Snowstorm Haiku

searching through snowdrifts

                           lone sparrow flashes over

                                                     thoughts of survival

Oh very good. This is exactly what it must be like for birds in the north. I especially like the placement of your lines. It feels like a bird flying, having to into the snowbanks to search for food. Very good haiku.

I think sparrow is the only animal we see in this snowy season. Nice observation, HG, with good images. Soup mail!!!!!
