Premium Member Farewell To Summer

Fabulous is summer’s zeal, rustling its vibrant appeal
Allured by song of robins, warbling from willow trees
Rhapsodic in revelry of frolicking shamrock prairies
Enticing lovers’ exuberance waltzing on ocean breeze
Where sandy footprints amble, exuding playful hints
Eagerly invoking love through kindled vibes of fantasies
Luxuriating on beaches, reminiscing sensual musings
Longingly indulging in smitten hearts’ fervent dreams

Tantalized by multicolored choreography of monarchs
Orbiting scented blossoms, articulating random dance

Seduced by fiery vistas invoking passions of romance
Ubiquitous in changing colors beckoning advent of fall
Meticulously browning fields where cattle lazily graze
Mesmerized in twilight blaze, scintillating orange-red
Ebulliently painting horizon in decaying crimson glaze
Ruminating autumn’s brilliance in summer’s farewell

Crystallized Tears

Crystallized tears

When time, marched by the flame of a candle
The fear, from the swords and peak of the temple
When the virgin liberty was in a dungeon
Tyranny was and is still for souls to be sunken

New belief, a hope, lifts inquests and conflicts
Empires, built on bones, and by others eclipses
The game of kings, the war, ascendancy and gain
With their seers, they conquest more and again

The crystallized tears, marked the face of the earth
From timeless injustice and the avarice's mirth
Thence, the cannon, from the crust was born
And the flesh of man, continues to be torn

The war and coins are the trade of their life
Thence, greed and death for the elite, shall thrive
The fabrics of history, was sown by them and then
The keys of the globe, were in chains and so was the pen

The hope, was an orphan and lived with ghosts
The rise of freedom, was seen far and from every coast
Thence, tyranny turned the fear, from sword to fear by law
So the the elite can keep their liberty by code and claw
The ocean in quest, to the harbor, was by his waves
To wash the marks on land printed by the feet of the slaves

Freedom, he said, is the breath of the soul, to be blessed
Since dawn, it tantalized earth and man to have rest
Those souls, as yet, fighting the chains and webs
Until eternity, by the elite, they will remain oppressed

Premium Member Where Orchids Dream

I was a vibrant vanda thriving
  in a wondrous place ~where orchids dream~
and you were a wandering gardener.
Each day you came around
                  persistent as a bee
   murmuring flattering words to me
         until at last . . .
you decided to pluck me up.

No longer was I simply captured
                    by your gaze.
My precious petals then lay open
               in your hands.
  You could feel my heartbeat
            for we became as one,
                      and ~trapped in your pulse~
I could read the poetry that palpitated
inside your strange but fertile mind.
Mesmerized was I, yet I also knew
                                        I tantalized you.
For a time, our story was not that of
                           garden variety.
You were my sun, but what was I to you?
Many were the other exotic flowers
                                   of your fantasies.

Caressed and kissed by you,
I was at first in bliss
       but passion is ephemeral,
and what you took for love was something
that I grew to see as something else and
           overbearing -
later on . . . even as perverse.
As you pressed my pretty petals to you,
      my fragrant essence you were
               snuffing…. OUT
No longer did I even want to know you.

Freed from you now,
              I’m restored to normalcy,
a part of me aware that
~I am the asylum of your ache~
                            even today.
But ~I taste your truth~ of toxicity
a nasty reality when laid bare
       and which at long last
         I SPAT OUT
you can have your putrid poems.
                 They are now
                      for me
              ~verses in ash~

       "Awake Sweet Stolen Dream"

I wandered outside my conscious element of thought
drifting into wonderlust of dreamland sequences like photographs
as I inhaled fragrant winds gliding upon gossamer wings
of lace and satin, streaming through pink cotton candy clouds.

I touched a rainbow traveling warp speed to rendezvous
with my lover, who appeared at my sheer will's emotion
for I had cast a magic spell upon his heart with hypnotic trance
he, helpless, had no recourse but to obey my dreamy wishes.

I tantalized my lovers' soul with happy innuendo as my muse
in dreams, love escalates to ultimate desire without penalty
then, suddenly, a rival resonated her displeasure of my game
fury of the White Witch chased me with her fiery wand, to mame.

my delicate dream evolved into nightmarish tone of fearfulness
as she drew closer, I realized consequences to treat love frivolously
so blatantly. as my tender tears urged my mind desperately to
awake from sweet stolen dream whose horror left me breathless.

in panic state secreting droplets of perspiration on flesh and bone
I released my fair silky skin from black lace negligee' trying
to open sleepy eyes of green stinging from tears of sorrow
peering across the bed, your warmth still lying there to caress.

that night I made a vow to cherish love so good and true
for dreams are predictors; omens of future events to come
waking to reality I treasure the beauty of love, not as a toy
to trifle with, as love will banish nightmares from realm of dreams.

as I awake from my sweet stolen dream of wanton folly
my heart is renewed in spirit with a softer side to dwell
among Angels rather than the evil dark side of manipulation
I now know Heaven is real .. and so is Hell.

CRAZE DURING FOOTBALL GAME

Up yellows; greens; reds and blue,
tell me! Tell me, who is through?
Passes. Crosses. Headers. Shots.
Volleys, blasters, more scissor kicks
tell me! Tell me, whose on the spot!

Ninety minutes with some overtime
eleven players playing in the field
each one targets to be World Champ!
The strikers and defenders immense
so are Audience claps, dance, rants!

Dripping sweat from turning, running
Tension rising! Twists are rocketing!
Audience wriggling, nonstop cheering!
Thriller, action, comedy plus tragedy,
Oh all are drawn by its classic drama.

Perplex hard attacks, clever corners
rise from a penalty or free kick yell!
Elicits an alarm to goalie keepers' eye
He in eagle's arms and kangaroo leap
Tell me! Tell me, has one scored a goal?

Around the globe, fellas or gents in craze,
amazed and tantalized by Football game!

Premium Member Stolen Kiss

We’re closed neighbors, we cared for each other
I trusted you dearly, I was your girl
You’re like my father or older brother
Your friendship was a gift - a precious pearl

Every moment with you was a sunshine
We played music, sang… held each other’s hand
If I cried, your warm hugs made me feel fine
Your words inspired me to grow, to stand

One day, you mixed up all stars in my sight,
Drew my face close to your tantalized eyes
An odd feeling, was it tremble or fright?
Stiffen by your stolen kiss, just thrilled thrice

So mad with your new surprise, I must sting
But you swore to come back with a bondring

Premium Member Our Heaven's In Sight

the words of wild wonder are quiet, so still
lost in translation the thunder, the thrill
lines now just maim, they wound, and they kill
but strength has returned, to live and to will

flowered remembrance, I stamp and I crush
I turn a deaf ear to yesterday's rush
I dream in new plains, so vivid so lush
paint pleasure's picture with this broken brush

I smile and sojourn to idyllic plain
serenaded by sun raptured by rain
there is no poison, my life force to drain
the breeze breathes blessings and wisdom I gain

to land where I travel, come let me lead
forget those past days, forget that you bleed
my wings can carry, your soul can be freed
I'll feed you my love, fulfill every need

the flight won't be long, our heaven's in sight
It's a thought away, a kiss in the night
a tantalized tryst; desire's delight
travel with me, to the sun, to the light

Premium Member The Dream

It was something
that brought a smile
to my face.

It had unusual underpinnings
with desirable overtones,
a pleasurable experience

as I wandered aimlessly
through concoctions Neanderthal
perpetuations ministered aloft

in dreams drearily
bound by time, space
glittery amidst synchronizing

to a land of make-believe
where all desires
could be fulfilled

it tantalized senses
drifting through subconscious
perplexity illuminating

dismal repercussions stifled
by cold truths.

Hey Mister Tom Cunningham,
You are definitely the man,
Your poetic talents reaching far,
Your taste buds tantalized by a
Marmite jar!

Hold My Gaze In a Drop of Dew

There is nothing left of life
 that death cannot resolve,
times velocity spins on stolen lips
 and minute pieces of adamantine
 pierce the edge of soles
 worn with pain

----

Right here,
 Where night and dawn merge
 the membrane strains
 cleaving, as shade blackens blue
 for mere milli seconds

Standing in the hollows of night
 still, watching forever shimmering
in the shadowed corner of my eye,
I, me, always a curious creature
 swallow bricks and mortar
 tasting truth

In my head an orchestra plays
the symphonies composed of my life
strings wring my heart with melodies
 wrought in pain and self-loathing
 shame and eventual surrender
 to the beat

But,
 in the beauty of renewal
in the peace of your reflections
 I've wondered at the universe
 memorizing the mysteries unsolved
 ever tantalized neurons smashed
 awakening ever and over again

Sleep has been a foreign land
 settled by the fortunate
 longed for by the tortured
 spirits of my mind

Yet in these dark magnificent galaxies
when snores softly sigh in peace
 or monsters haunt your dreams,
I have watched millennia of mourning
shatter the promise of darkness evermore,
I wondered as sunshine held a drop of dew
and as light of hope captured the ghosts of night
banishing them forevermore, or until nights edge

I am a watcher and a teller of tales
Singer of forbidden songs and tragedy,
downtrodden, I rose to fight again and again
 with a schizophrenic mind harnessed
within the beauty of a single star
 and the promise of humanity
in the kindness of a strangers touch

Now at the end of all journeys
my final battle lays in that
 which I know not, shackled
that foreign land whisks me away
 again and again, dreams cease
as moisture rolls from my brow

---

Slowly, slowly, slowly
 winding down into nothingness
 Gently, gently, gently
I will lay down your cries of grief

My words aren’t never-ending
 my breath will someday cease
Yet true beauty and wonder lies
in the wondrous infinity of peace

just look into these eyes overflowing with pain
know !! there will be an end, even that shall ease ...

Does He

DOES HE
Does he touch you with deep cabernet dreams,
or is it all white wine passion?
does your heart race from his nearness?
is there surrender in his scent?
does he tempt you?
does he leave you breathless?
are you tantalized with jalapeno kisses,
like butterflies stinging spicy pleasure on your inner thighs?
does he entice you?
do you feel wicked and waxened?
do you scream bruja's incantations
moan verses of ancient runes?
is your ****** seismic?
does he read like a mystery with a hint of gypsy blood?
does he consume you?
can he make you laugh in color?
does he feed your madness calm your storm?
does he feel betrayed by your shadow?
is he envious and jealous of your light?
does he sit in stillness while you listen to your muse?
does he make you feel whole?
does he?
does he?
i once did!
didn't i?

Premium Member My New Home Finalised

By morning, I could feel the first hints of warm air,
Relieved I took my bath and dressed for work.
There was no music in the block of flats,
But in my head rumbled a hundred old time songs
That tantalized me into a stupor of great expectancy.

Down stairs, near the elevator, was an old woman.
I was shocked to see her on a wheelchair, eyes vacant.
The landlord smiled at me and told me not to worry.
Seems Angelique was to be taken to some rest home.

Her mother just wanted to see that the upstairs
Apartment was in perfect state for the living.
Disappointed at the name I left for work later for my groceries.
Back home I concocted some pasta and cooked the sauce,
Opened my favourite bottle of red wine to drown my sorrows.

Silence reigned supreme and I felt rather annoyed.
So I betook myself to sleep hoping at least to dream.
The phone rang and a dulcet voice asked for me.
She had arrived late and had got nothing prepared for her meal.
Could I take something good for her to eat?

So I put on my track suit and with little or no enthusiasm
Went upstairs with some pasta left over and some wine.
That would be enough I thought, but the mother
Was old enough and should have known better.

Mother? The girl that opened the door was young enough.
A nymph that beckoned me in, in the warm atmosphere,
Balsamic perfume that inundated the cosy apartment,
Low magic music swirled and vibrated everywhere.

My name is Angel she tenderly smiled, shall we dance?
I felt the warmth of her; felt her arms and the dance began.
It did not take long to become lost in her euphoric bliss.
And our lips met, again and again as our hearts beat as one……….

You want to know the end?
We lived happily ever after…….
As all fairy tales should…..

Autumn Arrival

Now,
as the rain falls in tiny droplets on the ground
and the breeze is wafting scents of petrichor,
a soothing oil released by dried decaying plants
   that longed in thirst for reprieve from the burning heat;
only
the rush of wind hustled high in the tree tops sings
brushing gently the leaves upon each branch
pining in oaken roasted acorns and chestnuts,
pinging and popping on the sun drenched fires of autumn.
Teasing and tantalized
  the senses breathe in deeply
  the musk of the forest
where leafy residue, pine needles and fronds pale
in the rise of autumn cascading arrivals.
Coated foliage colored rainbows
lilt hues of yellows, orange and reds,
disfigured curls browning in the last of summer heat
to welcome and bare the mighty sheaths and torsos
that the forest leaves behind in memory of spring.
An equinoctial sundial
marking the trajectory of earth and sun
the rise and fall of time and space
upon the earthen realm of seasons change
greeting autumn, goodbyeing summer, fireside winter hibernation.

Siding With the Sea

The swell and surge of surf
whispers tinnitus conched
on titanium sunken tankers
that rock restlessly on far reef,

as children play unheeded
building imagined bastions,
nursery rhymes drown
turning back cnut tides.

Inevitably,
sand shifts in an hourglass
that plumb the memory's depth
with rosy pictures in ruby flourescence

like monochrome holiday snaps
stored in old bashed biscuit tins
that mother would open on grey
overcast November soaked Sundays.

All oceans are drowned
by the sea's past dregs,as cerulean and cobalt waves
steer towards safe harbors,

tantalized by tinto tinted sunrises
like a rocking pendulum
that plays a metronome symphony,

playing lullabies, rhythms sound
when der holle rache sings
and the nocturnal queen echoes as the dawn breaks.

Translucently, ephemeral light
glistens on children's limbs, water singing as they play,
momentarily soaked in perfection
as delicate beams dance over their fragile bones.

Now amber-crafted moments, Capri's crimson breasts
waves, nestles close to succour infant swells.
Yet magenta lips pout in rock pools,

the breaking and wombing
of waters now birth new journeys
that drive towards a vortex rush.

Defiant boats chase, turning tides in lucent rays,
navigate between lava laced volcanic outcrops

into distant remembered horizons.

Painted In White

PAINTED IN WHITE
-----------------------------
Plethoras of colors produce pallets
Upon the whited sheet of her canvas
Painting her smoothly in sensational elegance
Making known her venue lavished in vibrance

Solid streaks of red, solemn streaks of black
With swimming streams of blue compiled in one stack
Glowing shades of green, savory swarms of yellow
With morning mists of gray to show she's mild/mellow

Such compelling charades of the most aureate colors
Cascading her piece inside their fleece
So warm/cozy she sits up there
Tantalized with thoughts of sitting bare

Beneath the bliss of her maverick's mirage
A virgin vintage veils herself with facades
Of jolly jubilance coated with colors
Conveying one message, concealing another

Her psalm, she sings so boisterous and loud
As her silence secretes a deafened crowd
Her severed heart bleeds red scarlet streams
Profusely pleaing for one to come redeem
Her and quiet the screams sent from her lips
Then taste/sip the drips of blood
Slipping and sliding like a fountain's flood

"Oh, What a dream of a fantasy
Who stilled the swarming storm
Of cascading colors corrupting my form
At least a hint white has placed the night to flight
OH!!! What beauty it was to have that moment of sight.
WOW!!! What a grand delight to see the sun so bright
For a moment, I thought I'd born heaven's light
WELL!!! Seeing freedom's flag was fun while it lasted.
I only wonder when the hearer of my heart will mast it."
