Physics of Death

For some,
Living in the slum,
Of life’s shadow,
Saying what does it really matter.
Death hath bequeath,
The end of the shadow,
And all the forms of life’s matter!
.
But it’s only an end of form,
So don’t be alarmed.
It’s not the end of life,
It’s the end of the strife,
That some are calling their life!
.
It’s only our form of matter,
The life’s energy release,
That death has bequeathed,
Of the physical form,
Only mind’s alarm,
While in the physical form!

For the mind of the flesh,
It’s alarm has now passed,
Life has released it’s pieces,
For the pieces of the past,
Death releases at last,
The quality of life’s quantity,
Bountifully!

So now may we learn as we live,
Our life is not strife,
To be sure, it is life,
Let us live, in the form of our matter,
And we won’t be the sadder,
In the scattered,
Lot of the matter,
Of strife's latter!

A being decease,
Is pleased,
I assure you.
Being released unto peace!

Having revealed their fleece,
To the One who really matters,
Who does not scatter,
The matter!

But is able to keep,
Without a seep,
The sheep, of His pastor,
For he is the Master!!

Congrats on this selection. About life: At 80 I've become so aware, so loving of all life. Is it because I am growing closer to the Maker who is LOVE ITSELF. I think so. Love, daver

It's comforting to think of death as a release unto peace and I fully agree with your observations in this inspiring and surprisingly uplifting write. If only we could all see death as the end to strife. When we release our "fleece," these trappings will surely never matter. Beautifully written, John! Love, Carolyn
