Releasing Tension

Sorry dear,
I've noticed you accidentally
broke another finger nail,
as you raced for the last
fresh lettuce
at the Chinese grocery.

I know
what you can do to forget
all that happened!
Go the beach, and feel
the breeze and taste
of the ocean
on your tongue.

Better still,
you can eat seaweed-
they have oceans' salt,
and still taste
like the ocean.

You can also take a glass
of a 19th century old Venice wine,
instead of drinking coffee
in the cafes of Berlin.

An excellent write Teddy, The words just flow in one stream from start to finish. This is how i release tension, going to the water, the air seems different in itself. The calmness i feel is incredible. A well written piece that deserves a seven Teddy....Vlad.
