Premium Member You Tempt Me

You tempt me
As I sense your presence by my side
The whisper of your flowing silken dress
A whiff of fragrant jasmine scent.

You tempt me
With each flicker of your doe-brown eyes
Shadowed in lilac hues and full dark lashes
A smile, partly concealed on pouting lips.

You tempt me
With curvaceous waves of long black hair
Cascading by glowing peach-rose cheeks
Rising, falling on your breast with every breath.

You tempt me
As you stand against the evening light
The Aphrodite of my dreams and fantasies
Seductive, alluring and desirable.

I temp you
As gently I pull back my straying hair
Nestled on the fullness of my breast
Exposing what your famished eyes are feasting on.

I tempt you
In silent expectation my body glows
With purpose of fulfilment I slowly make my way to you
My haloed shadow dances on your rigid form.

I tempt you
Breathless, you lean against the wall
My desires surging at this sign of weakness
Within inches of your body, I languidly pause.

I tempt you
Sensuously, at satin ribbons my fingers pull
Until my struggling gown hesitantly quivers
Before it glides and gathers at my feet.

I tempt you
Grounded by wanton cravings, I look you in the eyes
I simply smoulder there within your reach
The final vestige of abstinence still lingers in the air.

I tempt you
Then I lean in, my breath is warm upon your check
Against your heaving chest my breasts now brush
I breathe and whisper softly “Come to me.”

I tempt you
Inveigled in this rare moment, my heart bursts
As you crush my body tightly against yours
You taste the temptress kiss that frees your needs.

I tempt you
For my heart has long been tempted
By strong unquenched desires
For you.

Premium Member Stars Tempt Our Senses

It was time to visit the stars
To embrace them with my senses
Though the price was astronomic
I saved up for the expenses

Most think stars are unreachable
Due to the heat that they emit
But perhaps they’re very cautious
Just like a candle barely lit

To my delight way out in space
I manned microphones to listen
And those astral bodies obliged
With unheard of stellar hissin’

Yet as I approached a star’s sphere
After flying the cosmic trades
The brightness was so intense, that
I had to double up my shades

And I can describe what I saw:
Just imagine a sunrise view
As seen, not through a broad window
But rather in the room with you

So no doubt that shine would lead one
To coming to the conclusion
That stars are inhospitable
But my suit was safe for fusion

I attempted smelling their scent
But was honestly not impressed
As the smell was like burnt popcorn
Which is an odor I detest

I couldn’t say that star was burnt
For that flawed logic is misplaced
Yet that stench made me hesitate
To give a roasted star a taste

Sure it twinkles in the dark sky
Like a sugary cosmic treat
But just like mentioning candy
It would probably wreck my teeth

Lastly, touching a star is like
A swimming pool in the hot sun
With those spots of warmer water
Times a million degrees, plus one

Visiting the cosmos was worth
Having stars arouse my senses
Yet it isn’t for everyone
And comes with some consequences

But don’t you take my word for it
When you are traveling in space
Since stars are an acquired love
To be approached at your own pace

Premium Member All Things Can Tempt Me

All things can tempt me from composing words
I long to write praising these carefree birds.
A nice sonnet by noon could be achieved,
But first my bladder needs to be relieved!
Oh wait, there’s gardening that must be done,
Plus meals. Then chores – the enemy of fun.
In time, the supper bell has beckoned me,
Followed by News and Wheel and Jeopardy.
Bedtime! Line 1 alone is done; such sorrow -
I’ll have to write the next thirteen tomorrow.

Dont Tempt Me

temptation is only the bait
what follows is much worse in fate
you just take a bite
then no need to fight
you're stuck in the spiritual gate

Premium Member Tempt Not Thy Creator

Titanic unsinkable - guaranteed

     Another example of mankind's greed

Man dared nature - man lost

               At a most dreadful cost

"Tempt not thy Creator" man should heed

Premium Member All Things Can Tempt Me

All things can tempt me from the verse I need to write:
Even the dishes can sway me from my plight.
The rain, it’s lashing hard upon the window pane.
It’s stopped - I’ll write. No! There it goes again.
Could it be I’m too tired? Could it be I’m bored?
Once again, I discover, I’m worryingly flawed!
The suns too hot. Far too hot I do declare,
It’s doing absolutely nothing for my creative flair.

The paper is still blank, the nothingness a clue,
Too many things tempt, just between me and you!!

Tempt Me Not

Knowing what you meant invokes me to cry
Did you mean to be so completely cruel
You found the ones wounded in me how
Too comfortable with discouragement now
That only took a single blow
Blow by blow we never know
Did you mean to steal courage away
I’ve never met the real you day after day
Never been good at all about what flew
Just look through me again and again
The transparent always get seen right through
Monsters can have a peppermint view
Not to say what their masters do
Shocking is always a lie in disguise
Drag your heals deeper to cry
Find that trust you hide inside
Sorry never felt fright in your arms
Always something setting traps and alarms
More or less filthy thoughts of bedroom harms
Flowers cascading from the dread
Savage beast go skipping ahead
Without you I would have one less eye
Knowing what you meant invokes me to cry.

Premium Member Why Tempt Fate

courting danger and driven to foolish heights for some
genetics enable calculated risks
proving that dopamine minds
mostly roll the dice
why tempt fate
Freud’s finds
slips of the tongue misstatements reveal underlying
thoughts the unconscious has drives as do chipped disks
disciplined by providence
warns those to think twice
why tempt fate
surely
we’re aware that one thought linked strangely to another
a concatenation of circumstances
or cursed synthetic lifes bet
is doomed destiny
why tempt fate
if set

Tempt Me Or Not

Outershell awaiting to melt
Teasing me into temptation
Cracks and smudges as I bite
Outershell with fate to crack
Rich indulgence of luxury
Smooth and irresistibly tempting
Decisions of temptation
Outershell with fate to fatten
Rich indulgence of calories
Smooth and irresistibly curvaceous
Decisions of temptation
Outershell with fate of juiceness
Rich indulgence of vitamins
Smooth and irresistibly fresh
Decisions of temptation
Outershell with fate of sexiness
Rich indulgence of beauty
Smooth and irresistibly gorgeous
Decisions of temptation

Dont Tempt Me

Now, its now or never, its not an option at all I'm telling you
just being strictly honest inbtween hearts it is Love that compells me
Its my composure that you have shot into pieces, your eyes stab me in the heart like daggers
Now I stagger, I'm putty in your hands no doubt you got me wrapped around your pinky
My friends be like how come we ain't seen you? I say man I'm done for becuz on me she has cast a love spell
And if they think I'm recovering soon I hate to be the barrier of bad news, Together we're a force of nature like the waves that beat against the cliff
I can't really explain the exact extent of our relationship, but ill take the risk, and if my heart gets broken I'll lick the wounds
We are like soldiers that go out to war, she chose me, and many are called but few are chosen
she's true as far as I can see her heart sees
IF I'm cold she says here let me put my arms around you

All Things Can Tempt Me

All things can tempt me, albeit, rapture,
Quill be as ready, for the next chapter,
Favor the poets who savor the art,
Eloquent locutions sweetly impart,
Unlike some poets too busy with swords,
Fancifully toss their well-chosen words,
Nay, let e'er a woman's face be as worse,
That it dulls the edges of a poet's verse,
But yea e'er it naught steal a poets words,
Let beauty soar on the wings of the birds.

All Things Can Tempt Me

All things can tempt me - my pen remains quiet,
Spellbound by downpours - thunder in riots;
A walk with the dog – that last chocolate cookie,
Final sales tempting – I want to play hooky;
An oncoming nap sneaking up from behind -
Hunger on tiptoes, raving munchies unkind;
Watching my backyard – crazy squirrels in the trees -
Wrestling with writer’s block – new recipes;
Football and baseball – deep rivalry blues -
So tempt me to ignore my friend, my muse.

All Things Can Tempt Me

Material manifestation makes man want to make things go far.

The desire to acquire is like fire burning in every twinkling star.

Many have been lost in illusion of the self for not knowing who we are.

Misguided, misled , and misjudged by selfishness of the judges at the bar.

When the law become bed time stories, fairy tales and proverb.
The child will definitely become furgitive fella in cops cab.

My land is a land where every single green leave is a real herb.
But to my greatest suprise, there was no medicine in our physician's lab.

Now almost everybody in every corner is living in deathly panic.
That the only food to be eating everywhere now is garlic.
What is this, a waking nightmare of a scary pandemic?
One that seems they haven't known in all their time in acedemic.

Let's not be tempt with fear let's wear the heart that understand.
That we can eat what they want and still properly watch our hand.
And live fearlessly so bright, ready for whatever that may land.
Because we are all chlidren of light and we all are grand in many brand.

Tempt Me 2 B Funny

Tempt me to be funny
And I will be sharp on the money
And I will rattle off a joke
At some poor souls expense
But words will never hurt me
