Blindly..
I beseech you
for my eyes won’t adjust
to this shaded maze of despair -
neither the lantern’s flame
nor a compass rose can help me now
in disrepair I need to find you
with fingers outstretched I raise my arms
groping for you like a eyeless babe for her mother
..but you’re not there —
   a cunning thief this despair
for stealing my sight for a way out

Why won’t the summer solstice light this darkness
nor warm this anguished atmosphere..
am I to die here where I lie?
my undressed soul exposed to the wind-chill of your loss
naked in biting throes beneath a stony sun
desperate to thaw ice dams lodged in my bloodstream..
the winter sallow of my heart’s shallows a skater’s delight —
   a cunning partner this despair..
     ice-dancing with my pain

Where is the air I need to breathe..?
it’s evaporated with you and the dreams we used to dream
the weaver a double-dealer stealer..
life no longer lives in my poker-faced lifestyle
nor in fantasies long gone from sleep’s clouds
moth-eaten desires and grit and tears
too holey and harsh to knit a warm reason to swaddle in -
just let me close heavy hope-chest-lids of empty eyes
and take my last shrinking violet breath —
   a cunning spy this despair
for infiltrating my will to survive..

The paintings where discovered in an old barn
The crime of the century
All six paintings masterpieces
All the locals where questioned at length and width
No one had but a single clue
Except for the local art dealer
He whispered to the inspector
I saw a very colorful van
Drive off in the night
It was not someone from around here inspector
The inspector asked Theo, did you hear anything?
The art dealer replied I am hard of hearing you see
Upon which he proffered a flask from his breast pocket
I think Vincent lives near there, off you go and ask him
When the inspector sought out this new witness
He was no where to be found
They suspected it was his van
In conclusion
Vincent Van Gogh
And was never found

Notes: In America we pronounce his name Van Go, not Van Goff

The Theft of Your Potential Remains In the Future

It is Never Too Late to Be What You Were Born to Be
You are a creature of purpose
Therefore empower yourself with what is already yours!
Passion and the power of your vision
Can be displayed in your life
All you need is that decision and
You can enhance the precision in your life.

Procrastination might be wrong!
In this century
Now is the time to live strong
Accumulate the thoughts you have left behind
Because the theft of your potential remains in the future.
Do not let the cemetery rob you of your potential
Fulfillment of your purpose is essential to your life so
This matter of persistence is certainly not inconsequential.

Believe in the steps of time or else
The crime of procrastination will follow and
You will live a shallow life
The theft of your potential remains in the future
Therefore empower yourself with what is already yours!
It is never too late to be what you were born to be.

The Land of Legerdemain

Let's look to the land of Legerdemain
locale with surprises by sleight-of-hand.
Cards, coins, magic wands tax one's eyes and brain;
absorbed, we watch street performers grandstand.
Legerdemain - skullduggery pre-planned,
audience rapt in magic so diverse
assistants can pinch your wallet or purse.
True talent of prestidigitation
would never aid legerdemain’s perverse
misuse of skillful manipulation.

Petty Theft

Your actions are so cruel
So calculated and quick
Within an instant
You take what you want
Because you feel entitled
You've destroyed trust
In those you should be closest to
By coveting others
Your needs outweigh
Close relationships and bonds

Why must you destroy
Others memories of joy
Be taking treasured things
You've destroyed the joy
And replaced it with scorn
Your jealousy overpowers
And feeds this evil task
Of stealing things
From those you say you love

How can you live with yourself?
Do you have no conscience at all?
Yet you deny deny deny
And never own up to the truth
No one believes you
But you.

Your M.O. Is the same
You reorganize to hide
The things you placed in your hands
But remember that dirty spot
Cannot be washed off from your hands
Once you've stolen you've destroyed
Any trust you ever had

I thought this may be a illness
A sickness or disease
But when you broke instead of took
I realized it was the emerald
The jewel at its purest state
Crystallizing within
The ugliness in your heart

I no longer pity you
I'm angry at the destruction
Created by your taking
Of the things
So important to others, yet not to you
Coveting is jealousy and that is
A sin against those you steal from

Zionist Crimes

In lands where olive trees were once tended with care
echoes of laughter from the indigenous ones
beneath a sky where foreigners cast their lies

Where dreams were lost and all hope died
children's eyes opened wide with fear
memories of peace now blurred and unclear

Horrors whispered in the dark of night
Zionists crimes of plunder and plight
fields once fertile now stolen by knife

In the name of the mafia they've taken my child's life

River Theft – Haiku

Bug dodges down to river
Trout bites, swallows whole

Grand Theft Audio

lets shout it out
lets move it to the streets
bang that car spanked-out speakers
to the rumble of the mass beat

now bass line that big crying baby
till it sounds
low and sweet (voice deep)

shake off all there inhibition
and bring them to the dance floor

now let the bass sound
take you
where you want to be

let the bass line hit you
so you can stomp your feet
(instrumental strong bass)

can you feel that rumble
and you feel the beat
bass line it up
so you don't
step on her feet

Identity Theft

He applied
For the
Job

The job had
Been filled

It was posted
Ten minutes ago

It had to be
An internal
Deal

She was approved for a car
The dealer said
"This may break your heart
But the car has been
Sold"

She walked down the street
And who did she meet?

The man who's
Job had been
Filled

They talked as they walked

Then it was revealed

They thought
That misfortune
Was an identity thief

Who only likes
To steal

Identity Theft

You steal the shape of every curve
On every woman I deserve.
Your mask always covers the face
Of each girl I'd care to embrace.
Our past will not let me erase
Your image, not even a trace.
Now I fear all women left,
From your identity theft.

Theft of Time

Like a thief in the night who robs you blind,
Time steals away your youth, leaving old age behind.

I don't know why you feel you gotta lie
learn to be real - you ain't got to steal
just cause you say - it really ain't that way
doesn't make it so - well you outta know

you think your one up, it's just another come up
here is what you must know, you need a new hustle
cause you say it's not so - doesn't change the fact yo
you say it's not true - still, I don't like being lied too

you try to flip the script - you think you're well equipped
it won't change my mind, you're yelling all the time
chaos and stress unwind, clarity not far behind
the more that you scream, it was you, wasn't me

trying to pass the buck, confuse things what the f***
whatever you took, wasn't by the book
karma is a b**** she'll throw you a hitch
all will be returned - no lesson you have learned
you were unconcerned, you hurt the one you burned

I don't even know though, how far you would go
you seem real concerned - that trust you have to earn
you think that your owed, that just goes to show
you are deranged - my opinion will not change

you'll still be the same - a hustler you'll remain
without any game - you will always come up lame
but without any dame - that will ever take your name
it will all be in vain - if the lying doesn't change
