All Things Can Tempt Me All things can tempt me, albeit, rapture, Quill be as ready, for the next chapter, Favor the poets who savor the art, Eloquent locutions sweetly impart, Unlike some poets too busy with swords, Fancifully toss their well-chosen words, Nay, let e'er a woman's face be as worse, That it dulls the edges of a poet's verse, But yea e'er it naught steal a poets words, Let beauty soar on the wings of the birds. 2020 February 18 *2nd Place* All Things Can Tempt Me ~~Beth Evans *Honorable Mention* STRAND SELECT U,any form ,any theme ~~Brian Strand Rhyme Scheme; aa, bb, cc, dd, ee.
