Premium Member A Summer Snowstorm Cold
As I was sitting in my rowboat...at a pond at Martha's Vineyard
I was fishing with my headphones on...listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd
Suddenly, a chilling wind...my god, I almost froze
While fishing with some sun-block on...a snowflake hit my nose
With "Freebird" blasting in my head...I...

Premium Member Reflections of Humanity During a Snowstorm
Bristling yet beguiling winds are
driving snow sheets through the dark,
and, secured by brick and lamp,
I draw a comforter to my breast,
one woven by humanity.

I sense that each quickening gust
is pulling through the loom of time
life's many multi-colored threads.

A hickory brown is borne to me
of ships...

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

The Snowstorm
Flakes of white washing down from above.
No one can tell when will it stop.
Winds crazily blowing against the window,
intend to break, but not an effort made,
then go into the woods become the howling shadows.

Moon shines from the night sky with creepy smile
Such shape and curve,...

and every single thing with his cold fingers, and covers them all with
a white blanket, whispering, now go to sleep..."

Snowstorm

Fight for the barrage of snowflakes begins,
Their primary intention is to take over and to win,
The troops rush in only to dissipate,
The successors expediently charge in t’were fate,
Racing in with a fierce fight,
Taking life and causing it to turn white,
	Unlike a maverick,
These experienced soldiers reek...

Snowstorm
Sacrificing and shimmering
Notoriously
Ominous
Winterwonderland
Salute to the elements
Together we stand
Outside in the blizzard
Rendering all that we can
Mesmerized by the land...

grim starkness of snow
sturdy in its sleeted falling
willing a bleached landscape
a lushness
that chokes the rough field terrain

strides of power
as the fevered wind
spirals In an unexpected direction
inflates drifts like the arched back of a cat
whitening truant brown borders of decay
to bury even shadows

bare trees by...

Summer Snowstorm
Summer Snowstorm

Recalling winters chill and icy glow
That lay upon the whitened banks of snow
Your cheeks are bitten to a cherry red
The polar bears and penguins daily stead

The Spring and Fall have mimicked weather’s norm
With Pea and Duffel coats to keep you warm
Foretelling soon the season...

Like a Snowstorm Upon a Mountain Top
It feels like a snowstorm upon a mountain top.
You call out to no one, but your calls still echo until you're engulfed in your own bitterness.
You grow numb and resent everything until your mind is blank.
The sun doesn't shine.
It just laughs at...

Snowstorm
Ranchin' ain't easy,
an' it don't get no better
when chores are plum' awful
on account a the weather.

Storm clouds start gatherin'
above the horizon-
I dig out long-handles,
I hate 'em like pi'son.

A cold wind starts blowin',
chills a man to the bone.
The future is troublin'
out here on my own.

The...

Winter Iv - Snowstorm In Michigan
Sails of snow
Hoisted
To the roar of northern wind

Wires wild
Leashed to masts
Banging like spoons on pots and pans

Sea of Earth lurching
Beneath
The creaking planks of our house

On we go
Tossed and turned

The bow of our kitchen
Cutting through slaps of whitecaps
Windows sinking

Chimney smoke whipping from the rooftops

Bushes plumed and...

Trash of Charon
It’s quite a sight
To be rescued by a garbage truck
Before anyone or anything else with luck
Rises
So early this morning

After the big snow

Schools closed business delayed
Road uncut by any car
Birds sleeping in

The synapse of tree limbs white feathered with fins
Reaching out for one another in an...
