Best Releasing Poems

Premium Member Releasing Tears

there is a river in each soul
flowing smoothly over sand
bubbling over rocky beds
until each living drop falls

Daniel ran through my river
second chance at love
flowing on gentle currents in my heart
waking emotions that lingered in limbo

lily drifting with tide
caught by the strong arm of a tree
until Daniel disappeared in dark water
dam broke; tears surged

lily cascades in...

Premium Member Releasing Me

The choice is mine, to spend my time where seagulls sing for me
A day to play beneath the sun, have fun and feel no shame
My chores undone, but my heart is won by everything I see
Not often have I felt so sure, or found a cure to claim

I'll leave behind the pace the grind that...

Premium Member Releasing Rumour Mongers

Lies from directions I had not expected
Offered in a variety of ways
Apologetically

Pretending to be concerned
I sent them away
Recognizing their imperfections

Seeing them more clearly now
Rumour Mongers
Thriving on gossip

Fabricated by clouded minds
Trouble makers
No longer friends of any kind...

Owning my Song

Cradling every scar,
Singing each pain to the wind,
Till I owned my song....

Premium Member Releasing My Chains

Written: June 20, 2023
______________________________________________________________
Shedding the chains In my mind, anile regrets reside.
A haunting reminder of mistakes I cannot hide.
Self-doubts and hurts cling to my soul.
As heavy chains, dragging me down and taking their toll.

But today I declare, no longer will I be bound,
The weight of these memories keeps me tied down.
I gather the strength...

Premium Member Releasing the World Bound To the Pages

I open the book and turn the pages
Releasing a mythical fantasy
The world and noise around me vanish
I emerge into a world anxiously

Into a touch of real true magic
That is in the making as I breathe deep
My heart pounding under the dramatic
lasting performance my essence will keep

A hunger for another existence
With each...

Morning's Releasing

Into the wind
the heart speaks
the words
that stay hidden
from all others.
Joining with them
the heart spent
words spoken by
sisters and brothers.

The leaves of the trees
seem to gather,
with ease,
every heart-spent phrase.
Waving them each
to the heavens
in turn
then releasing
them in the breeze.

Releasing the Pressure

Girl I like the way you walk and your sexy attitude.

Every time that I'm next to you I feel like I'm on a higher altitude.

You have a gentle smile I just want to be next to you.

And girl just to ease your mind everything that I say is true.

So let me slide in while I'm...

Releasing the Load

A sky’s pasty pallet,
thickly stroked
with a heavy brush,
lends pale shadows
to the earth below
while a filament
of a memory
improves the dreariness
with joyous rays

Soon to follow
comes the rain
as the clouds lessen
their laden load
and the day brightens
as remembrances lighten
and sorrow steams away
on the pavement
of a renewing heart

Releasing the Mental Health Ghosts

Hence, forth I walk.
Too Summer I talk
When I leap, Jump I find.
I am the intellectual suffering voices.
When the voices rise.
I find the drastic Dragon.
Drum-roll.
I excavate terminologies.
Hence I colour the colour-book.
So forth
To remove the shadows
Of the voices, which I brask....

Releasing Your Frustrations

Submit
Not to another
Neither to your inhibitions
Let them be cast like a coat in summer
Free the spirit
That resides within you
Thereby submitting to yourself
Through that
All frustration will release
Only at that time will joy arise
As euphoria becomes the reality for all...

Releasing Tension

Sorry dear,
I've noticed you accidentally
broke another finger nail,
as you raced for the last
fresh lettuce
at the Chinese grocery.

I know
what you can do to forget
all that happened!
Go the beach, and feel
the breeze and taste
of the ocean
on your tongue.

Better still,
you can eat seaweed-
they have oceans' salt,
and still taste
like the ocean.

You can also take a glass
of a 19th...

What Your Silence Is Releasing

Reaching out in this darkness. Screaming with silence, my tears pouring with violence from the return to my cries always being with silence. Used for my kindness and condemned for my reaction somehow always being violent. Sick of being quiet and looked down upon for my loss of strength and crying. My soul daily is...

Releasing the Demons

I want to scream
But I’m down to my last breath
I want to cry
But I fear my death

But today I will be silent
And hold it all in
And let the demons subside
Within me again

 I want to shout
But I’m down to my last breath
I want to laugh
In the face of death

But today I will be silent
And...

Premium Member Releasing Children At Age Eighteen

I had the easiest time letting go of my oldest.
She and I were not getting along any more.
I had to drag her to college and help her sign up.
I stood in line after line, to get her enrolled.

She who acted like I was a devil begged to return home.
The answer was no. I wanted...
