Time to get ready to go… out on the town
Getting prepared… all dressed up… in evening gown
Glimmer and lace… plans on going to a fancy place
With some sparkle within the silk…dress
With slight slit up the side… High heels
Nylons… the kind that fits all size
Long brown hair half up-half down
Necklace that has radiant diamonds
Combined with sapphire stones
Earrings that sparkle as they dangle… down

While she gets ready... he is too
Dressing up.. in his nice blue suit
Set with tie... and shiny black shoes
He can't wait for the time... they meet
He remember her beauty... SOoo sweet
He leaves to pick her up... sweeping her off her feet
He prepares with roses and champagne.. and his plans

Time is ticking… Awaiting to go out on the town
Her man comes... to take her away
In a horse... in a buggy
giving roses... carring champagne
Taking her to that special place
Where everyone gathers… to celebrate
At Midnight… Welcoming in The New Year!

~Reminds me~ of how it will be
As time is ticking… be awaiting
For the day of our Lord… Jesus comes to take us away
Rapture takes place… whosoever received God's Grace
Will all meet together in the air
Trumpets will blow… Angels will sing
Victory Celebration!!!… Worshiping Our Majestic King

~Time is Now at hand… are you getting ready?~
~come believe in Jesus.. then together we celebrate on the day of our Lord~
