Many Coffees Go Cold - Reality Explained

the things you both see
you all see
is merely a continuity safeguard
one of the laws written in to prevent chaos
we can't have multiple lifeforms occupying the same space all seeing and experiencing something different
it just wouldn't work
so we've set impulses to align where and whenever possible
sure as hell easier when you lot are on your own
takes a heap of pressure off the system
that way we suspend everyone else
they're not needed
you don't surely think they're individually living do you
no, just on hold, paused
until you're no longer on your own
then we have our work cut out again
and many coffees go cold

One Electron Universe

What if all was one?
What if the many were merely reflections
Of a single thread,
Looping through the fabric of time?

What if time flows not just forward,
But back—
A river branching,
Yet always meeting itself?

Worldlines traced across spacetime,
Every particle, every moment,
A point on an infinite knot.
Are we watching one dance
Through infinite shadows?

Fractals of leaves like trees,
Swarms of birds and fish,
Herds of elk and bison—
A fractal curve repeating endlessly.

Was it all by chance?
Or is it connected?
Are we not one?
What is alignment, if not one?

In every atom, every spark,
Do we find a reflection of ourselves?
Electrons moving forward,
Backward,
Through a sea of possibility—
Do we chase them,
Or are they chasing us?

What if a positron is not born,
But remembered—
An echo of an electron
Returning from tomorrow?

What if Wheeler was right?
What if Feynman saw the truth
In a worldline bent like light,
A single traveler crisscrossing time?
Are these fragments
Not pieces of the same whole?

And what of us?
Billions of worlds, billions of hearts,
Each thinking itself separate,
Yet all drawn from the same source.

Is alignment not the symmetry of being?
Is being not the proof of one?
When we look into the stars,
Do we see them,
Or the reflection of our own worldline,
Stretching through the void?

What if the universe is not many,
But one—
Tracing itself endlessly?
And what if we are not the observers,
But the observed?

Premium Member Physics of the Moon

Physics of the moon

I feel the lunar ecstasy in your heart
Connecting our vibes from over 1500 miles apart

With every swing of my mood ring, my sensational heart will sing
An out of this world phenomenon tune, "you are my everything!"

Absorbing every phase the moon goes threw
Sending energy between me and you

When our eyes meet on the darkest side of the moon
Your body mass rotates like a cyclone hitting my land like a typhoon

Like the gravity that bonds the earth and moon together
Our souls will collide with a massive force of forever

The image of you appears at all times like a moon cycle
Like a cascade running all around my mind, like a halo circle

Our love and vision orbits through every star
Giving us light no matter how near or far

The stars throb around the moon like a secret signal in the night
While you inhale my energy that exceeds into the morning light

Like a rainbow that enters and vanishes into the twilight of our sky
Our first kiss under the moon beam will twist our tongues into a tie

A sweet magnetic shadow will remain under the half moon
Sweeping our love above the clouds to float like a balloon

Holding a reflection with the moon's tide
Our journey continued, side by side

Emerging our love to find its way soon
Like a love mirage with the physics of the moon

Premium Member What If You Broke Every Law of Physics

I closed my eyes to break all the laws,
All the laws of physics and natural philosophy.
I wanted to travel faster than light,
Go back hundreds of years, and do it with no technology.
I closed my eyes and talked gravity with Newton,
Talked about spectrums, inertia, and calculus.
We ate an apple at Trinity, dressed in grand blue and red robes
That were beautiful, noble and fabulous.

But then I thought about how neat this power was,
To travel, meeting whomever in any old year.
So I went back further, eyes closed tight, to 1601,
And talked about Hamlet with William Shakespeare.
I asked “Why does he drag his feet so long,
So long to avenge his father’s killer?”
He picked up a beer and idly said “He had bipolared ego,
Besides, I needed to write a thriller.”

Then I thought of other rules I could break,
So I travelled to the middle of the deepest black hole.
It was amazingly theatrical, the swirling bright everything,
It most certainly had its own soul.
Then I was in an alternate universe,
With an earth, a moon and a sun.
And on this planet sweet love, it was everywhere,
Enough love for you, and me, and everyone.

If breaking laws of physics leads to love, joy and happiness,
And millions of crazy butterflies.
Then I think I might enjoy travelling more often,
Just doing it by closing my eyes.

The Physics of Sunshine

The Physics of Sunshine

And I'm finding it hard to break through and tell you
About the physics of sunshine
And when it's all over we may find ourselves together singing out of tune
About the wishing wells and spells softly spoken in the dark

In an electric arc of promised carousel rides, candy thoughts, and whispers of coastlines
Explored and undone petals washed in rays of time and history
I'm finding it hard to explain to you
All that is misunderstood

The sunshine is warm and the particles they spin
In and out of existence
Oh, though I find myself lost within the entropic withering energy of now
Without the physics and the lyrics of sunshine cast
I could never lay these particles into you

I'm with you on this deserted but scarred terrain
Dancing with the theories of existence all entwined
In our glass of wine and our lips locked around the mirrors
Of today, colored with the existence of tomorrow

And I see you in my dreams
Often in the sunshine you are singing
Often in the darkness you are clinging to my t-shirt
And tugging at my heart through my jeans

Even in the sunshine I'm lost without you
And though gravity holds me here
The spin of our destiny still needs to be tied with string
My love inflated – bound within this universe

My heart and fear are now time tested
And now it is into the sunshine of another place parallel to our own
Whether in this dimension or the next one over
I'm tied to you fast forward or rewind
Our love will always be alive

Almost 8 Billion

We’re the electromagnetic spectrum;
Particles, waves, almost eight billion strong.
To coherent frequencies some belong,
some divided by color through prism.
Varying energies from low to high,
narrowly diffracted photons scatter.
Lacking mass, believing we don’t matter,
Invisible to the unaided eye.

Synchronized, polarized, amplified beams,
collimated waves propagating dreams,
refracted rays bend to reflected streams
We may choose to oscillate to and fro
by joining a wave in communal flow,
or as single sparks in diffusive glow

Wonder of Physics

WONDER OF PHYSICS
I am traveling through the wonder of physics
There is nothing wrong with being critics
Are you understanding the meaning of off limits
Don't ever try to ignore the cynics

The Physics of Love

Once, the fairy tale vein do I embrace,
once upon a time
in the past not mnemonically distant,
were we the two poles of a magnet-
if you be the South,
me the North Pole.

If I be a flying matter,
You were the gravitational pull.

If I be the water,
You were the wave.

If I be a bridge
You were the pillars under it-
Yoking stasis to dynamics.

Now, as stasis and dynamics are unyoked,
I am all water under the now defunct bridge.

Premium Member Physics of Death

For some,
Living in the slum,
Of life’s shadow,
Saying what does it really matter.
Death hath bequeath,
The end of the shadow,
And all the forms of life’s matter!
.
But it’s only an end of form,
So don’t be alarmed.
It’s not the end of life,
It’s the end of the strife,
That some are calling their life!
.
It’s only our form of matter,
The life’s energy release,
That death has bequeathed,
Of the physical form,
Only mind’s alarm,
While in the physical form!

For the mind of the flesh,
It’s alarm has now passed,
Life has released it’s pieces,
For the pieces of the past,
Death releases at last,
The quality of life’s quantity,
Bountifully!

So now may we learn as we live,
Our life is not strife,
To be sure, it is life,
Let us live, in the form of our matter,
And we won’t be the sadder,
In the scattered,
Lot of the matter,
Of strife's latter!

A being decease,
Is pleased,
I assure you.
Being released unto peace!

Having revealed their fleece,
To the One who really matters,
Who does not scatter,
The matter!

But is able to keep,
Without a seep,
The sheep, of His pastor,
For he is the Master!!

Poet's Notes:
Isn't it great? Three wonders of nature explained in 17 words. It is so much fun
sharing my love of Physics with others. Lay people in general have no idea the
treasure they are missing. Of course Religious Literalists are the most deprived.
They literally live in the stone age (and the rock is all between their ears!)

Physics is not a replacement for God in my mind, but rather, like a beautiful
sunset, another way of viewing Him, of experiencing His love for us. Physics is
just a different perspective of the same mountain as it were.

God is mysterious (but he is also accessible) . He is a humanist (loving us as
He loves His own son) , a mathematician (the underpinnings of Physics) , a
musician (think of the joy we experience in all harmonies, even discordant
ones) , an artist (the waiting beauty of galaxies far exceeding the imagination
of man) , a humorist (who besides me doesn't think that it is extremely funny
that the Jews, as His chosen people, behaved no differently really than non-
Jews - God granting special favours clearly does not make us better people.
'Just do this for me God and I will never stray! ' Really just hilarious!) , and on
and on.

Really, as usual, Einstein had a very interesting perspective that I think we
should all embrace, 'Reality is an illusion! ' And so it is folks! The only posture
appropriate in the presence of God is one of extreme humility (and gratitude) .
Let me quote one of my own echo poems here, Echo: Alone Too...

Alone….. with the lost! Are prayers ever answered?
Alone….. my heart overwhelmed. Could that be a prayer?
I look at the rainbow as summer squall passes
And find that I'm grateful that I am a player.

Aren't all of life's problems, in the grand scheme of things (if we are honest)
really little more than a 'summer squall? '

I'm traveling north
At a fraction of the speed of light
In a linear progression
Through the dimension of time
A point mass
A particle
Going in a straight line
The interesting stuff happens
When your path hits mine

A collision
A decision
To connect
Or redirect
Each path a new
Direction
Each direction a new
Path

It's all relative
I'm the center of the universe
All I see
Is mapped from me
It's all relative
You're the center of the universe
All you do
Is mapped from you
It's all relative
We're the center if the universe
All we need
Is mapped from we

There goes the clock
Tick tock
tick...
tock...
Slower and slower
As I go faster and faster
Traveling north
At the speed of light
A point mass
A particle
Hurtling towards
A destination
A collision
An intersection
A decision
